    I don't be generally attach human attributes to my motorcycles but over time seem to bring out different behaviors in me when I ride them. Two strokes and some current Triumph triples sometimes lead me to be a little antisocial.
    BMW's boxer and Moto Guzzi engines bring out my more mellow side. I also have Kawasaki Z900RS and I generally behave well when riding it but enjoy listening it's howl when briefly running through a couple gears.
    I don't think some motorcycles have or don't have soul but they can bring out different behaviors of their riders. If somebody thinks the Kawasaki Z900RS is bland don't blame the motorcycle it's the rider.

      Well said. Character was perhaps the term I should have used. (Have watched your channel often - thanks for the comment.) Cheers.

    Yes Rizoma mirrors are insanely over priced. I use CRG Blindsight LS mirrors on all my bikes and they've never failed me. A little pricey yes, but worth it IMHO. The problem with buying any motorcycle part on eBay or Amazon that is $29.99 is u are supporting Chinese companies that blatantly copy other products and sell them dirt cheap.

      Very true - and not something I have paid much attention to. Your CRG Blindsight LS mirrors seem like very good value. Certainly I will keep an eye out for them. Thanks.

    Having been a motorcycle obsessed teen when the original Z900 hit the streets and blew every other bike off the road, I can tell you from that reference point alone the bike has soul. Your oblique reference to a recent comment made by The Missenden Flyer that the Z900 has no character did not go unnoticed.

      Well spotted, Lyle! Didn't want to draw too much attention in the vid about it, but I do hope he rides the bike before dispensing with it (it's not even run in yet). He will be sorry.

    At least you don't have an Aprilia, BMR. Their dealer backup & spares service makes Guzzi's look great!

    • @BlueMarbleRider
      @BlueMarbleRider  5 месяцев назад

      Hopefully the Aprilia will improve. Guzzi is now increasing the number of dealers, and being part of Piaggio like Aprilia, perhaps the Guzzi's will be able to offer some service for those guys?

    I have Oberon bar-end mirrors on my Z900RS and they are rock solid, seem to be high quality and (new) are around £80 for a pair.

    Don’t like the turn-signals you put on the z900rs … not a fan just my opinion as a fellow z900rs owner

      I get it, they are certainly very different from stock or the 70s version Z1, but they are quite low profile. Thanks for the feedback. Cheers.

    Great video sir and subscribers did pick up on your comments while riding I did leave a comment on the individuals channel and advised sell older vehicles before them become money pits.with your talent and mechanical knowledge it’s not a concern. How annoying being supplied the wrong oil filter I assume it appeared correct but didn’t seal hence the pool of oil ?. I like to use genuine filters on my vehicles and found my local Honda Dealer actually cheaper than my local motorcycle none dealer which is disappointing as I would prefer to look after my local garage but after some research found the main dealer a better price. I’ll be double checking part numbers remove to part supplied are the same, thanks again.

      @BlueMarbleRider  5 месяцев назад

      Thanks. I actually noticed before I put the filter on that it has half the capacity and the fittings inside it were quite different from the one I pulled off the griso. The local Guzzi dealer is new, so I'll cut them some slack and give them another chance. I shouldn't be surprised at the observational skills of my viewers, but I really didn't think anyone would pick up on my thought on TMF's "quandry". I think Andy, TMF, should really ride the bike for a few thousand miles before, establish a connection with the bike, before jettisoning it for V4S (a vastly quicker - likely license-threatening racier-ride, which also doesn't have a British connection, and only weighs 6kg less- not sure his arguments made much sense...But oh well. Cheers.

    Nice mirrors!
    The Rimoza bar end mirrors I have cannot be placed downwards. The underarm blocks sight to the mirror.However,
    I noticed the " Underbar Mirror Kit Triumph Scrambler 1200" is a nice alternative. On my Griso I noticed the lower it gets, the wider the engine looks like and I do get many comments how fat she is.
    Have you considered an oil thermostat? on Grisoghetto a topic revived "8V overcooling project" which caught my attention lately which will be on my wishlist.
    kr, Erik

      I haven't - My Griso runs about 125F-140 winter and 140-160F summer according to the aftermarket temp guage that the previous owner installed. I'll check it out, thanks.

      Seems to be way too low to vapourise moisture and for a decent adhere of oil to the moving parts and may cause damage... At Grisoghetto "8V overcooling project" a thermostat with these specs is used:
      Typical stabilisation temp 215ºF (102ºC)
      Activation temp 212ºF (100ºC)
      Full flow temp 233ºF (112ºC)
