The camera isn't doing it justice. Driving in a white out is sjit and can not be adviced for those who haven't tried it. Human eyes contra a camera do not really adjust to the shine from a white out. Wish you all good, be carefull. Greetings from 🇩🇰.

@@alextidstrom Yeah, i have no doubt it was awful, like we say on good Danish "puha"(crap) i do not envy you those hours. Day almost if not makes it worse, can't describe the shine on here but you can't see sjit, visability is something like 10meters or less even.
For a bit of perspective, what he can see in real life is about half of what we can see in the camera when he turns on all the high beams. I grew up with this weather (MI, USA) and it's no joke. I would not want to drive a semi/lorry in that crap because you really can't drive one of those slow enough to be truely safe in that weather.
I do want to ask, what type of snow is this ? Fluffy ? Heavy wet ? Or that granular tiny pellet stuff that can't make up it's mind whether it's snow or ice (aka the worst stuff on earth).
@@nerdgarage -16.C, good chance or more like a bet that it is "dry" snow similar to the latter. At -16 the humidity is very low. Dry and cold. I don't know if they are tiny, i don't think so, but they are more ice than water
@@shades2.183 You're right. I hadn't considered the temperature. So the snow is likely to be dust which while not the same as the tiny pellet horror can produce a very similar effect like driving on grease. [shudder]

In Friday!( Italy) it was so big fog, the visibility was 20 meters with 60kmh. I was driving 50-65kmh, depending on fog dents, other truckers was driving like 80-90.. i was thinking to myself WTF WTF bro. When car pass by me it was few meters and you couldn't see him anymore, i was thinking what if some of those cars get crash and then a truck hit them with 90kmh....

det jag skrev en tidigare video med kall ruta när det snöar funkade inte haha men med ruta värmare på och full blast på rutan med fläkten och bara köra torkarna när man knappt ser nått för då är det mäst bara vatten på rutan, då fryser inte torkarna ihop lika fort. behövde inte stanna nån gång på en resa på 25 mil med snö kaos :)
Nae precis det funkar bra! Hade dock bara en liten rand och vill inte sitta ångbastu pga det i 50 mil 😄 men fryser det mycket på rutan äre värt!

Undrar på om det finns inställningar på kameran som ger en mer naturlig bild på hur utsikten i verkligheten är genom framrutan. Kanske mindre fps eller nånting. Vädret är ju för jävligt hörs tydligen men kameran verkar "titta genom " skiten. Kanske der var något för Scania att testa? Kamera för bättre utsyn i skitväder?

I like your video but this one was bad.. you were more concentrated on talking than driving. weather wasn't good but it's even harder to oriented in it when you are not switching off your high beams on on coming traffic. Next time pleas switch your high beam of when some one is in oposit line or are overtking you. And stay safe!
