@@rodanandme Thaat too! But when it comes to battling I do feel that the wackiness of having someone fly at full speed from a finisher during an intense serious battle is kind of like how a random hilarious side story pops in between the dramatic main story missions
Yakuza 6’s physics were fucking wild, enemies would just start fucking spinning and flying into space. I’m gonna miss the Dragon Engine’s physics, I hope they still keep them in the next engine (which i think will be coming after Infinite Wealth)
I love juggling in this game with the engine. I never played the judgments because not on gamepass, i also found a nice combo starter for juggling. [Dragon style] Light heavy charged heavy, this will be the launcher, on blocking enemys charge the first heavy to break stance. swap to agent. Light, light. This will push them higher in the air to open more options. At this point you can comtinue in agent for the full combo or switch back to dragon and hit 3 or 4 lights and an uncharged heavy.
Yesterday i was fighting the golden samurai on the bridge, i charged a kick in dragon mode and he felt off the bridge, finishing the boss fight instantly. Worth the 50 bucks
thats probably because of the finishers triggering ragdolls which are based on fps so the higher the fps the wonkier the ragdoll might be because as far as i know yakuza 6 (first dragon engine game) was locked to 30fps on ps4 originally and there they worked but as soon as pc came with upwards of 60 fps this just started but thats just a theory...

The kiwami 3,4,5 needs to return and they also git the combat straightened. More fighting styles, juggling combos and same old favorite legendary yakuzas.

The fact there are people saying this a con for the franchise, saying UE is better and prefers the stiffer animations from the older games really upsets me.

I like the floppy ragdoll that's in Gaiden but Istg they nerfed Tiger Drop to oblivion. It's WAY harder to pull off now that I missed it 70% of the time I tried it and just said "fuck it" and rather just go ham on everyone by spamming normal combos.
I played 40 hours and this never happened to me even once. :( I did somehow use the wire in Agent style to toss a guy into the river, but it gave me an Achievement for that But Dragon Engine is for building the game; physics, fighting, etc., are just their own systems the game engine is used to develop. Dragon Engine doesn't determine anything about the fighting itself [obviously, since movesets etc. from much older games in the series are reused]

they had similar knockback in a kiwami cutscene when you fight the nishikiyama family so this is just canon
I was playing Arena and uppercutted someone so hard he flew out of the arena into the tiger pit and I had to forfeit the fight lol
The ironic thing about this is that kick IRL is relativly weak, meaning that Kiryu must not skip leg day to make it hurt like that.
