      Good morning. Is this Hebrew a general language that they speak in daily life in Israel, or a language specific to the Torah?

      @@غريبفيوطنيفلسطين *I understand it's biblical Hebrew. The title of the channel is Biblical Hebrew. But until now it's everyday Hebrew that's taught in the channel. Ahlan wa-sahlan habibi!*

    But I have a hunch you flipped פרח and ציץ around for some reason...

      @@AlephwithBeth Hm so is ציץ really "flower" and פרח "bud", or vice versa?

      It would seem from the use in the text that פרח is the bud or early stage of flowering, and the open flower is ציץ, though there may not be a super strict line between the two. I think we see the distinction mostly clearly in Num 17:23, where Aaron's staff "sprouts" פרח, and "puts out buds," פרח and produces blossoms/flowers ציץ.

      It's specifically the ancient Hebrew of the Hebrew scriptures, so it's a bit different than Modern Israeli Hebrew.

      @@AlephwithBeth Thank you for your response. I am learning the Hebrew language. I learned to read and write, and now I am learning to converse. I liked the teaching method on your RUclips channel, but I felt that there was a little difference.🥰

    Thank you so much Beth! I was hoping you would do the Hebrew for "bring", as I noticed it was a Hiphil verb which seems to come up quite a bit in the Bible. Shalom!
