I sewed on my JukiTL2010q using a size 4 stitch length, a size 16 needle, and Gutermaan Mara 120 thread (from Wawak).

I love this pattern. I have made six of these bags with all kinds of cork and vinyls. What I love about using the bag, is while it’s not a big bag, it opens up,fully and seems to hold everything I would have in a much bigger bag.

I cut my dart notches out when I cut my cork pieces for the bag, and because of that, it was easy to place the corner pieces on correctly. Just a tip.
Love this.."what ever" and "roll with it". That is a great attitude sewing should be fun.

Do you do all your sewing on your Juki? You show so many leather or leather looking makes, that seem impossible with a home Juki machine…. I find your tutorials so full of information and great tips and your patterns awesome. 👍
Hi, I use all cork almost 100% of the time. I don’t see any leather at all! All on my juki!

Usually I always glue or tape my zippers in to keep them where I want them!

What tool do you use for your edge paint? I don't like the wooden rod thing I have..
I think if you search “edge paint applicator tool” it’ll show up! It’s so much easier than the wooden dowel!

Just curious…the container for your colored edge paint…is it a contact lens case? If so, what a nifty idea!
It is! I can’t take credit for it, someone in my sewing group posted about it and it works so well!
If you clip the darts in the front overlay corners when you first cut them out, it would help to minimize the confusion when assembling the bag.

Feeling stupid---I finally got around to starting this pattern and can't find the extra corner pieces. Are they in the pattern?
Such a great video! I didn't realize svg files could have been purchased with the pattern. Any way I can still purchase just the svg files, I purchased the pattern a couple days ago. I wish I would have watched the video before I started cutting and sewing mine. I picked up lots of tips I never caught even though I read the pattern over before cutting. I checked for a video as I was interested in how you had sewn in the zipper since the bag was curved and how you ended the tail. You explained and showed it so well in the video. I have two clutches started, hopefully will finish them tomorrow.

Great video! How do you finish your raw edge on the crossbody strap?
I use a quick layer on base coat or modpodge to seal the edge!
