You continue to stun me Mandy as does John. You are both handling this difficult time with incredible attitudes. I wish you both more little adventures out and much happiness ❤
Goodness girl don’t expect to much, you’ve had major surgery and sepsis so I think you are doing amazing, slow and sure will see you get yourself back to fitness. It does take time and must be frustrating but you are looking good, hugs to you both and take care 💚xx
I love you video and journey, I send you a big virtual hug. I had a little scare with my partner with low blood pressure but only in hospital for 3-4 hours and then sent home. xx❤❤
So lovely to see you Mandy, take each day at a time and you will soon recover from all your setbacks. You’re looking brighter every day, love to you both xx
Keep going it will be worth it ...sometimes u have to find ur limits and then work it out from base . Thinking of u Johns an angel . Prayers🙏 for u both .
Pacing yourself and knowing when you have done enough can be hard when you just want to get back to feeling ok again. Four weeks out from the surgery is no time at all, so keep doing your best. Lots of love, you do look amazing ❤
You are doing amazingly don’t push yourself too hard slow is best than over doing it and having a set back Sending hugs my lovely and hope we see you again soon x Suzy and ewen
So pleased your feeling a bit better Mandy- as someone else has said this too will pass - give yourself time and be gentle with yourself ❤and hopefully, before you know it you'll be back to your normal self ❤
So glad to see you Mandy. Have to say this, the harder you push the longer the recovery, seen it, seen it, seen it however saying that there is nothing worse than cabin fever eh petal. Every day is a step closer to getting back your life. Take very good care and see you in the next one.
Take your time getting better, no need to rush. It's nice to know you're on the up now. Such a lovely honest lady with an absolute angel of a partner, we wish you well for the future and let the awful times pass. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, just take it steady. Hugs ❤❤❤❤
I make myself a smoothie every morning, to cover the most important nutrients of the day. I believe in saturating myself with good stuff as I'm getting older. I was thinking that it might be helpful for you to take a food supplement like AG1, since it is so easy to prepare, and could help you with your recovery and sustain your health in the long term. I love you Mandy. Suzane 🥰
If you're still in the area and you fancy a return trip to Falmouth, try Ploy Thai - head towards the town from Pizza Express, look for a little bookshop on the corner and follow that road down. Best Thai food for miles!
So glad to see your colour returning to normal and you’re up and moving! Hurrah! It’s gunna be a slower recovery but you can do it…. I have faith in you. ❤ from Saskatchewan Canada,in a little village of Plenty.
I love my PJ’s. You stay in them if you want to. You be you, don’t do too much and recover slowly. So glad you are feeling well enough to Shower, vlog etc. Baby steps. Cx
Oh bless you both…poop n scoop is the last thing you both needed! Hope your both improving soon…in a happier place and mending soon. Have you tired any ginseng supplements or food…I find it marvellous for all sorts of things. Tummy settling, anxiety, sleeping it seems to be an amazing thing… You could use the in-store mobility scooters or wheelchairs, all tge supmarkets have them ask at customer services for the key or chair… Take it easy, and get better….please.👍🇬🇧
Hari OM How unfortunate about that take away affecting you both - glad it was relatively short-term. That air fryer 'quiche' looks good - will be trying that out! Continue taking care, m'dear... YAM xx
Take care dear Mandy, all will be well soon. I know from experience, 2 big surgeries 6 weeks apart. A belly wrap is wonderful and then get yourself some support pants, they give such comfort and you become more active. Sending very big hugs and many healing wishes, ❤️🙏🏻
Four weeks into recovery for what you have been through isn’t long.Be patient and kind to yourself (I know you will) and you will get there in the end and this will all be a horrible memory. Onwards and upwards (with lots of rest). Wishing you the best & take care xx
" Don't rush things now, easy does it ", I tell myself each morning, oh, and mellow ... and you, don't give yourself grief about us out here, we know how things have been ... so ... "mellow" ... ❤️xx
Thank you, Thank you, thank you Mandy-- for this latest video! Brilliant!! Well done!! Please continue to take it one day at a time. ❤ to you and John. Continued prayers for you for healing and recovery.
listen to ur body, it will tell u ur limits, its still early days, its so lovely seeing u up and enjoying life, small steps big hugs from scotland, xxx
It is so lovely to see you! You are doing amazing after a life threatening illness and major surgery. Give yourself grace, please, to take the time you need. ❤
Give yourself a break Mandy after all you've been through this year. Listen to your body as i suspect it wants a lot more than 4 weeks to recover. Healthy food, lots of water, fresh air and rest.
Great to see you x don’t go too mad x listen to your body n it’s limitations x don’t ever want you going back over x loving your memories about Cooper I was crying laughing x you n sh1t seem to go hand in hand x luvs n hugs to both of you xx
Great to see you up and about Mandy ….don’t be too hard on yourself it’s still early days… ps you look fab in your PJs wish I loved that good first thing x
For someone who has been thru your ordeal, you look great! I feel John's pain with shopping. Since my wife started chemo I have done the shopping. I am a commando shopper. In and out, don't look at anything but what I am there for. I take the shopping list organize it! You have been in my prayers
I felt like you after my hysterctomy although it wasn't as straightforward as we expected but some women were like 'i was back at work in 2 weeks'. But i felt I had to do what they did. But 6 weeks down the line I was still like jelly. The GP said 'you silly girl' (rude!) 'It was a major op-you are looking at 6months to a year'. Sooo frustrating. But I pushed and ended with fibro. For 14 years I have had that. I pushed to far too fast. It knackered my thyroid and I nearly died because i ignored it. Then the menopause kicked in. You not only had a major major op, you had sepsis all on top of the cancer. Easy does it. Getting healthy is slow after all you been through. Bodies are amazing but they have limits my GP told me. If you want to sleep its because your body is saying 'I heal better when I am sleeping'. So just go with it. That belt looks brilliant too. Just keep plodding...there is no rush. Sending gentle hugs and healing down from Devon.❤
So good to see your blog pop up. I think you are doing extremely well. Four weeks for recovery is not a long time for what you have been through. It is good to keep moving as much as you can but not to the point where you are exhausted. I think “they” usually say to do what you can do. Every little bit is helpful. I wish you would tell me again what you said and take for restless leg. I would like to try it. So good to see you out for your walk and not have rain. Slow and sure wins the race. Take care.
I've recently had surgery and to be honest would love a take away but am paranoid about bugs and germs so we are cooking until I am completely healed up because of my stitches, I have a low immune system so catch anything and everything , hope you recover soon you poor thing ,you really have been through it .
Keep calm and inch along for now, Mandy. It will soon turn into feet, yards and miles (other units are available!). Glad I wasn't eating, btw!! 💕🙏 to you both, Laura
Hope you see this a wee bit of advice as a sepsis survivor when you go shopping use the mobility scooter they usually have in the bigger tescos and that saves your energy for fun things lol. Don’t rush listen to the drs they know what there talking about I tried to rush it and let’s say it didn’t end well it knocked me right back.♥️♥️♥️
Hi Mandy, It was so lovely to see you posted a video& u are really looking so much better 🤗 Mandy, u have been through so much day by day step by step & u will get there always thinking of you sending u hugs 💖👍Lin
Steady as you go now Mandy. I'm very pleased with your progress. If you're thinking about food then you must be getting better 😂. Enjoy your walking, it's so good for building your strength up, but don't do a mandy and over do it eh. Thanks for the update, and well done John for all your efforts. Take care both. 👋🇬🇧🇪🇺🇺🇦☕️
Heading in the right direction. Good to see you mandy take care. Going down to Cornwall next weekend for a few weeks. Keep my eyes peeled for you & John!!
Mandy please take your time. Don't try to rush it . I know its frustrating but it is a time thing. It takes time to accustom your self to the changes that have happened to you. Frustrating as hell. Please don't over do it. xx❤
Sorry to hear you'd both been sick as well! Oh dear but easy nutritious salads, food and soups and you'll recover your cell health quicker. Lot of water and rest. Wishing you well.
Hello my lovely ! Good to see you looking much brighter . Pace yourself , listen to your body, slow and steady wins the race. Bits of normality are slowly returning for you, everything will improve Mandy, trust me. Sending you lots of love xx❤️❤️
So glad you’re improving day by day and almost finished the antibiotics! We’re in Cornwall too for a fortnight in our static near to Perranporth. Carry on the good work, John too 😊
Mandy - remember it's ONLY 4 weeks since your operation and everything you've gone through, I really feel for you but as my great grandfather said (he lived to 102) 'moderation in everything' I can't imagine how frustrating this must be, but give yourself a break and think of it as baby steps. You and John know best, don't forget that and ignore all our comments. Hugs to you both, G xx
If you are looking for a soft, cool pillowcase, I find bamboo or Lyocell nice. M&S have some, which i wouldn't say are cheap, they aren't too expensive either, and cheaper than most others I have seen. And as it's a proper shop you can feel it before buying.
It’s going to take time to recover Mandy, don’t try to push yourself too quickly, it’ll take as long as it takes! What you’ve just gone through is quite traumatic for your body, if you push too hard too quick it’ll let you know it’s time to rest. So when it’s telling you to rest bl**dy well rest! Take care mandy
You continue to stun me Mandy as does John. You are both handling this difficult time with incredible attitudes. I wish you both more little adventures out and much happiness ❤
As hard as it is.. this too shall pass. Give yourself time. It’s so lovely to see you liking a lot brighter ❤ love to you both

So great to see you looking a lot better. Take your time and rest plenty. You certainly didn't need food poisoning as well xx
Really hope you feel better soon Mandy so you can get back to a normal day to day thing xx
Goodness girl don’t expect to much, you’ve had major surgery and sepsis so I think you are doing amazing, slow and sure will see you get yourself back to fitness. It does take time and must be frustrating but you are looking good, hugs to you both and take care 💚xx
