You guys crack me up! Im 50 and will always go with the V8. Just a different feel. Keep up the great work!!
Good Morning ☕️ Happy Mother's Day to everybody's mothers
2 cars i would love to have, for 2 entirely different reasons. I do prefer the classic rock one.
V8 - Front engine - Rear wheel drive - Manual - End of conversation 🤠🇺🇸
Roman just buy the Integra Type S, old man seats with all the Type R stuff
13:00 pop the hizzle killed me😂😂
Great show, guys! Thanks for the garage chat.
Honestly just depends on the case use. I’ve had the Mustang (previous model) regular GT and it was great as a straight line performer but my family didn’t fit in and my track tires were like a jenga puzzle to get in the car. owning the Type R now, I can put my family in it or a set of track tires and as duel purpose car it’s amazing.
Family is what prevents me from having a fast coupe.
I have the Integra-S. Love it.
Is what I always loved to set up my very old FA5 Si.
Great metaphor Nathan!
I was cross shopping these 2 cars and found a perfect middle ground for the same price after stealership markups. Got the CT4 Blackwing at MSRP and I never looked back.
FYI, the NASCAR Cup
Series cars since last year now use 5 speed sequential manual transaxles with IRS. And, on most of the ovals and of course the road/street courses, they shift on every lap. Just not on the fastest “superspeedway” tracks.
My son has a 2020 Tacoma that he bought for 35k and 4 years later a dealer was offering him 32k. He didn’t sell it because of the new Tacoma being 55k for a TRD Off-road.
Depends on what you value more.
Lateral forces(CTR) or Longitudinal forces (GT).
But if you can afford it you get both.
DarkHorse + Handling Pkg
Does the mini john cooper works compete against the civic R ?
The auto mustang might appeal to more buyers in general and make it resell quickly, but it's less appealing for enthusiasts and it will lose out on being sold at a premium to the enthusiasts who want a manual. Remember, it doesn't matter how many people want an auto, it only takes one person to buy the car.
It's the same issue with colors. Drab grayscale colors are easier to sell in theory, but buyers can just pick the lowest offer on the several thousand in that color. Get something bright and loud like green or red, less people will be interested but theres going to be someone REALLY excited to have that red and they'll have to come to you and your price point.
Exclusivity is the Type R for sure, unless V8's are outlawed, which won't happen anytime soon.
Two fantastic engines!
Performance and power..THE STANG!
Same stats as the eco boost but they give no love to that makes no sense! If you drive the eco boost its hella fun 🤷♂️
What these reviewers will never tell you is in the real world the Type R is wayyyyy more expensive. Can get a base 5.0 with discounts for $38k and at times 0% interest. Meanwhile Type R you'll pay $50k and at this time 8% interest. You can do the math but a few hundred month different in pricing. You'll also have to get on your hands and knees at Honda beg to even get that pricing
We’ll be happy to tell you that. Have you seen our community pages with viewers sending in crazy market adjustment pricing?
Today is easier to find a CTR at MSRP than months ago. The average is $5K according to a tracking site that lists the inventory.
What these reviewers will never tell you is that the only 2024 mustang that out handles CTR is the Dark Horse with the handling pkg. That costs a LOT more than a CTR.
The GT Premium with performance pkg and magneride is in the 55K without any other addon. That comes close to a CTR but isn't better. Even the Integra Type S is cheaper.
In other words. The GT base is a cool car if you only care to smash the gas pedal to the floor occasionally in straight roads.
If you want to take curvy roads with confidence and speed you will have to pay more.
@@Marbind Hey bozo the 🤡 I was just talking price not handling LMAO. I don't care if sucked D to get MSRP for type R either you're disgusting. You want a car that can handle you get the SS1LE not mustang or civic. The mustang is good for making power 1000 hp stock engine. The civic is good for overheating and understeering. No modded Type R or GT can keep up with my stock SS1LE on track period
Which Honda dealer? msrp? here in cali wants 5k over or more. Thanks.
Twins GR86/BRZ would be another competitor
Just get a low mileage GEN6 Camaro SS 1LE, or Mach 1 with the handling package.
Tommy’s -WIFE?? 😮 When did that happen??
Blue everyone is trying to copy hydro blue. My RR is velocity Blue which is ford's version
Pearl Jam vs Lynyrd skynyrd
something about the screens on the Mustang just bugs me. it is okay for the entertainment system but the gauge screen bugs me it just looks like they planted a tablet screen on the dash. just not liking it and I want real guages.
Ford Mustang GT for me
Worth noting that that type r is significantly more expensive than a Elantra n and base model gr Corolla. For 30+% more money it better be a better track car.
Better interior and practically than both of those too.
The screens are pretty upsetting.
I would expect the after market to have gauge clusters that replace the screen behind the steering column. I can’t stand the all digital either.
And your Mind Very Prehistorical
I prefer what Ram did in 2019, with real analog gauges and a customizable screen in between the gauges as well as a very clear high res 8” screen set lower in the center of the dash outside of the driver’s view (not distracting) but surrounded by physical switches and knobs for everything. I added a phone cradle beside the steering wheel for GPS/map directions so I didn’t have to look over to the screen while driving.
Screens can be good if done right, but replacing everything with screens defeats the idea of keeping your eyes on the road and using tactile feel and memory to change things while driving.
Y’all need to breath… it’s like your favorite pass time is complaining… it’s so boring, don’t y’all get bored being ornery?
@@LafemmebearMusic Or maybe it's many different people complaining just once.
Checking in from just north of Rockford (glockford).....
Type R is just much more special 💯
Ford Mustang GT
What happened to the chin on that 24? Needs some force lol
Base doesn’t come with splitter. Performance Package and Dark Horse do
@@S650Ryan yeah the 21 base has more chin;)
I teetered between the two. Ultimately Mustang won. If it was a daily driver then maybe but Mustang is better than you think once you drive it.
Did he say the integra type S has a different powertrain to the Civic type R? You guys need help with your car coverage, thats bad.
Clearly cars aren't their strongest skill.
They need someone in the team.
Is exactly the same powertrain the only thing that changes is the tune.
Acura recommends 93oct. Honda recommends 91oct on their CTR.
The Acura tune has a wider powerband. Making more power earlier than the Civic. Also uses less boost thanks to the higher octane calibration.
6-1.... are your legs and torso proportionate? Lol
The infotainment set up with two big screens just glued to the dash, worst design ever! Love mustang but cmon man looks so cheap ! Like the engineers just gave up! Can't be beat for speed bang for your buck!
Often wrong Roman strikes again. 50.15 stomps around after he says nascars are automatic. Changes topic as Nathan schools him. Should have been Nathan and Cole, Roman on the camera.
Add some emojis or something to show humor🙃-Unless you were intentionally being boorish🙄⁉
☕1st...Have a good day everybody ✌️
Too bad the tradition Mustang Buyers CAN NOT afford $45k PLUS huge dealer addons getting to $50k
BUT please make MORE FREE HYPE videos so dealers THINK they can charge more
As a mid aged man, I love to have a type R but it's a boy racer car. That's why I have a Camaro SS.
In this case I would say it's kind of the opposite. The FL5 looks a lot more mature and sleek than it's predecessor.
The last Camaro looks it came straight out of Transformers.
The interior on the Mustang is horrendous!
Besides for the price, it’s a very hard comparison. The sound of the Mustang is incredible but the tasks of everyday life make the CTR a better choice. The Mustang is basically a 2 seater.
Personally, I’d only get the Mustang if I had dumb money and would want something with a V8 and RWD. I’d rather get a Integra Type S because of the styling and luxury features.
Nice comparison, but I cringe every time I see you guys leaning against the cars.
The screens are AWFUL. It’s a GT Mustang! Put analog dials with a digital cluster for telematics but to have two huge ugly screens in that car kills the vibe for me.
You m kw this is the base so its two scree mns but the premium has one long one
Most manuals were puchased because the auto was to expensive of an option
Depends back in the day manuals were either for economy or performance. I'm modern cars automatic transmission have erased that deficit and on the really performance oriented you have the dual clutch option
Nathan didn’t seem like himself, especially at the beginning of the video. Hope he’s ok.
Get a BMW..u get performance and power
Get the mustang if you give zero F**ks about driving dynamics
Adults will gravitate towards the Mustang. The kids will favor the Honda. Both are good cars.
No longer true. Many of the "kids" who grew up with Hondas are now in their 30's-40's with money
bunch of cope automatic sports cars are lame idc if its .4 seconds faster
Yeah stupid Ferrari and Porsche using automatics.
