"Slow, nerdy and a bit older" that's me. It is lovely to be on booktube alongside you Hannah.
I’m so pleased, too! ♥️
Thanks for doing this tag! I loved your answers. Very glad you’re part of this community 😊 I’d love to see a vlog from you!
Thank you so much, Katie! What a terrific set of questions!
I love to watch tag video's as it does help you get to know Booktuber's a bit better. When I first started to watch booktube I enjoyed it but knew I had to seek out a different type of channel. I had settled in nicely with a handful of channels that provide just what I need. I occasionally find someone that has been referenced but ultimately rely on the few that I have come to adore. Thanks for your thoughtful video's.
Thank you so much for being here, Marcia!
Hannah, I love this video. I was visiting your old stomping ground - Pawley’s - for my son’s field trip.
Oh lovely! I’m hoping to be there and in Murrells Inlet sometime soon!
“Slow… nerdy… and a little bit older…” those are some of my favorite BookTubers to watch… but I won’t name names. 😂
I think we need to make a formal list! There are definitely quite a few of us!
Hello Hannah, I hope your Passover is going well. I love your videos because you exude a calmness that I lack. I hope to do this tag. I’m amazed, but not surprised that your storytelling has mass such numbers. I have never had a video over 800 years, but I still can relate to the friends I’ve made on this platform. Shalom and aloha friend.
I'm so grateful you're here! :)
♥️ Likewise!!
Loved the video. Your students must be very happy with you!
Thank you, Elfie! I’m not teaching right now, but it has always been a joy for me.
Congratulations on almost five years on Booktube! I'm still new. I've been reading a script because I'm scared and I need to get away from that habit somehow.
I totally understand! I would consider sticking with a script for a little while until talking to a camera no longer feels crazy, then doing detailed outlines for a bit, then less detailed, etc. I’ve been doing this a long time now and I still have trouble talking off the cuff!
Love this video! Thank you for sharing! ❤️🌈📚
Thank you so much!
Honoured to have been an early part of your BookTube journey! I have been so behind on watching and seen many of these but yours popped up just when I had the time for it. It's true that the confidence talking to the camera really grows over time and I've also found that has helped me in other fields. Lovely that BookTube has brought you the extra support that David thought it would.
I too am terribly behind on watching videos and making them. And absolutely-I am so much more confident speaking publicly than I was before. A friend just asked if I would be willing to give a big talk-and although I hesitated at first, I started to think I might be able to do it after all!
This was delightful, Hannah! I really enjoyed hearing your early booktube history.
Thank you so much, Pat. I have a feeling that you will be around at least as long as I have been!
@@HannahsBooksthat’s very kind of you to say.
I would love Love LOVE to see you vlog _Anything_ in & around D.C! You have a very pleasant voice and could have another career as a narrator. Easily!
❤❤❤
I really enjoyed this video. I didn't realize that you were in the Washington DC area until I saw this. My daughter is interning for a Congresswoman in DC this summer. I told her to be sure to visit the Folger Shakespeare Library while she's there. I've only been to DC once, but I loved it.
I have lived here about thirty years now. I hope your daughter has a wonderful experience! Yes-the Folger (which is close to where your daughter will be working) is wonderful. Seeing a play there is always fun. And they’re opening a cafe there this summer.
@@HannahsBooks I didn't get to see a play at the Folger, but I did enjoy getting to see a Folio. Very fun.
@@LiterateTexan Amazing!
This is a very aesthetic comment, I saw your thumbnail, and I wanted to tell you how amazing your hair looks. I think it must be the length. It looks amazing!
Thank you, Kami! It is in need of a trim, but I am enjoying having it this long for the first time in years!
@@HannahsBooks. I went back and watched your bookshelf tour and secrets video, and I also like your short hair hidden under the wrap. Nice collection, by the way.
@@kamidsjournee Thank you!
Wow! Five years on BookTube! What an interesting journey that you have had. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to watching your "Stay Gold" tag video soon. ❤
Thank you so much, Mild! There was a while there when I wasn’t very active, but even when I was neither making many videos nor watching many videos, I was thinking about what I might say about whatever I was reading when I next talked to my imaginary friends. I promise to get to your wonderful warmhearted tag, but I have a couple of other ones that might be first. 🤓
A lot of good answers. I also thought tags were silly when I first started and I thought I was going to only be serious or something in videos haha. I've tried vlogs as well but never have published one because I didn't feel they came out well. I'll be on the lookout if you do try one out though. Also, no worries, it's Justin not Jason haha (it happens all the time)
Oh Justin-I am so sorry! I knew better in some part of my brain. My apologies. I just corrected it in the show notes.
@HannahsBooks no worries lol, I have a friend named Jason and we used to work together and our names are still interchanged like 1000 times.
You truly have had a wild journey, here, since Ive known you. That sounds like an excellent online teaching gig! So glad to have you as a friend 🤗 Thanks for the #FaulknerInAugust _Shout Out!_ 🎉 So glad you're a Co-Host!
I’ve never actually been a cohost, but I would love to be (after you check in with the rest of the hosts). Thank you for your wonderful friendship, Allen.
