I was wondering why you didn’t put the motor directly behind instead of off to the side ? Non reversible motor ? Either way good job. I was hoping someone chimes in on the make of your sander/grinder. Did your bronze bushing have any wear ? Keep up the good work.
Great job! I’ve got a band saw and a drill press to do. Watch a lot of restoration videos. The ones from, I don’t know, Asia maybe are hilarious. Dudes completely rebuilds with a hammer and a crescent wrench. Paints it teal blue or purple 😂 Love the (correct) color you used. Looks great. Btw, that’s a pretty good friend you have.
I enjoyed you video. I like to see old machines brought back to useful form.
I could use that old motor.
Glad to hear! I'm not sure what the plan is for the old motor yet

@@davidgridley3643 thanks! I only put it on the side because of the bench space allowance. It would have been too long unfortunately.

Thanks! I've seen those other restoration videos, some of them are pretty good!
I know this videos a year old. But in case you’re still wondering, that machine is an Atlas 5010.
Awesome, thanks Mike!
