I’ve tasted many different meats cooked on the spit, grill and bbq 🍖…dad’s influence! Anyhooo…charred smokey meat 🥩 must be present in our instinctual craving genes 🧬🤣🤣…or mine anyway!!
Browning meats and onions 🧅 creates such an amazing depth of flavour…that’s ‘endorphins’ right there and then, starting with the sizzling and smell!

In the past 6months or so, here in Oz…potatoes have become soooo expensive!! 😮
My son and hubby just worked all weekend to build a waist high potato 🥔 patch, it’s huge and exciting. It’s one crop we’ve never bothered planting because it was so cheap and available.
