I've listened to this way more than what is considered healthy. This arrangement fell into my "repeat song syndrome" quite perfectly - awesome job. And as the internet would say, "It gave me the feels."

LeoUchiha812 There is actually an OVA, if you haven't seen it yet I'd recommend you check online. It's quite hard to find but it's not bad. :)
LeoUchiha812 Ehk. Chrono Trigger would make a crappy movie. It's far too quirky to be made into a serious live action film, and there are too many subplots, locations, and characters to fit in. Might make a pretty good anime series, the character designs wouldn't have to be changed and the quirkyness wouldn't really need to be hid to keep the sales up.
It would be better as a single season anime series (26 episodes) most likely. There isn't so much content that it needs much more than that.

they travel through time, see the end of all things and by a technicality, new game plus is canon. and the MOUNTAIN is the thing everyone picks up on.

Exactly....I wish we could get a more modern version of this game without ruining the wonderful story/art/music. But then again, some games are best BECAUSE they remain classics and beautiful. =)

The DS version is good, still is largely unchanged though.
Its got a few extra fights and thats about it till the end where you get some extra story. =)
This cover is the only song that comes to my mind every time i remember Chrono Trigger. To me, this is the only and real main theme. In my moments of loneliness i always remember how amazed i was 10 years ago when i found your channel while i was just starting my studies in music and how cool it was for me. 10 years have passed and i still think you are cool and i am even more amazed for the effort you put in the things you do.

Nearly 30 years after it's release, Chrono Trigger's soundtrack is still, to me, probably the greatest video game soundtrack of all time. Seriously, no video game of that era had a right to have a soundtrack that damn good. Good job man! You killed it!

Played Chrono Trigger for the first time on my 3DS around 1 month ago as it never got released in europe on SNES. Still holds up fantastic as a game. Awsome combat and the animations is great and all the things

this truly was a game that did everything it could to make the perfect jrpg. I haven't seen a game with this level of effort since.
1:15-1:42 gets me every time, whether its this version or the SNES one. that part always gives me chills and have to repeat that part like 10 times until I have my fill lol

Smooth, I just have to say this. This arrangement has helped me keep the strength I need to not give up, especially in the situation I'm in. I have a kitten that's just gotten out of a surgery that would either save her life or end it. She's out of if now, with some minor complications, but this song has helped me keep hope alive.

Et bien... si on reprend l'historique des musique des jeux 16bit pour les retranscrire aujourd'hui y a des orchestre entier, suffit de voir les musique de Final Fantasy (les vieux) qui mobilise tout un orchestre juste pour le thème d'un personnage du jeu x) donc on peu dire ici que Smooth Mac Groove réussi a lui seul de faire le boulot du orchestre...juste avec ses cordes vocale.
