Thanks man! Yeah, I mean in terms of the variety of sounds you get and for the money, the Airas for sure. The TB3 has a few patches with chords, which a TT03 couldn't do alone. I've honestly looked at a TT03 for the analog goodness, but I need at least 4 voices of sequenceable polyphony. Anyways, yeah Airas are a good choice, and they just added 606 sounds to the TR8. Thanks for watching!
Dude. Epic. I really consider you one of the great inspirations when it comes to the Aira series. A really sincere thanks from Sweden! Btw. Could you (if possible) share the pattern for the TB-3 in this clip? Take care!
I did own a TR909 an TR808...., well they are good for a museum now. Love this new machine....more possibilities for sure ., everybody who claims my 909 or 808 sounds better have to admit this baby does very well for the little money. GREAT !!
Nice work! Love that sound. So, you recorded video and sound separately. How did you get both in sync? I also wanna do a vid for RUclips, but I don't know how to do it. What do I need?
derayu Thanks, yeah so you need to record the TR-8 via it's USB into a DAW like Live or you can even use Quicktime. Just get the audio somehow. Same goes for the video, use whatever you have. Then, use a video program like iMovie or Vegas or whatever you want really. Import the audio, and import the video. You can time align them by dragging the regions around until you find the perfect spot. That's really all there is to it. The simplest way really would be to use the webcam on a Mac, and record video with that while recording audio using the TR-8 as an interface, then everything should record perfectly in time without needing editing. Now that I think of it, I might use that method.
Just bought a VT-3! Plan to use it along Maschine although a mate is selling a TR-8 for $350! Im feeling that getting those 2 would be redundant. What do you think?
Not redundant for workflow. I like step sequencing on the TR-8 the most mainly for its 1 to 1 function for buttons, sliders and knobs. Maschine is attached to the computer, but infinitely more flexible sonically. I'm experimenting with drum replacement using the TR-8 as the core. I have grown a little bored of the polished TR-8 sound. To conclude if you've never made beats on a TR-8, you should give it a try. Very quick, sounds great, and no clicking around, which is always a plus.
I just bought the TR8 and TB3, I went to LA Recording school for Recording Engineering and I am not a musican (knowledge of Music Theory and all) but I trying to practice your track and not having 100% luck. If possible, could you please send me how you set up the TR8. I got how the TB3 was set from a link in the replies. I love your style and really would like to learn from you , so I improve and sound as good as you.
I went through about 10-videos & your producing the best sound as far as was people pay to go see. I always say "if I can shut my eyes & it sounds like your dj'ing than they are good!" your sound needs to be live so like if I worked with you if just start getting the next beat ready to mix into another beat then just go back & forth..keep it up
House isn't something particular, it is a feeling!
This jam certainly shows that house feeling.
Robin Popma Thanks!
Yeah , feel it same

Dope shit, man. Reminds me of this oldschool tribal house I had on Junior called 'In the dark'.
People must have pushed the dislike tab by mistake. Either that, or they are detached from reality.
Lovely groove created in this video.

@@ObscureMachines Only six years later the file is gone 😬
@@r0ck53n also Seven years later the file hasn’t been bringing itself back into existence yet.
Behold, the student has spoken. The teacher saw it, and it was good. Truly, the fresh beats have been resurrected. And so.. The people danced.
Love so much
well! i love this!
"...and so they blew him off" such literary genius LOL, this stuff is great, pure raw deep house
You like that huh. I didn't do so hot in my english or literature classes, too busy working on music stuff!
Obscure Machines Thought it was funny man lol! This is good stuff
do it all for the lulz
I did own a TR909 an TR808...., well they are good for a museum now. Love this new machine....more possibilities for sure ., everybody who claims my 909 or 808 sounds better have to admit this baby does very well for the little money. GREAT !!
+Bob Lamers I did own a TR-8, but sold it and bought a 909. J/K...yes TR-8 is a good one for sure
Encore! Great inspiration! Do you record all of this into a DAW?
Ableton
man nice set you made... what was used for the voice... I am looking into TR-8 was that where you had the voice created from
+ksmooth12606 made from the VT3
Love it!
+Neon Catstronaut Thanks!
This is awesome!!! what's your routing process for this ?
does the vt3 go into the tb3 via midi and then from the tb3 to tr8 via midi ?
Nice!
+Glen Brady thanks again!

Rami Amin Abi Rafeh Thanks!
i synced my tr-8 to ur beat n jammed with ya bro!
Gaanja Mon Nice, you should post it
Nice Set :) Are ut using external effect unit ? You surely caught the house wibe
No external fx just built in and everything was done on the gear you see in the vid cheers!
really digging this! but where does the chord come from??
+We Island Thanks, it's the TB-3
What sounds were you using in the TB-3? As in, the number? Sounds really nice.
I don't remember exactly anymore, but check earlier comments cause I think I answered a while back
dope !
Real cool! Did you route the TB-3 to the VT-3? I cant get that sound on the TB alone, is there something else in the mix?
nicos808 That's just the TB doing its thing
Obscure Machines Yeah found it :) B3. Well used OM
What do u use for vocal?
SM58, and VT-3. If I had a switch on the mic it was a crappy vtech mic.
+Obscure Machines Why?
I just bought the TR8 and TB3, I went to LA Recording school for Recording Engineering and I am not a musican (knowledge of Music Theory and all) but I trying to practice your track and not having 100% luck. TB3 was plugged into external in and sidechained on the TR8. TR8 808 kick, 808 or 909 clap, and 909 hats. Not much else to it.
Good. Very good
Thanks!
HI . great stuff here. can you put pattern for tb3 here? love the jam
+Dawid Maksymow Thanks, it's like 2 G notes I believe. The preset sound is the key for this one.
I went through about 10-videos & your producing the best sound as far as was people pay to go see. holy shit that vocal!
+brandon duncan haha thanks man!
sounds good ;)
+Limian Groove Thanks!
You need to make more deep house jams! I know you play the bass so get it out and slap that groove!
+Sands Kreative Verksted haha yeah man!
Great!
Thank you!
