      The CPU OC will work but you may not see high clocks. The APU part will definitely need a better cooler.

    Video says to set boost clock override +200mhz for CPU, but visually shows increasing the GPU boost clock override to +200mhz instead. Should be done under CPU Boost Clock Override, no?

    IT IS MUCH BETTER TO BUY DEDICATED GPU INSTEAD OF OC.......... Buy cpu cooler for increasing life of processor but not for oc remember those times when you use dual core processors....... Ryzen 5600g Stock is enough with 6 core 12 threads it is already very powerful than you think ..... No need to oc just buy dedicated gpu and enjoy..........

    I did this but my cpu only cap at 4.442.9 MHz and I'm getting 79c-81c temp, what did I do wrong?

      You should install a better CPU cooler , it won’t boost higher than that with such high temps

      @@Tech-Profis i tried to play dota with this settings but 2x my keyboard and monitor suddenly turns off so im back to basic settings :( is it my cpu cooler? MSI Afterburner is open but my temp is only 66c when playing

      Try updating bios, or reset bios and do step after step and see what is causing that

      your power plan where it says change plan settings, then click on advanced settings, the open processor power management.
      On the minimum setting, set it to 10%. Max sure the max is set to 100 percent

      @@Tech-Profis , Ryzen 5600G, B550 MSI MAG Tomahawk and Thermalright Assassin 120. Actually, today I was trying to get the improvement and... after I updated the BIOS, Windows got bugged and the Startup Repair system of Windows didn't avance, any of the solutions I found on internet worked for me, so... I had to reinstall de OS :(. After all this I haven't try it again

    I get a boot loop and or blue screen , however sometimes it boots into windows.

    I am doing a rackmount build with an ID-Cooling IS-55, a low-profile cooler to fit the 2U case. Will this be enough cooler for this, or can I at least compensate with higher fan speeds? The case has four 80mm fans also.

      Yeah but make sure to not keep it at 70 c like 60 50 good but 80 85 is very bad

    I did everything exactly as you said, and my Vega simply refused to overclock (kept 1900MHz).
    I have an Aorus B550, which supports overclock :(

    I copied all the settings for the cpu but it doesn't clock above 4,450Mhz. I dont think you actually overclocked in bios...
    Before you blame my cooler:- I have an ak400

      Same, I tried cpu boost clock override of positive 200, and achieved 4,650 Mhz

      That's normal. Each CPU has a different silicon chip, and each silicon chip has different microscopic imperfections that will affect it's efficiency and clock limit. You were simply unlucky.
