There's a way they can still build it up like a kaiju movie, still keep transformers and Joe in there at the same time. Transformers has a history of using things to hide among humans in the comics and movies. They could have Transformers pretending to be humans (not the one off horrific way that the Bay movie did it). They've kind of built up an avenue Pretender technology in Rise of Beasts. We could easily have Decepticons posing as humans, unintentionally messing up a Cobra front. Cobra thinks it's Joe at first, then finds out it's Decepticons poorly pretending to be humans, and how their mutual views align. Joe does have someone stalking all this on the side, and makes a call to a team to help. It's a really good kaiju slow burn up to the pinnacle fight where the audience learns how Devastating the Transformer race can be around us. You can tell I haven't thought about this at all lol
I don’t want gijoe movies. Just focus on the toys. Bring back the cartoon from sunbow, even DIC. But transformer and GIJOE movies suck they always have and they always will. Animation and comics are what helped make GIJOE famous, why go away from that?
Dialogue from the 2 exstraction film's was very clunky. The best action can get you so far, but without a good writer/script, the action is just going through the motions. My opinion.

Just slap G.I. Joe logos on both Extraction films and edit a few Transformers flying across the sky and in the background and Bob's your uncle.
For some reason, Kong: Skull Island looks like a movie I could Replay and can never get boerd of. 😉👍
