The power system in the United States is controlled by private companies, so they can raise electricity prices at will. For example, when a hurricane hit Texas, the price of electricity was tripled. China's power supply system is controlled by the state, and low prices must be guaranteed to the citizens. The China government has also tried to generate electricity in many ways. For example, the construction of hydropower stations, solar power generation and wind power generation. Your chopstick skills are impressive. The US Media kept accusing China of “stealing” their tech…. But, somehow, the version of those techs in China is almost always a whole generation ahead of the one in the US. It was 1996 when I last visited SZ, and it was very much a rural area outside of the streets immediately around the train station that’s linked to Hong Kong. NONE of the buildings used for the light show were around back then. They probably were farmland back then. Bonus from your video: we have been saying “Mercedes” wrong. So wrong. We’ve been saying “Mer-say-dees” instead of “Mer-See-Dus”. That’s salted egg, BBQ Duck, and Cha Siu (BBQ Pork).

I travelled alone to Shenzhen for work exactly 2O years ago and was "warned" to look out for pickpockets and dodgy characters for the whole week by Hongkongers. It worried me so much that I spent all the time between the SZ workplace and the hotel room. Today SZ is one of the safest and most dynamic cities in the world. How it transformed within 2 decades is simply a feat of human achievement! Only in China!! ❤
there are two light show in parallel in Shenzhen. another location is in Shenzhen Bay park or talent park which is close to the location showing in the begning of this video, that ligth show is even more better than what you saw in the CBD area. because that's light show also includes drone show (hundrends of drones in the sky). keep in mind Shenzhen is HQ of DJI
Those are salted duck eggs. In restaurants, it can be served shucked or unshucked. Because it is very salty, you can hold it in the shell and eat it bit by bit with chopsticks, so your hands will be cleaner without touching it. Of course, restaurants may also peel the shells and put them in a bowl for you to make it easier for you to eat. Usually, a small mouthful of salted duck eggs can help me eat up half a bowl of rice. It's so salty, I have to eat it slowly haha
I dont like that little buns also haha Again you two are rare vlogers show your react reaction rather than “unbelievable”everything.Love you real. 喜欢你俩的真实❤

DJI (drones) and Tencent are both in Shenzhen, it's like the silicon valley of Asia. You are right people in Shenzhen and southeast China do look different from people in Shanghai and Beijing, due to different geography, even the spoken dialects are different enough that they sound nothing like Mandarin. 😂 Thank you for sharing your experiences and wanting to learn more about our culture, that's how we all connect with each other despite language and culture barriers. 😁👍
This light show makes me want to visit Shenzhen and experience it myself! As a Shanghainese, I feel that Shenzhen is even more futuristic. It's so cool!
The 1/2 cook egg with shell is an Salted duck egg , whole egg is mainly brine with salted water for 30 days , the yoke is firm and salty / oily creamy taste . you should enjoy this with plan rice , China Have massive supply of energy ( electricity ) to light up the city sky /the shops and streets every night .
wow!welcome to SZ!!! I lived in SZ two years ago! SZ is a city where is very fit for living and working!! There are at least 4 CBDs in SZ, each one is very modern, nice tall buiding, and high paid jobs. And, around CBD, we called "village in city", there are plenty suppies of rooms for worker, nice food and so on. lived in or nearby "village in city" is very affordable and friendly to young people and outcomers. SZ is famous for its technolegy, but for me, i love SZ because its inclusiveness. most citizens of SZ are not "local people", they came and joined SZ from different places in China. because of that, Shenzheners normally are very kind to each other. Nothing is easy for people far away from thier home... I went to Shenzhen where I graduate from university, and i live in there for eight years!! I really miss SZ.
Welcome everyone to travel to China, enjoy delicious food, and explore beautiful scenery. The visa free transit policy in China is very good and convenient now. Welcome to come and play more.
Easy way to determine a vehicle is electrical or gasoline car through the color of its number plate. Green number plate can only be used for new energy car (either pure electrical or hybrid) , blue number plate can be used for both (in most case gasoline car). Blue number plate costs more in major cities, so in case some owner sell their old gasoline car and buy a new energy car, they have the option to keep the right to possess their blue plate to put on their new electrical car because it costed some money to acquire that plate. For newly bought electrical car, if the owner does not have a vacant blue number plate, then a new number plate needs to be applied, it will be green for all new energy cars.
Ginger has a type of food enzyme that changes the integrity of the protein in milk. Liquid warm milk mixes with fresh ginger juice will become jelly/pudding -ish custard.
The jelly balls are made of Sago. Sago is almost pure starch from tropical palm stems, composed of 88 percent carbohydrate, 0.5 percent protein, and minute amounts of fat, and contains only a trace of B vitamins. It is a basic food of the southwest Pacific area, where it is used in meal form to prepare soups, cakes, and puddings.
Sago vs tapioca: they may appear identical, but they're sourced quite differently. Tapioca comes from cassava - a long root of a vegetable. In some South American countries the root is actually called tapioca. Sago is made from the pith of the sago palm. Not sure if one can tell the difference from the picture.

Shenzhen is the window of China's reform and opening up and the youngest city. This city has been around for over 40 years! Many city buildings and streets are new! The greenery in Shenzhen is great and everything is clean. I hope you enjoyed your trip
你这评论方式跟印度人学的吧,看着贼别扭,根本不是中国人的习惯。

Thanks you! 🥢
But it’s called MERCEDES! But actually we have a lot of names to call a Benz
China is so advanced and far ahead of everybody in technology that all the US politicians keep on saying out loud and in secret meetings how to slow China’s down to keep it from surpassing the US even more! The US keeps on using dirty tactics to destroy China’s technology and economy, but China is still ploying through ahead! That is how strong China is right now, even with the US’s dirty schemes - China still wins!

The. Light show happens every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 3 shows on each of those nights. You can see it from Lianhua mountain as well.
there are two light show in parallel in Shenzhen. another location is in Shenzhen Bay park or talent park which is close to the location showing in the begning of this video, that ligth show is even more better than what you saw in the CBD area. because that's light show also includes drone show (hundrends of drones in the sky). keep in mind Shenzhen is HQ of DJI

Haha thanks for sharing! We were wondering!
I usually eat salted egg with congee, or cook it with vegetables
哈哈哈你俩太逗了,love from india

Shenzhen looks incredibly futuristic and vibrant. The drone delivery system and light show were especially impressive. If you enjoyed Shenzhen, you should definitely visit Yunnan next! The beautiful landscapes and rich culture there are a must-see. Keep up the great content!
In many hotels there are also robots to help you pick up your parcels or guide you to find your room
I’m glad more of you guys are visiting and experience and tell the truth abt China. Welcome and hope you have long lasting impressions

Amazing video. Keep up the good work. Support
Thank you for sharing your experiences and wanting to learn more about our culture, that's how we all connect with each other despite language and culture barriers. 😁👍
Welcome to China. I hope everything will have a good time on the way next!🎉
Thank you!
Brilliant. Thanks guys for sharing!
This light show makes me want to visit Shenzhen and experience it myself! As a Shanghainese, I feel that Shenzhen is even more futuristic. It's so cool!
The 1/2 cook egg with shell is an Salted duck egg , whole egg is mainly brine with salted water for 30 days , the yoke is firm and salty / oily creamy taste . you should enjoy this with plan rice , China Have massive supply of energy ( electricity ) to light up the city sky /the shops and streets every night .
wow ,the clean streets, the delicious food and the Beautiful night。I like this country
It is always fun to visit a traditional vegetable/wet market.
Welcome to SZ, guys!
深圳是座美丽的城市,祝玩的愉快❤
wow!welcome to SZ!!!

The second letter on the license plate of green new energy vehicles represents the type of vehicle, A/B/C/D/E for BEVs and F/G/H for hybrid vehicles.
The light show is absolutely stunning 😮❤
Oh wow this light show is spectacular!!! First time I’m seeing this

Amazing!! Thank you for taking the care to show us real-reality INSTEAD of fake/false/fabricated "reality.

Welcome to Shenzhen, China! Around 400,000 people from Hong Kong travel to Shenzhen on the weekend these days to spend the day or stay overnight there.
HK people are now buying houses In Shenzhen because HK everything is expensive nowadays. They come to HK to work and return back to the mainland. I can’t blame HK people to travel to mainland and spend their money cuz like I said everything is expensive.
OMG, I grew up in Shenzhen. My parents still lived in Baihua,Futian, which is a 15-minute walk from Huaqian North. My last time in China was in 2018. There seems to be so much change now.
Planning to back next year 2025, hope I don't get lost as Shenzhener.
