C'mon. If nobody starts buying all this overflow. Prices have no option BUT to drop and drop big! Greed Never sustains itself.
Or they will artificially maintain the prices until it all collapses. That's what the swamp wants, the system collapsed so we're trapped and helpless.
It's not entirely about greed. It's a factor of jacking the price as high as possible to fund their cell phones on wheels. Their EV junk costs three times above normal operation costs on combustion vehicles. Their charging the customer base to fund their garbage.
@@gwen7231 you say it's not entirely about greed then type an entire paragraph about their greed🥴
@@gwen7231they're jacking the prices up to force ppl to buy the EV's lol
@@gwen7231dodge hasn’t even started selling their EVs so it’s all on their ice vehicles.
Yeah I agree. It would be nice if they cut the stickers down. When I bought my 392 and built it, 39,800 these same narrow body that are over 50k are ridiculous
There is nothing that can replace the sound of a cold start 392.

@@TKsGarageI love the 6.4 but the 5.7 sounds like an absolute beast
I got my 22' Scat narrow body Challenger Shaker for 65k with 1,300 miles in 2023.
Some point soon Dodge will have no choice but to move these vehicles. Hold the line people.
I got my side.💯
Interest rates are the main problem now.thanks for your videos.
I have no idea why so many of these people complaining about Dodgers prices aren’t mentioning the interest rates. An 8% interest rate is a hell of a lot different than the 3% that it was just a few years ago before the Russian - Ukraine war and the federal reserves raising of interest rates at that time.
What could have been a $1000 a month payment on a hellcat or a $1500 a month payment on anything in the $100,000 range has easily passed $2000 a month. And just when interest rates were going up they decide to introduce the grand Wagoneer and bump prices up $15,000 on anything with a hemi or hellcat.
Dodge is going to die painful death
20-25% off msrp and 3.99-4.99 at 72 months would work for me. 40% is fantasy world imo
As for the 2024-25s they need to prioritize the ICE versions instead. I'm a V8 guy but i'm a mopar guy so if you have 550hp ice maybe with some stage kits to pump it up... I'm listening...
No issues with them making an electric option but i think hybrids would have been the place to start.
I'm thinkin' thee end of June will be a buyers market
November December.....
Most Dodge dealerships in my area (Mobile, AL) are showing discounts on narrow and wide body Scat Packs in the $5K to $7K range, however they are still playing stupid games. This weekend I went with a friend who wanted to pull the trigger on a Scat Pack narrow body that had most of the options he wanted. On CarGurus, there is a 7k cut from MSRP, however when calculating the final OTD price after a nice test drive, the salesperson showed a price with over $5K was added back in dealer fee's, doc fees, pre-delivery prep fees and that all disgusting addendum sticker of useless dealer installed options such as Scotch Guard, VIN etching and nitrogen gas filled tires. Even on a car that has been sitting on the lot for over 120 days, this dealership would not negotiate a real discount.
I been looking narrow body scat pack with 6 speed in local dealerships and for me it’s about price:
At $54k MSRP it makes no sense.
At $47k dealer price it would make sense for 2024, for 2023 I would be taking 30% depreciation before making first monthly payment.
As it stands new late year model at that trim level would have to be bellow $40k for me to buy it over Mustang or o Z.
… I would be ready to pay $45k for 4 door Charger scat with 6 speed (that doesn’t exist in US) but in 2 door fun car for around $50k there are just better choices for the money right now.
Yep, I'm going to look at mustangs.
Most of the stealerships in my area still have high markups.....the new thing they are doing is taking the market adjustment price and taking off markups say it s now on sale😂msrp on a hellcat was 80k....with markup it was 103k....sale price was 82k😂these prices need to be at msrp and then drop 10-20k off
Notice how it’s like half and half out there on car brands that are either drowning in stock or have relatively empty lots. Toyota, Honda, Subaru etc seem to have customers on their lots. Stellantis, Ford, Nissan are crickets.
It’s almost like no one wants to buy engines that explode or transmissions that go bad the first 45k miles
No lie Lincoln’s PHEV and Hybrid engine would spontaneously combust in the 2023 Corsair.
Wild.
Just purchased a Civic today. Got about 12% off msrp and got a solid deal on my trade. It was the easiest experience I have ever had. They did not have that many vehicles on the lot. Test drove the Subaru (too expensive), Corolla (didn’t have the right trim available) and Sentra (the cvt scared me). All in all these dealerships seem all over the place. What’s sad is there was really nothing to consider from the Big 3 because of the lack of sedans. Since car sales are actually up I wonder if the Big 3 will at least come out with 1 in the future.
4th quarter last year I asked what you think next summer was going to look like. you WERE RIGHT, once again. You said overstock on new and tons of repos as well. coming
“Up to 40%l” includes any price drop from 1% -40%.
Chances are it won’t be that much.
In case anyone is interested I drove from Cincinnati OH to Nebraska last week. I saw at least four Ford dealerships and several GM dealers with lots jammed FULL of cars so it's not just Dodge.
I hope you are right. Some dealers are claiming they are selling at invoice but I don't believe it. Future tense, not present tense about how dealers will do anything to sell a car. Hope you are right, I'm waiting.
PS I made regular stops for gas, etc. Truck stops, gas stations - plenty of nice new Shell stations that posted "no ethanol" in 93 and NO charging stations. I may have seen less than half a dozen EV's on the trip both ways. Look up EV Car nage to see what it was like taking a trip in an EV...
Saw lots of new Challenger Scat Packs on Autolist under $50K just yesterday. Widebodies too. Lots of narrow body Chargers but only a couple Widebodies.
I know of one instance when this happened in the past. When the new 2011 Charger SXTs arrived on the lot near where I live, there were four 2010 Charger SXTs that were all marked down by $7K.
I have always been thoroughly impressed with your speaking skill set, but you have exceeded my expectations with this video. You being able to discuss numerous talking points and drive on the freeway at the same time is truly incredible. You should be a director for Toastmasters for sure 👍
They need 0.9 for 72 months and realistic prices the 2015 rt challengers were selling for 32k brand new and now they want near 50k for the exact car
Ultimately, I think that will be how they are able to move their inventory. Rather than large write offs and markdowns on the MSRP or the market adjustment they’ll just reduce the interest rate and least these things.
The average consumer doesn’t understand finances well enough to see that they’re buying an outdated, more than 10 year old vehicle with outdated engine technology.
At the end of the day, people are going to be underwater on their loan regardless what it is and are going to have to come out of pocket if they want to upgrade later.
Hemi Muscle just showed a Rt the same price as a Scat it’s spooky out here.
You on the grind. im tryna trade in my 2021 RT for a scat when the time is right but I got a ton of negative equity rn
Great video Brad. Dealerships played dirty early on and now its our turn to wait on long game
Found a Super Bee with an $11K discount. Think it'll go lower? I'm ready to pull the trigger on this one. Also found a 392 Daytona with an advertised $18K discount!! (Gotta be a fake price on that one...)
Just picked up (4/10/24), my 2023 Dodge Challenger T/A 392 for $9,500 under MSRP. Vehicle had been on dealer lot for close to a year.
I can tell u as of today 03/29/24 on the 2500 and 3500 trucks they actually already started reprinting buyers guides for 10,000 under what the msrp was
I completely agree! Especially about the interest rates. If Dodge can get those down a bit, it will really help move these cars. Also, I think you're right about the Scat Packs and Challengers. There's no way they can keep those prices up with the new electric cars coming out. I'm definitely going to wait a few months before buying. Thanks for the info!
OC, I hope and pray that you and your family have a wonderful and blessed Easter.
Last week, the Challengers had $6000+ off, from various sources.
This week, there’s only $2000 off the same car.
I agree but prices in Oklahoma CIty haven’t gone down that much yet.
The issue is people are stuck on these "old prices" and what Hellcats and Scatpacks once cost. NOTHING costs what it did years ago. Have you guys seen food prices, flights, vacations hell even cheap cruises are extortions. Cutting the prices of these cars will come but it won't be even CLOSe to what it was.
Keep on thinking you’ll see.
I don't know about California, but in Baton Rouge the price of widebody scatpacks was $65,000 now $51,000 brand new.
What about if you’re in the market for a used hellcat? Does this still apply? Im looking at a 2019 hellcat
Thank you Brad as always for your videos and I can't wait until you make another more OC motivator video on career opportunity growth and on life.😇
Is a new fully optioned RT for 34K worth it? I have a 2020 v6 i can trade in.
Production has ended forever. Just like in the early 70s when 426 Hemi production ended. They couldn't give them away back then and now they are worth a fortune. Some future generation will become wealthy from these 23s.
Don’t think so. There’s been a bazillion of these made. Not many 426’s were ever made and between crashes and salt eating them up there aren’t many around at all
@@Gdesign959 So, history will repeat itself. Between crashes, theft and salt eating them up there won't be many around in a few generations. Thanks for the thought.
You're right Brad!
The thing is.. making them WANT IT, to do things for you, with you, to be on the same sidewalk while still leading the pack and achieving your objectives. That is a very hard thing to do.
Well done 👍🏼
No I've never had a meeting like that 🤣
Dodge is now owned by the french. The french have continuously shown they do not understand the American market. Dodge is done as a brand here, they won't recover solely because of the lack of vision of the new owners.
Italians. Not French.
Brad congratulations on your business meeting want to drop a little bit of knowledge that I've heard today a Ford higher up executive told me that there will be a GT 500 Shelby mustang I know you're not up the four channel but I just want to let you know
The question is, will it be offered with a manual transmission?
Question--Do you have Swinger on WILL NOT start without a PIN CODE. All Hellcat's & Scatpacks NEED THIS!--Knockout 360--AWESOME
Holden out for a new 2500 Power wagon as well
I recently bought a 2023 PW for nearly $20k below MSRP. Level 2 with Ram Boxes. I paid $67k MSRP was $86k.
All the nice stuff is still very heavily marked up, even used 2023 Redeyes are still 10k over sticker, new Black Ghosts around 150k and Demons at around 180k
They are starting to do it on the RAMs. So far it looks like they have dropped MSRPs by $10,000. The sucky thing is the sale price is the same because dealers have been offering $17,000 off, but now it’s just $7,000 off.
Love a narrow body Challenger Scat Pack or a 1320 in blue, 🙋🏻♂️be my first Challenger taken me sometime to get here.
Dealership near me marking $10k of msrp. Scatpack for $45k
100%, sir. Patience is key. Soon enough, everyone will get their hands on a scatty or hell-kitty. The tide will turn. The dealerships need to move a year's worth of inventory to make way for the EVs. Stay optimistic people!
Another great video. Thx
Hopefully soon cuz I’m on the market for a widebody charger next month
I’m seeing scat packs in mid 40k on CarGurus.
Good News on Good Friday!
Discounts are already here on 3.6L and 5.7L models. Discounts have yet to come to new Scat Pack and Hellcat models.
It’s the government behind this
Most dealerships haven't dropped prices enough yet, or at all, but I have found a couple dealers that did drop prices. There's a dealership in Tampa that has taken 12-15k off of some Rams, chargers, and challengers. But Dodge needs to do better.
Which Tampa dealership?
@@georgepetrillo7316 Jerry ulm from what I saw, but they'll probably have fees and add ons they'll try to throw on. I just looked on Cargurus nationwide search. There seems to be some discounts on stuff online, but what's the real OTD price.
@@georgepetrillo7316 a place I found on Cargurus, Jerry Ulm Dodge, but who knows what fees and add ons they'll try to throw on. And a couple other dealers on Cargurus, like Naples and Arrigo, but who knows what the actual OTD price would be. Diubt I'll buy a ram though with the etorque on the trucks and stuff they have been doing lately.
Arrigo CDJR in Margate, FL has several 2023 Challenger R/Ts with massive discount/rebate of $15k - $17k. The lowest price I saw was $29k with quite a few in the $31k range.
Well either my comments aren't going through or they're getting deleted. Owell either way I guess just have to look at car. Gurus website to check.
The problem is so many people 1) lease their vehicles and 2) show up at the dealer after a) deciding they're sick of their current vehicle or b) their lease is up and just buy/lease whatever the salesman has on the lot which, in a few months, will only be $h1tty 3Vs.
I go to the dealer today in the morning to talk about my lease my lease is over in May and I’m gonna buy my 21 scat pack wb got it brand new in 2021 and I want a hellcat but I am not gonna budge and pay more cause I got a good deal for my car and absolutely love my car but I would love a hellcat but I don’t care , we will see what happens and see if they budge a little on a hellcat no way I’m getting a used cat it has to be the same I’m paying rn or less cause if they didn’t want me to come in tomorrow if they ain’t a little desperate? I think but we will see, I love your videos and the knowledge you give us thank you OC
I was also told that sumn “”BIG” is happening in May!
Where there is Smoke 💨 there is FIRE 🔥
Id think the lower prices will have to be in the form of rebates or dealer discounts. Once a car has been invoiced and floored, I dont think an invoice or window sticker can be changed.
That is exactly what Arrigo CDJR is advertising. Advertised as "dealer discounts and rebates" on 2023 Challenger R/Ts are in the 15 - 17,000 dollar range, bringing the price down to the $31,000 range with one being $29,604.
The monthly payment, especially if you go $0 with good credit is just ridiculous. The payment alone can pay a portion if not rent monthly for someone. Even if you put down a sizable down payment to get a reasonable monthly car payment, you might as well put that towards a house if that’s your interest
To be honest I'd prefer the current model over the ev
OCMotivator Great Video I definitely agree that Dodge needs drop their prices and have some specials to clear out all of their 2023 Inventory
You are the Man !!!👍👍
Love to have a new hemi challenger, as long as i dont have to work on it ! (40+ years auto tech, been there done that)
Rock on!
They cant sell cars that peeps want now, how are they going to do when cars show up that peeps dont want?
If they did 4% 72m and re-sticker 20% less, I not think they will fly off the lots.
Gotta say: the '25 EV is ridiculous--by specification--but I'm actually interested in the sixpack b/c of GT mpg and styling.
Yes, I like the style.
And by "ridiculous" I mean a toy only meant for those people who do not value their time or their money.
It would have to be practically free for me to take advantage, But why would i do it? I mean some of these new cars are probably lemon law candidates (Talking about the one that was lacking the glue bond weld stuff) and the companies are selling the info to insurance companies and anyone else interested
Dodge is finished - they priced their cars too high, and now they are only making shit that nobody wants. There is no saving it, Stellantis needs to sell it. As for the dealers, they deserve to go out of business too.
I have a new hypothetical theory: what if, the dealerships saw the EV play coming with Stellantis and have been trying to hold on to inventory to weather a storm of EVs not selling. Like they are rationing out their inventory. It's far fetched, but are they allowed to do that or does Mopar have control over this?
Nope, I’ll pay 100,000 for a house but not For no vehicle the auto industry will crash and burn. It’s gonna happen.
Do you think that would happen? I am no business major. Restickering a car base price from 66,600 to 2015 prices of 60k base plus all the options at 2015 prices it kills the value of the car. In July of 2023 the manufacturer's base price is 66,600. In April of 2024 the base price is 60,000 they would really devalue their own car. Why would anybody by a vehicle from them if they have no resale value and a majority of people would be upside down on their loans?
Well, JB reviews has a video about Ram adjusting their window stickers...so maybe Dodge is going to do the same thing?
I don't see many scat packs or hellcats at dealer. I just see tons of Grand Cherokee and Compass.
check dealers in outlying and less affluent areas, some dealers already discounting on their own.
I just emailed OC last night. It’s been happening at the dealership I work. And yes it’s a less affluent area. Prices are being cut.
Dude there’s like 6 DEMONS; in a lot an hour from me😂( old one not the new one)
I may be remembering wrong but I swear there was time when I could get a standard hemi with 6 speed for 30k. Ok, I must have been several years ago, but there is no way I will pay 40k for these new Challengers.
I love my octane red charger daytona. Still in great condition low miles. In 2025 I'll see about getting a good deal on a hellcat
As a kid, my dad and I started out as a Dodge dealership in 1963 selling the 1964 Dodges...what a great time that was. The mid to late /60's and early '70's were magical...until the oil embargo. As Dodge dealers, we went through our share of trials and tribulations with Chrysler Corp. but it was still a wonderful business. We sold our store in 1996 and I have been retired since but kept my hand in buying and selling Mopar Muscle as a hobby until I wound up with my new 2022 Charger Hellcat Redeye after selling my 2014 Viper GTS this winter. I feel very sad to see what has happened to our beloved Chrysler Corp and Dodge specifically over the years as Daimler and then Cerberus almost took them down until Sergio Marchionne (sp?) and Fiat brought them back and then Tavares took them over and renamed it all Stellantis. I hope Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep can make it but unless we get a change in leadership in Washington, DC this fall, we are all doomed...not only Chrysler but America as well.
Listen to hemi muscles last video about his friends experience at the dealership.
Should I continue to wait? I’m looking at an RT 2023…brand new…for like $35k…should I get it?
Where is it selling for 35k? Out the door 35k would be nice
@@MrFoxfire510 yeah I got it 34,500. Out the door
their current promotions run out on April 1st…
A dealer already told me there are new incentives for next month. There HAS to be.
All the deals are great however with these deals the dealer will put the screws to you on your trade in. Caution people.
Scats should be 50k wide 45k narrow. They would sell out in 72 hrs. Throw in a moon roof “on the house” they’ll sell out in 24 hrs.
I need a new hellcat !!!!! Since I lost mine to becoming paralyzed in 2022
I don’t think a new one will help you. regardless, very sorry for your condition.
@@ignignxkt Sure it will! I know a guy who had a stroke over 20yrs ago and is paralyzed on left side - still drives a car, even with his eyes in different directions. And he drives better than most "normal" people. If Supershane can afford a Hellcat, get it! It will bring incredible joy in to his life.
After waiting the last year or two for a v8 hemi I personally think my hype has died and no longer care to own one nor support these Dodge dealerships.id rather get a BMW OR audi. Nothing but high payments, APR%, stealing/death come with owning anything dodge and the saturation of this vehicle has made owning one no longer special IMO.
I've had Eurotrash. Won't ever have it again. Look up what Jay Leno says about European v American.
They ain’t dropping any prices enough
At 6:43, you said none of us feel bad about dealers going out of business, especially the ones playing games. You just had a video about manufacturing layoffs of the people making the cars and how bad it is. It's no different with the dealers. They go hand in hand. There are salespeople, service writers, mechanics, etc. I'm just curious. Why don't you feel bad about that?
Interesting that you can’t figure this out yourself. But then again. This is the internet. The dealers have been ripping people off. They’ve done so much damage to the brand that now no one wants to buy these cars. It’s the dealers fault that jobs will be lost at dealerships but there will always be a need for the service departments. It’s the slimey salespeople, managers, GM’s, and even the owners who are ruining it. And no I don’t feel bad about them. The folks at the manufacturer level are simply making the cars we’ve loved for years and now getting kicked to the curb for electric junk. Now this still may be hard for you to wrap your head around, but be clear, no one feels bad for the dealers and if they go away someday then there will need to be delivery and service centers just like Tesla. Ever gone into a Tesla service and delivery center? It’s a frigging absolute pleasure. And in the end, nothing would make me happier than to have the dealers get back to caring about the customers and at least trying to build relationships and repeat business with us vs rip us off as much as they can with lies, manipulation, and shady tactics which no one can deny have gotten way out of control.
@@ocmotivator Telsa is behind the potential destruction of the ICE auto industry. I have absolutely no respect for a company that makes the vast majority of its profit from selling scam carbon credits. The only reason I would go to a Tesla location would be to throw eggs at the Clustertruck.
@@ocmotivator Your elitist point of view is quite distressing. The dealership decisions are made by the owners and upper management. Not the workers. The dealers have working-class people, like the employees at the auto manufacturers whose owners and stockholders make the decisions. Your wishes about dealers would hurt a lot of people. I simply asked you a very simple question. Your insulting reply makes it very clear to me what type of person you are. You don't sound like someone who is a negotiator. You sound like an angry man.
On v6 yes..v8 no
Why would they reprint stickers? One of the best sales gimmicks is to show huge discounts. It's not like they can't sell cars. Chargers have dropped from a market day supply of 477 days to 326 days between 2/7 & 3/7. Power Dollars on the Scats & Hellcats and they will be gone. It might take a little more for the SXTs & GTs, but not 40%.
Oc motivation we mess wit yu 😂😂💯💯💯💯🫡🫡🫡
I dont know what they where thinking charging so much for their cars. I bought my Scat Pack for 42,000 dollars back in 2017 now the same car is over 80,000. How is this right for a car thats exactly the same. Not 1 extra anything . Now they stopped making the cars everyone actually wanted and are selling appliances. Refrigerators with wheels.
Look up the reports on CarCoach about how Tesla has been selling carbon credits to ICE auto makers and the extortionists at the EPA have been fining companies as well. These expenses have been passed on to the consumer so place blame where it belongs: FJB.
I would buy a demon if price is right. Or a red eye
I disagree with the price slashing. The best way to move a massive amount of vehicles quick, is cheap leases. RT (0 down/$350 monthly), Scat (0 down/$475 monthly), Hellcat ($0 down/$590 monthly) a month but the miles allowed per year will be the catch. Most leases are 12,000 but the cheap leases will be 6,000 or less and $.25mile charge for every mile over. There will be some lease trade assistance but they will try to do upside down trades in these deals and this is where people will get a bad deal. For example 2022 Hellcat $30,000 negative equity current monthly payment of $1400. The offer will go somewhat like a normal cheap lease of ($0 down/$590 per month to a negative equity trade of $0 down and $1000 per month for 60 months (normal lease is 36 months or less) deal. On the surface it looks like a great deal but the deal is making $490 more per month which is $29,400; still seams like a great deal? No. Lets say the car is only driven 10,000 miles (very conservative estimate) which is 4000 over allowance in lease terms so $.25 x 4000 is $1000 for exceeding lease allowance per year. So $5000 is due to the dealer on turn in at the end of the lease. Most will simply want to buy the the car at residual value at the end of the lease and pass the $5000 onto the new loan. The residual value is also an area often agreed to at the beginning of the lease and is determined by the dealer. Cheap leases are great but for a second vehicle which will not be driven too often and no trade is factored into the deal. Smart YTers will use this as an opportunity to get anther car for more content and I can't wait.
Even when the prices were somewhat reasonable back in early 2020 leases didn’t work because the money factor sucks on these cars due to insane depreciation, maintenance and repair costs with the srt products, short 36k mile warranties, and now combining these with the high interest rates, even with mfr subsidized lease rates they just won’t make sense. Not to mention that people need really good credit to lease and historically Dodge buyers are younger with marginal credit. But who knows. We will see.
Good point; coming from tech: a good launch is a sign from God, and a bad launch is, too.
With this economy good luck & record Inflation to ever one and I mean that
my fav videos to eat food too lmfaooo
It better be soon, because they're soon be 2 year old cars, and then we'd want used car pricing.
i dont see them slashing they just let it go under see a compass on the road plastic car
It is really hard to hear you over the drone of your engine.
Think about this hypothetical. The new Dodge lineup is either going to be much BETTER than the current lineup, or the new Dodge lineup is going to be much WORSE than the existing lineup.
Consider the hypothetical that the new lineup is going to be so much better than the existing line up, so that's why they want to sell the existing lineup fast. Because when the new lineup is delivered, nobody's going to want the old cars.
I hope that'll be the case, but I would bet money it's not going to be...
They have so many Jeeps that need to be sold.

Has Stellantis provided any physical evidence that they can produce a non-$h1tty (by 3V standards) 3V?
