    Many people think that it's only when you break down or take a wrong turn is when you're on a true adventure. I tend to disagree. Traveling solo, into unfamiliar places, especially in desolate and truly remote locations - now that's adventure! Riding alone isn't for everyone, but I've learned to really appreciate it. Loving the "daily diary" format of the series so far (even though I'd love watching the entire thing as a movie!!!). Thanks for bringing us along!

      totally agree. I rode from MN to MT (and back) last year, 3000 miles alone. No dirt road, just regular back roads. Great travel experience. I faced strong wind, cold, snow, heat, rain. And some nice sunny days too.

    That’s funny, when you say you’re surrounded by mountains, to me those are more like hills… Where I come from mountains have snow caps.

    • @punchnazis3498
      @punchnazis3498 Год назад

      There are lots of snow-capped mountains in Nevada (and every other state on this trip), which is named after the snow-capped Sierra Nevada mountain range ("Sierra Nevada" means "snow-covered mountain range" in Spanish), which is home to the tallest peak in the contiguous US (Mt. Whitney, at 14,505 ft/4,421 m). The mountains around the Black Rock desert are part of the Black Rock range, which have a high point of 8,566 ft (2,611 m), and do get snow, as do many other mountain ranges in Nevada...if your definition of "mountain" is "snow-capped", then by your own definition, what you see here are mountains. Also, this guy is from Arizona, which has snow-capped mountains of its own, and he just rode through the aforementioned Sierra Nevada. I don't think he's a stranger to the concept of "mountains have snow" lol

    Here's my ONE suggestion, for your consideration. Someday you will end a new tent. Do NOT buy another 1-Man tent! The 2-man takes up very little extra space, comparatively, but affords a MUCH less claustrophobic living experience!

    Good vid. Enjoy the drone footage. Luckily you don't have to dodge the trees. There's a lot of nothing in Nevada. Just amazing scenery. Some sand and gravel operations along the road. I inspected some out there. The mines have camps for the workers and they bus them in. 10 day or two week rotations. Old time work. Seems all the main roads run east west. The interesting ones run north south. The BDR will certainly be interesting. Looking forward to seeing that. Stay safe
