Exploring Queen Elizabeth II Pennies (1953-70) Discover Low-Value Treasures and a £60,000 Surprise!

After after specimens and test strikes in 1954 the final design of the coin for the pneumonic were decided. And the fur coin was produced in 1961, often referred to as the without 'BRITT:OMN' removed from the original legend and stands for "of the Britons" coin is very similar to the 1953 and 54 model, portrait of Queen does seem more clearer and more precise. You can often find these coins from 1961 - 1967 in uncirculated condition at a fairly reasonable price.
If you're thinking of starting collecting coins, these are good ones to start with as you can get high grades.
