  • The region of Tiragarde Sound serves as the heart of Kul Tiras. Nearly bisected by the capital city of Boralus, the land is rich with wildlife in the hills and mountains to the north and south, and its people enjoy the bounty of the oceans to the south, east, and west. It is a realm of people in touch with both the land and the sea.
You’ll find many more estates and ports to explore throughout Tiragarde Sound. You’ll soon discover the situation among the nobility is becoming explosive, and you’ll need to seek out the source of it all.
To the northwest of Boralus lie the green rolling hills of Norwington Estate, where you’ll be able to delve into Kul Tiran culture, take part in their festival, and embark on a tour. Animal husbandry and horsemanship are important disciplines to the Kul Tirans, many of whom are skilled riders and falconers.
Further north you’ll encounter the Roughnecks, who are responsible for training the gryphons used by the Kul Tirans. You’ll need your cold-weather gear if you plan to trudge into the Waning Glacier and brave the bitter cold winds that blow through its crenellated passages.
While they’re renowned for their naval prowess, the people of Tiragarde Sound are accomplished hunters as well, even going so far as to seek out the terrifying monsters that lurk in the depths of the Great Sea. Those who enjoy a little hunting and fishing will want to visit Kennings Lodge south of Boralus, and there’s plenty of opportunity to seek out game in a land where wild Fjord Mustangs run free-there’s something for everyone here.
Further south, you won’t find a bigger hive of scum and villainy than Freehold. It’s populated by pirates, scoundrels, and those who claim to seek to live free of Kul Tiran control. These scoundrels pose a growing threat to the ruling families of Kul Tiras and are due to be reined in before it’s too late.

and in general (zones, dungeons, raids, quests, world pvp) to this expantion are excellent. criticism was due to the fact that there was very little new content after Legion. But the legion brought a lot to the game that will remain in it for a long time. Especially 8.2 is for me the best patch that Blizzard did

Audio-visually the game was always good, but the content was complete shit. Don't forget that BfA was literally released unfinished i.e. in beta version...at best. Not to mention they completely broke several classes and never fixed them which alienated huge player base...they completely obliterated druids and shamans....count in the fact that the content was boring, repetitive and just simply lacking...you get one of the worst expansions in history of WoW...the numbers don't lie. I've actually played through the entire WoD and even that expansion that they massively messed up by scrapping half the storyline in mid xpac was better than BfA...and that tells you a lot...

@@GamesPixword I guess, yeah, it is varied in the sense of environments, but the story in it and the finale in the Manor there made me pretty sad.
I don't get Blizzard's obsession with making nice human areas and then messing them up with something (Redridge had the Orcs destroying and occupying half of it, Westfall felt abandoned and crawling with the damned Defias, Darkshire was.. well, dark, and oppresive).
And with WoW being what it is, most areas remain like that. I was amazed in Cataclysm when I saw they had "fixed" some areas in the Plaguelands and in Westfall, though it seemed to come at the cost of destroying Hillsbrad, which used to be one of my favorite areas.

@@GamesPixword I haven't done many quests in Vol'dun, actually, but to me it actually felt too.. cluttered. It was supposed to be a barren desert but there's not nearly enough desert to it and each side of it has something going on, plus the freaking pyramid in the middle. The mobs too, feel like they've been packed in there.
Tanaris and Silithus felt way more like deserts, and even when Uldum was added, there was more distance between objectives where you just rode through dunes and sand-storms. I remember questing in Tanaris before Cata, you could realistically go around hostile mobs and meander your way across the zone, in Vol'dun you can't step 3 yards in any direction without being jumped by everything and its mother....

Bfa zones had that "human" feeling like they looked real places. Shadowlands zones are good but they are too alien. They just dont feel like wow.

I have my gripes with BFA (the cavalcade of systems and just... Sylvanas) but I'll go to bat for the 8.0 zones any day of the week, they're solid as anything from previous expansions. They always felt like regular people actually lived there and they had a rich lore and history. Compared to them, the shadowlands zones feel artificial and lifeless.

People hate BfA, just as people hated Warlords of Draenor, and before that Mists of Pandaria, and before that Cataclysm. I personally hated TBC. And very soon, people will rediscover why they hate Vanilla.

I've never hated BfA for the zones and leveling process, but for the clunky and shitty core gameplay mechanics, which ruined the entire expansion for me which i have dropped. And that was really sad thing to do, because I am in such a huge love with Kul Tirans and Boralus. The best zone in entire WoW.

  • @vtr0104
    @vtr0104 4 года назад +1

I recognize none of this music.... It's actually great. Blizzard's stupid zone cutting in Boralus made me hear that song restart 5 times during every fly-by so not even 2 days into the expansion I turned off the game music for the first time in my life :(
I've been playing BfA and leveling my alts with just game ambience (to be fair, it made me appreciate the sound designers even more since the ambience is amazing and pretty much adds character to whatever zone you're in. I can't believe it took me this many years to notice it was there).

not the worst. Not the best, but not the worst. at the level of pandaria.
locations and quests are some of the best, dungeons and raids, too, finally, there was a reason in the world pvp (quests with a reward in the form of conquest points), updated 2 old locations. some classes have become better after the legion (especially warriors and warlocks), there appeared relaxing content (expeditions), more awards in the open world (mount, boe), seasonal affixes. In short, the content is many times more than in the same dragon, the cataclysm (yes, even in the very same LK there was less content (there was almost nothing there except pumping, ulduar and ICC)).

danger Noodle You will not continue to play, because this expantion is of the same quality as the pandaria (and it was very good). There is already a problem with you. Either you are just tired of the game and you need to rest (I made a big break in the draenor and now there is not even a desire to cancel the subscription), or you are already old for the game.

    • @dangernoodle2868

@@maestrrsantarael6590 , that's great but you only think that because blizzard hid their subscriber numbers so that people like you would remain blissfully ignorant of how many people dislike this expansion.
