As side note: It is possible to be Canadian and American, which is what they call a dual citizenship. My grade 9 geography teacher was born in the US but also has a Canadian citizenship, so that's how I know it's possible. However, I'll just stick with being Canadian only, but I love American freedoms and values and support the well-being of the US. God, who is Jesus Christ, bless America!

What really stood out for me since I've returned, and from what I've seen personally: Most concerning is the poverty and the lack of and allocation of funding for nutrtional support, mental health services and affordable housing available to the poor, working class, and elderly. I used to say proudly that Canadian care for these specific groups within our communities was superior to the USA. Unfortunately, it is with a heavy heart that I say that is no longer true.

Canada was an amazing place that I was proud to live in before this government destroyed our way of life and our economy. Now I want to move away to another country because it will take a lifetime to reverse the damage. I’m done with paying 50% tax and then getting taxed to death further by paying for corporations carbon tax as well as my own. I’m lucky to keep 30 cents on every dollar I make in this country. That is a complete embarrassment considering how extremely wealthy we could be. We export our pollution to other countries then import products back so that we appear to be environmentally friendly. Not only does this create more pollution by transportation of goods it empowers other countries over our own. Soon we will be bowing to foreign leaders at this rate. Make Canada great again please it breaks my heart to see what he has done here.

Incorrect. It was our money but now it belongs to the government. One of the laws we all have to abide by while living in Canada is to give some of our money to the government in the form of taxes. It is therefore no longer our money once we give it over. Not sure why people don’t realize that.
