- This video will show you how I replaced the front struts and stabilizer bar links on a 2004 Lexus ES330 with 160,000 miles. The suspension ride was feeling mushy and getting noisy when driving over rough roads. I highly recommend you replace the stabilizer bar links when replacing struts since they wear out out the same rate as the struts. I used the FCS strut brand as the replacement and have been using them for the last few years with zero problems with no noticeable decline in performance. FCS also comes with a lifetime warranty. I'd say FCS is comparable in quality with Gabriel and Monroe.
My electric tools are all Milwaukee 1/2 and 3/8" and use them extensively to make quick work of all repairs. From 12mm on up, I mostly use my 1/2" impact sockets and 12mm on down 3/8" impact sockets.

You've inspired me to put shocks on my 94 GMC1500 🎉 🙏
Good for you!
Great video 👍 Recently replaced the struts only for my 1994 ES300. Wasn’t to bad. Next project will be the timing belt.
Thanks for sharing!
Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
أحسنت، عمل رائع،
I was curious how come you didn't show the rear replacement, Mostly to see how you get to the top of the Strout nuts. Over all great video
Thanks! In the process of editing the rear end strut video. FYI - Must remove the rear seat and back cushion to get to those nuts.
I always enjoy your content.
What brand replacement struts are you using?
Thanks in advance.
I've been exclusively buying the brand FCS for years. Great value, fits and performs wonderfully and has a life time warranty.
