I do like my Tops knives, even if they are a bit over priced for what they are in my experience. On a side note, paper has a grain structure just like wood. If you cut cross grain (like you originally tried) any blade will appear dull.
Another great addition to your TOPS collection. I am definitely going to get that same knife at some point. What will be your next TOPS knife? I am currently waiting for the SXB, it should arrive next week. 👍
Yeah, this one is bad ass. I think I might get the storm vector eventually but I pretty much got the ones I really wanted for now. The SXB is a beast love that blade!
Hi Pal do you know if the bronze finish can be removed , had the exact same happen to me again for the 2nd time, ordered the acid rain finish as I didn't want or like the bronze finish but that's what Knifeworks sent me, ordered from the UK as well, but let's see what they say, the knife itself is class 👍🏻🇬🇧
@@ETB9090 hey brother, yeah I’ve never tried moving the bronze coating before. I’m not too sure if it’s similar to like growing a black coated knife. You can try using paint remover, but I’m not sure if it’ll work.
Que modelo de cuchillo es amigo ya ordene este llega el biernes pero no se que modelo es la razón por la que lo compre fue por que este apareció en la película predator 1010
Hey Pete, you have excellent taste in knives. I Love the TOPS knives. That knife is bad-ass for sure. Looks strong as heck. And awesome for combat utility or outdoor utility / survival. Have you by any chance got your hands on the TOPS USMC tribute blade?
@@pistolpete4991 Hi Pete, I think it is called the US Combat Knife or something like that. DBK just did a review on it a few days ago and rated it very highly . Particularly the strength of the knife. It just looked like one bad ass Bowie style combat utility blade!
@Pistol Pete my 1st was the Timberwolf, and I beat the snot out of it, no problems. Are they WT no. WT has set the bar on fit and finish extremely high, but they're also doing stock removal. Hand forged is just that forged, so he is still refining his skill, and he doesn't machines WT. The only issue I had with any of them is one hot spot on my guard, but I fixed that with my Dremel. I did a forced patina on my 1st one.
Grate review got me interested in this brand of knife as a truck knife ..aways better to have it and not need it ..than need it and not have it..
Thank you brotha! Ya very true!

Ya man I am big blade guy myself. I don't have a lot of small fixed blades but do have a lot of folders.
Yeah brother, we are the same way then.
@Pistol Pete I just picked up a Chaos Blade from knives by Hand. Holy smokes it is a short sword LOL my biggest knife to date.
@@Bigdaddyslasher I almost got a knife from them. Are they pretty good quality? I was a little leery of their blades.
