Love that you covered the technical stuff but didn’t leave out the thing that got us hooked, the feeling. You definitely got my stoked to get back out on water as soon as possible
As another kiwi foil designer, really interesting to hear Arnie's journey into the sport and how the design process works for them. I'm on a DIY budget and about 5 years behind in experience but the beauty of the modern world and communications, the internet is that any of us can research and innovate our own way into the future with dedication and a little bit of talent. Inspiring!
Great guys, always good to hear what Armie has to say. Totally get what he says about not wanting to release new foils too soon but with the competition bringing good gear out I think it’s important to get the new HS wings out soon so he doesn’t lose customers. I’m a massive fan of the HA925 but it’s not for everyone. Loads of Armstrong riders here in the UK but I’ve noticed a few changing recently. Hurry!!
No new HS range coming.. Only the new MA range which bridges the gap between the HS and the Ha. Best most professional podcast by the way...beating the other interviewers by a mile and you are half their age :)
Hi all very good interview. not often with this level of clear explanations. congratulations. 2 questions to armie - why amstrong so expensive in france? - will you design speed and race foils? jean guy
Thanks Jean! We will see if we can get in contact with Armie about your questions. Asking you local supplier in France might be a better way of answering the first question.
Armie has a weird hybrid accent - kiwi with American "r"s. Maybe he was at a pub in Honolulu and couldn't get a beer because they didn't know what a beea was.
Fantastic interview, awesome to see an interview done by some young guns!!... similar to my age
Great interview, I like your professional setup and approach.
Thanks Rob!

@@Mickfoil1 Thanks Mick epic insight.
Great interview, boys! Thank you
Thanks Rob!
I told Laird about board hydrofoils on Maui in 1987 and he laughed.
I like that T-shirt that Armie is wearing! I dont see them on the website; Is there somewhere we can pick them up?
You can get Armstrong tshirts here www.armstrongfoils.com/tee-shirt/ . If your looking for the exact tee might have to enquire with Armstrong!
