5:32 Pathogenesis is the process by which a disease or disorder develops, including the factors that contribute to its onset, progression, and maintenance. The word comes from the Ancient Greek words πάθος meaning "suffering, disease" and γένεσις meaning "creation". Pathogenesis involves investigating the biological events, mechanisms, and circumstances that occur when a disease infects an individual, colonizes, and possibly spreads to other areas of the body. This includes identifying the pathogen, how the individual was exposed to it, and the biological processes that allow the pathogen to infect the individual.
If I'm not wrong, I believe Subverse is out in Early Access. Which I think was meant to be basically Mass Effect but with a lot of kinky shit? Or well, like, *more* kinky shit.
Well, the reason why we can't be more like the Asari is that if we could mind-meld with each other, stupidity would spread faster and would become a plague.
The Asari religion is cool as all of their gods are pretty much just Protheans in disguise also Liara has a half sister that is half Hanar (she gets told by her dad in ME3)
The Asari are basically space-elves - with all the scheming, backstabbing, and extreme-long-term plotting that comes with that. In other words, they're exactly how we WOULD be if we could live for a millenium. I'm convinced life-span is the only thing stopping us from being like that, so we have to settle for relatively short-term plotting, instead.
Great video as usual but F now I have to go look up a video and Asari religion, think it would have been better if you had included a short break down for those who haven't played ME thanks again ^π^
Honestly Mordin's explanation of "neurochemical" doesn't really cut it for me. Of course it's neurochemical, all feelings are. Also, it can't be the result of a long time of interbreeding with other species, because the "Athame" mural shows that they looked pretty much the same in their bronze/iron age equivalent as they do now. My theory is, I think it's got something to do with their biotics. Like it's just a biotics version of how pheromones are perceived in popular culture. There's already precedent for biotic mind-fuckery in Dominate, the ability that just makes you unable to distinguish who's your ally or enemy. It's not at all inconceivable that a species with natural biotic abilities (to the extent that any asari can learn them just by training) would evolve something like that, as just a passive thing that's always on.
My theory was instead it was them literally borrowing perceived or understood traits via mind-melding, in essence their bodies have the ability to convert traits perceived or understood by one or both of the participants the asari considers good directly into new genetic code that is incorporated into a child.
My favorite Asari side character is the mom you come across talking about her kids she had with a Krogen and how their personalities take after their father. After hearing her it made me want to see two little Asari kids fighting each other with those big Krogen war hammers.

Yesss!!!! I was hoping we’d get some Mass Effect Wiki Weekends with the trilogy remaster coming out next month
17:45
Well think about what humans can do in peak condition, like Usain Bolt. Yet most of us are content to just jog for a bit and call it a day.
Nisha said in a previous video that she likes the movie Spirit. They're coming out with a second one In May: Spirit Untamed
By the Goddess....it's finally here
5:32 Pathogenesis is the process by which a disease or disorder develops, including the factors that contribute to its onset, progression, and maintenance.
Should have read about Asari religion, probably forgot about their link to the Protheans
If I'm not wrong, I believe Subverse is out in Early Access. Which I think was meant to be basically Mass Effect but with a lot of kinky shit? Or well, like, *more* kinky shit.
3:15 Engineer Ken Donnelly has a line about that in the second game. He says he’d like to spend his last years in an Asari retirement home.
🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍 great awesome video keep up the good work on your channel loving it
Salarians can get over emotional trauma in the span of like an hour. Damn I wish I had that
Here's hoping we get another Mass Effect video tomorrow to celebrate Legendary Edition
Imagine how badass the asari that Shepard and Liara would have would be
Wasn't expecting an invincible reference at 16:59 a year before the show released
Yooo, when do the awesome shirts come out? I kinda forgot lmao, but I put in a pre-order the day you made the video on it
Technically Andromeda was an exploratory mission... so they could easily ignore it ^_^
"Fuck you, Mass Effect: Andromeda!"
Asari are basically Lizard People;
Shower Thoughts;
"Anyone who romanced Liara T'soni is basically a furry now."
I'm loving the gaffed up green screens these days!
Come on, you KNOW Blast-O was drowning in Asari head fringe.
Well, the reason why we can't be more like the Asari is that if we could mind-meld with each other, stupidity would spread faster and would become a plague.
The Asari religion is cool as all of their gods are pretty much just Protheans in disguise also Liara has a half sister that is half Hanar (she gets told by her dad in ME3)
Also you should do one on the protheans video but also if you listens to Liara’s mother slept with hanar and they she has one with the hanar
Swift like for the vid being about mass effect
Being a Krogan would be awesome. I would totally go for an Asari partner, or even a human one. Damnit I’m calling for Krogsonas! Lmao
death by mind snu-snu
The Asari are basically space-elves - with all the scheming, backstabbing, and extreme-long-term plotting that comes with that. In other words, they're exactly how we WOULD be if we could live for a millenium. I'm convinced life-span is the only thing stopping us from being like that, so we have to settle for relatively short-term plotting, instead.
Great video as usual but F now I have to go look up a video and Asari religion, think it would have been better if you had included a short break down for those who haven't played ME
thanks again ^π^
