Just come through treatment for endometrial cancer. It’s a big shock to your system but trust in the process I’m doing well after a year of treatment but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I’ll cross all my body parts that you get good news. Big hugs to you both❤️❤️. You will persevere!!!!

I’m 3 years clear from having cancer, as the nurse said at the start, your ours now and things will happen very quickly. Like you , full body MRI and CT scan to check if it has spread which you will have the results very quickly. Keep positive

I have been there so know everything you are going through, the unknown and waiting for results is horrific. 😞 I had cervical cancer in 2008 because I didn’t bother with smears so I know how bloody lucky I am to be here. Once you are armed with results and a treatment plan, weirdly, some of the stress leaves because you know what you are dealing with. Try to make amends with whatever wonky cells have grown in your body because they will soon be gone! I called mine Tommy Tumour and told him it wasn’t his fault he had grown in a way he shouldn’t have, but he had to go! ❤😊

My mum died off cervical cancer 43 years ago unnecessarily, and I had cervical cancer after giving birth to my second daughter which was 33 years ago. I always have my smear test and make sure my daughter do too. This is why I'm still alive and my mum isn't 😢.so your courage is to be admired ❤
My mum too, Tracey. Her cancer could have been spotted but she hated to be "examined" and avoided screening until it was too late. She became really ill and then I sent each day as her carer, watching her slowly die befre my eyes of cancer that could have been avoided . I bitterly resented her not fighting, not going for treatment just cos she was "embarrassed" Nobody dies of embarrassment so get bloody checked. I know I'm a bloke and you might say its easy to say, but if I thought I'd got testicular cancer, I'd damn well get checked out. If caught early its easilly curable. Even six years after mum died, I'm still bitterly angry about her resigning herself to her fate and I blame my PTSd and depression on her choice not to fight. Live is precious. Its worth anything to fight for your life. If treatment is there, you should strive to take it. Mandy is a fighter and I'm sure all our collective karma and support will help her with her treatment.

I'm sorry you've gotten this news. I am in a similar situation in that a mass in my cervix was discovered after I had abnormal bleeding and I also had a colposcopy. I have a three week trip to Europe planned from 3/20-4/10. My doctor encouraged me to go and said we'll take care of this on 4/17, when I'm scheduled for a complete hysterectomy. I've questioned a million times if I should go or try to rush things to be extra safe, but the best we can do is make choices with the information we have at the time and with the guidance of our medical team. I'm sorry the results didn't support their hopes in your case and I'm wishing you a speedy recovery. ❤

Hi Mandy, i was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. The hardest thing is not knowing and waiting for results, once you know, you will go into fight mode. The treatments today are fantastic and it does not always mean a 'death sentence'. The main thing is you are going to get treated. What its all about is how far your cancer has gone as to the type of treatment. I wish you all the best, you are by the sounds of it a strong positive person and you are still looking well, which in my eyes is very promising. Please remain very positive. You will fight this x
I am someone who will struggle to watch every video, so l will dip in and out. You do what is best for you. If vlogging is helpful then continue. A positive mind can do wonders. All the best 💜

Please look after yourself really well. Do the things you want to do only when you want to do them and try to be really kind to yourself as your feelings are bound to be such a mixture right now. Your worries and love for your loved ones can be so overwhelming right now but you can’t protect them sadly. I’m sure they’ll be strong like you are but you’re all in dreadful shock at the moment. Reach out for help and support for yourself and your loved ones from the many lovely support groups. They can be invaluable. Really hope you can get some sleep for the respite and healing it brings. I’m so sorry you are all suffering so much. ❤

I have only just started to follow you Mandy and I'm already in aww of you and what you are doing. Living in your own van but together with your hubby in his. I'm not sure I could do it but for sure me and mine need a break from each other.
We have a house we live in France and are still together. He has a motorhome he lived in the UK for 8.5 years and I lived here in the house at the same time. So we have been apart but in a different way.
Anyhow. I would like to follow you guys now and wish you all the luck in the world with your medical problems. I'll be following that too. Had my smears done a few months ago after 10 years with none so I guess I'm lucky so far 🤞
You are brave, and honest and I really do hope and pray you can get through this and with a good outcome. you have a wonderful hubby and its clear you wont be doing this alone. I hope one day I'll get to see Portugal too maybe in hubby's motorhome with our little JRT Herbie whos now 12 y/o.

If your at Western Park Hospital, our house is 5mins walk from there. So if you want you could use our driveway to park when you have to go, as parking around the hospital its self is a bit of a nightmare in a car, in a van it would be worse.
