Wakeman’s genius on keyboards, church organ and as a choirmaster sets him way above any other prog keyboardist. I was a choirboy in the late 70s. We had the most amazing choirmaster and organ player in a huge high church Anglican cathedral. We used to perform the choral/organ arrangement from the end of “Awaken” at services. Changed my life.

But referencing my comment on one man genesis, if you did sell your soul for your musical talent, then take me to Satan's party so I can hear you play forever! A lifetime of work and natural talent is showcased here, phenomenal!
I absolutely LOVE the depiction at 1:46 of how the Mellotron works internally for ALL the world to see, the tapes, the orneriness, crankiness but incredible sound of it. I love that instrument and has shaped soooo many tunes and music for so many bands, notedbly YES here, Genesis, The Moody Blues, etc. Thanks Antoine for including this..
This is the way Yes music is suppose to be played. What this shows is how great Yes music is, and that it takes a great musician/producer to create it.
If there is a doctorate degree in prog rock, this man has it.

I had to wait two years but it was totally worth it. Awesome work Antoine!! The scene with you playing the organ section of Close To The Edge in the church is as rock star as it gets.
And how lucky that he is once again touring with The Musical Box .... and he was even better this time around Oct. 2021 !
Saw them 2 months ago in Jersey. Awesome
@@markpetersen5055 musical box is so good, they don't even need to play musical box in their set, and no one minds!
I saw them about 2 years ago and didn't realise it was Antoine. They were brilliant as well
But referencing my comment on one man genesis, if you did sell your soul for your musical talent, then take me to Satan's party so I can hear you play forever!
The talent of 5 of the best musicians ever, condensated in this one man: not bloody fair!
This is the way Yes music is suppose to be played. What this shows is how great Yes music is, and that it takes a great musician/producer to create it.
19 minutes et 48 secondes de pur bonheur! Merci!
Bravo Antoine! Simply the best!
Not too often you find one guy who can play all instruments equally well. This is crazy... especially with complex music like Yes.
A real masterpiece my friend! You've done a gigantic job with Yes music! Chapeau!
I can't stop listening to this.
Inspiring, moving, brought tears to these old eyes. Thank You
BEYOND gifted…
I don't if this guy can create, but he can definitely Re-Create and what a masterful musician!
