Simply put, I'd have the allies/enemies/victims of Ocelot interviewed about their experience with the man, but I wouldn't get "his side" of the story though. I'd keep him in the shadows like he is in the games. I wouldn't even have him show his face on camera... until the very end. That's where I'd have the closing credits rolled out over footage of Ocelot living comfortably (cigar in hand/whiskey) and having him "react" to clips of the interviews in the documentary.. (think Jordan laughing at Payton in The Last Dance) Edit: Before the idjits say anything about "hE aLrEaDY dIeD" try to remember... This is Revolver Ocelot we're talking about. ANYTHING is possible 😂

MGS4 is all about accepting the end of the old, tired cycles and breaking new ground. That's why snakes "lightning in the rain" quote is so memorable, because he sees raiden has the opportunity to break out of the endless battle that snake lives with, like lightning in the rain. Its over the top with the artistic imagery and metaphors, but thats mgs for you.

Kinda surprised the short demo hidden in mgs 3 where you play as a Dracula like character and butcher a bunch of werewolves and demons wasnt talked about. It takes place after the torture scene and you're put in the prison cell. Was a really fun part regardless.
Well, Solid Snake went to Alaska as Dog sledding sherpa after the Zansibar Land Incident (Metal Gear 2) Thats where they find him to recruit him for the Shadow Moses Mission (Metal Gear Solid) So.... there's a nice little connection there and it's probably the reason for Big Bosses codec line in MGS3. A nice fan service easter egg Also: I remember this one playthrough of MGS3 where I just went back and forth into the same area to respawn a Tarantula and make Snake eat it until he LOVED it XD

Another thing you can do in the original game, is when you find the wolf cub that's hanging around, if you use a box and wait long enough, the wolf pup pees on the box, and if you ever have that box equipped, no wolves attack you.

I was honestly not a fan of the series until I played Phantom Pain all the way through, and I was sold. Metal Gear is such an awesome series. I've now finished all of them except the nes games and the first PS1 game. I really wish Phantom Pain could've been completed. It was an amazing game that just needed a few more missions, and I fell in love with Quiet. She felt like an actual teammate in combat and had an awesome backstory.
In the original PS2 release of MGS3 if you save the game after losing your eye (and being placed back in your cell) then restart the console it will load in to a nightmare scenario in which you fight off vampires. This was removed in the HD remake unfortunately.
