Thanks dude! I got a few quotes on getting my struts done and my jaw dropped when I got the estimates! So I am going to do it myself!
Good u can do it take ur time buys assembly if u can would be much easier
@@RBTheMechanic yeah I didn't want to deal with the spring so I just got the kit. I was successful at doing it myself! No more clicking when I hit pumps! Time for an alignment
Saved a lot of $$$ to
@@williamkreth good job! Glad u got this done urself
Real good video! Clear directions, can understand you, and very informative.

Yes very clear directions
Why didn't you guys replace the strut mounts? Other than that, you guys did a good tutorial.
Any recommendations on a good quality strut assembly? Also thoughts on doing a strut spacer to give more ground clearance?
Don’t put space will mess up alignment and make the car uneven. Well struts I would use kyb or Monroe
@@RBTheMechanic i recently bought some Monroe struts and they busted within a couple of months then again I’m driving in Massachusetts the pothole city
@@DavidGonzalez-bn4gw yeah that happnes but it seems they r not making good quality parts like they use to back in days
Nice video but I have no Impact gun. I have to do this tje old fashion way...alot of grunting, cuzzing, and alot of beers.
Lol as long as it’s done and everything is nice and tight in it’s place it will be worth it
Is it the same on the 2002 Lexus ES300? On the parts interchange 2002-2003 list as their own year.
Should be same
@@RBTheMechanic thanks for the feedback. I'm going to gain confidence in that theory by having autozone bring out front and rear struts for 2001 and 2002. And compare them. I found a set of 24 way adjustable for $269 but its only listed for up to 2001.
Where is your shop dude, can you fix mine.
I’m in north Nj Bayonne are you local to the area?
Can I do this myself, what tools will I need.
If you buy the assembly u can do it ur self other wise u need strut machine well tools I show in my video mostly 10mm 12mm 14mm 21 mm sockets 19mm 17mm ratchets
@@RBTheMechanic Hope I don't have to torch the bolt, would pb blaster work good. Do I just jack it up.
@@Throughthelurkingglass yo most likely the linkage bolt will be stuck
yo your in Jersey??? wheres your shop bro .
