  • Join Christopher Rea, Wella Professionals, in this tutorial where he shows how to transform dull and lifeless hair into a beautiful color finish with amazing strawberry blonde pieces using BlondorPlex and a creative formula with Color Touch. Get inspired by the quick technique with the perfect balance of about 10-15 foils and freehand pieces to add dimensions to the hair. A great technique with minimum effort for maximum effect!
    Step 1
Sectioning of the top area and placing a few foils in each quadrant of the hair. Tease each slice of hair before applying your lightener.
    Step 2
Add a few balayaged freehand pieces through the top section.
    Step 3
Develop visually up to 50 min. Rinse and apply WellaPlex No2 and leave in the hair for 10 min. Shampoo the hair with INVIGO Color Brilliance.
    Step 4
Apply the toner on towel dry hair and develop up to 20 min. Rinse using INVIGO Color Brilliance shampoo and Post Color Treatment.
    Step 5
Use EIMI Natural Volume and Perfect Me when blowdrying and styling the hair.

I'm naturally strawberry blonde and I'm glad to see it getting the popularity it deserves. It's so nice to see people appreciate my coloring after I was insecure for so long from teasing. Thank you for your video ❤️

Hello I've accidentally ended up a sorta strawberry blonde when I bleached my dark brown hair & I'm trying to tone it to be a true strawberry blonde and not orange/brassy. I heard that purple shampoos can you strip the color, is this true? Would you recommend a purple shampoo or a demi-permanent for toner? Or both? Thanks

There are so many products for zero result, looks like only the styling is different.

I was wondering is it just me or the "result" looks just like the original only a tad bit darker? Total waste of time and resources.

Look closer. In the before she has one dimensional color. Just a solid color all over. In the after the highlighting looks very natural and lived in but there is still quite a bit of dimension. It gives a natural sun-kissed look the the hair. Particular on the hand painted balayage sections. You want it to be subtle and not an in-your-face striped highlighted look. This type of highlighting allows the client to go longer between services and is easier to wear and way lower maintenance. When her roots start coming in you won’t even be able to tell. It’s a seamless transition.
