Winter camping is totally the best - so long as you know what you're doing. You should return that bottle of Glyva.....it must have a hole in it somewhere to disappear so fast. O M G- -just realised...it had a hole in the top....ROTFLMAO. Glad you introduced us to the One Tigris Evil Eyes stove. Ours have arrived and they are superb. Lovely spot. Great set up. Like yourself needing the inflatable mat for ground camping now. Can remember putting newspaper on the ground and sleeping on that. Long time ago the joys of youth 👍. Yes used to go download festival every year too old for the festivals now tho I leave the moshing to the kids lol wild camping the way forward for me now can't beat it

Awesome video tank good tips on the high fats food I’ve got a 4 day trip in January with a couple of ex squaddys camping in north wales going to be freezing so whiskey and some good high fats might get me through it 👊

yeh they sell it in con club i regularly have couple shots with my guinness i 1st tried it last xmas there a old guy was drinking it and bought me one when i asked about it bloody lovely nice smooth and the tangerine taste afterwards is lovely aswell
First rate camp Tank... I've got a "one man" Dragoon Unlimited bivy tent, South African camo, and it's great. Have to guy the head & foot, but super roomy. ATB !

Two things bout the tent? Hydrostatic head and the poles.
It's 2000 HH, if I remember, and I had a pole section break. Easy fixed with replacement poles though.
Bang on yea 2000 HH. Poles can be replaced from Amazon.
Great tent probably my fav.

I have had 2 of the exact same sleeping mat. They only lasted one trip. All my self inflating mats are flat by morning. Waste of money. That's why I'll never spend £200 on the expensive ones. I'm joining ya in a drink
I have two of the Cascade/USGI so-called "self inflatable" matresses, 1.5" thick, 20" wide, 72" long. I have to blow them up, but they've been good to go so far.
I was quite happy on the German. We will see how it goes. Felt weird.
It's all new to me. I've goto adjust. I'm old school I suppose...
@outsidertank I have the same German pad. It's not spongy and you totally slide off it if you're on any kind of gradient. It sorts the men out from the boys. Only someone with an eye for the land can pick a spot to sleep comfortably with one of them. That's why I love them and give you major points for ALWAYS using one. Maybe that's why the n*zis were so pissedoff all the time and did horrible stuff... they couldn't find a flat enough spot to use their own sleeping pads. Well stop demolishing the surrounding area then ya dafties.
I think Tank that me personally would enjoy watching you erect the tent, stoves ect, like some of your earliest videos. However, nice set up Tank, those nibbles you had I eat them, and that’s to keep warm indoors…😂😂 yes, outside Tank, absolutely, I watch very little TV but I do like listening to my Internet radio, goes all round the world.
