This car certainly needed choking at times...temperamental! Loved watching you pump it while cranking, hearing the difference in sound between cranking with clutch in and out (sounded like the battery was low and/or the starter had had enough), and last but not least, your furry arms and hands :) All of these are hot and get me excited!!
Is that an old metro? My wife used to own one in the 80s. Unfortunately she's such a hard driver it gave up after two years. I used to feel sorry for it when she used to drive me to work in the mornings. She was soooo hard on the gas pedal and clutch
Hi Baz, we both can’t believe she won’t flood if you pull out the choke and wait , I’m in my 50’s and driven quite a few cars with a choke and none of them would do what the metro does , we also can’t believe we’ll never get to come and see the cortina ☹️, you should try a cold start WITHOUT CHOKE , looking forward to it eventually 😂 , take care as always hun , Wendy and Graeme xxx
