Honestly moving away from seasons and to Operations has killed all momentum for the game. Season 5 was a MASSIVE boon for the game and caused a massive resurgence and then they almost immediately abandoned the game for the most part and it genuinely feels like we're back fo season 1 where we get barely any new armor outside of the store. Spartan point costs need to be drastically reduced and the exchange needs to rotate weekly or daily and have potential for store items to be in it
Well the most important thing would be good servers for pvp again. Having a constant ping above 100ms or 200ms at best in middle Europe is just ridiculous
since they're still considering more updates to infinite, i think we should get customizable uis and backgrounds, like have the main menu of og halo ce fit in infinites background or halo 3's main menu

After yesterdays news I'm so bloody angry, not surprised but angry. I've been playing halo since ce day 1 release, I stopped playing infinite because I can't stand another empty game, why on earth should I wait for features that were in h2, h3, reach etc on the worlds most powerful console. I will not be buying anything from 343 again. Seeing the way Microsoft has been going around closing studios and generally mismanaging everything they touch I will remove myself to PlayStation only. Thank you halo for the memories, but ultimately you broke my heart as its the only part of my childhood left, now gone forever.

I was playing halo infinite, first time in months by the way, been a player since the beginning of halo combat evolved. Then listened to this video and immediately logged off. The amount of sadness and frustration that runs through my veins to hear this is just sickening. The heads of 343 and Microsoft really destroyed something that so many held dear to their hearts. Halo was so unique and so incredible that it completely transcended gaming and the online gaming community that followed. To disrespect and not hire members who created such a masterpiece that touched so many peoples lives is just disgusting. They even went as far as to create a television show that tainted the image of our beloved universe by not even following the lore. Halo with the original members of bungie really did create something so special and I'm so blessed to have been able to experience their hard working end product. It's shameful that this has happened to Halo and If any of the heads of 343 or Microsoft read this, (which is rare, i know) - gtfo out of the game industry, you obviously don't care about anything other than money which is sad. RIP Halo.

Hey Mint I know this information would be hard to gather, but we all know that a big reason why video game companies aren't producing quality games anymore and have issues is because of upper management however something that also contributes is the shareholders/investors. I haven't seen anyone talk about 343's shareholders/investors and how much they may influence the game and the bad decisions. Most investors are not gamers, they invest in what makes them money so is this something to look into with Halo?

I thought this update would add forgeable vehicle seats. That would mean controllable odst drop pods, drivable elephant, drivable desert bus, and more custom vehicles. Existing odst drop pods are laggy as hell. Also remy there’s a bug with the banshee and wasp, if you press Y or switch weapon fast enough the vehicle weapon switch glitches. That is really annoying when it happens. The desync is fixed for grenades and rockets but not for equipment.

Honestly I'm not fussed with the current state of halo, I'm really enjoying it, and it's the most I've progressed through any of the halo games because I play it a few times every week now
Really sad the "positive" news is a menu change... and some lame modes and again lame cosmetics, careful adding third person going to trigger some 343 knights. I really wish we had actual new content like Helldivers handles it. New weapons,new vehicles, especially with new enemy types shadow dropping into missions. The chaotic battles in Helldivers feel more like a proper Halo spin off game and more Halo than whatever generic ESPORTZ game 343 wants halo to be. Halo NEEDS to be HALO, it's a war not a stuck in simulations playing samurai.
As much as I'm sick of being negative, I can't help but feel we are still missing a lot of previous content other halo games had right off the bat and a lot of this changes are just fixing mistakes that shouldn't have even been there and after years of waiting we should be getting way more than just shop updates, small reworks and fixes.

Good News” in regard to 343 is currently a low bar for me. When they say they’re adding content I expect it to be 3 new and similar looking visors in an $18 bundle. I do play on PC. The game not loading happens and sometimes I get 10 minute bans for leaving games that haven’t even showed player intros or started.
As someone who hasn’t played infinite for the last few months, I still see nothing big enough to come back and invest my time playing. Although there are some positives I see, the negatives out weigh it overall. These smaller operations kill it for me since majority of “content” is locked behind $40 bundles. I want infinite and halo overall to succeed, but these choice 343 is making is killing the franchise for me and many players.
i'm basically done with halo at this point. it's good that they're making a new user interface, but i'd be astonished if the next game is actually worth playing. especially now that they've fired the man who basically MADE the Halo 2 campaign, which is still my favorite campaign of the Halo Saga. he's one of the many staff members who made halo as amazing as it has been, and they've dumped him as if he was unnecessary for future Halo games.
I have uninstalled the game, I couldn't take the servers it was giving me for fiesta modes. Before it was just people that wanted to play fiesta, but now it almost exclusively puts me on high ping, before it was just occasionally that way. I may come back if an update releases, but it's just not fun at all.
Murky information will always stir more drama than it's worth. We always knew Joe wasn't staying on permanently but now many people believe he intended to. This whole issue needs more of a deep exporation and explanation. People (especially in this community) are highly prone to just listen to their favourite creators and not do any independent reading, and plenty of people don't have sources to go to for this elusive data, even though keeping sources secret is reasonable in many cases.

Well the most important thing would be good servers for pvp again. Having a constant ping above 100ms or 200ms at best in middle Europe is just ridiculous
since they're still considering more updates to infinite, i think we should get customizable uis and backgrounds, like have the main menu of og halo ce fit in infinites background or halo 3's main menu
The hardest part is seeing the potential for what the game can be, and not getting the output from development
one thing about multi team is that there's no way to differentiate the different teams... they really need to add the team names between each group while looking at the scoreboard ATLEAST

Junyszek is well known in the halo community as a SNAKE!!!!! This isn't postive just a reminder of what could of and should of been. After yesterdays news I'm so bloody angry, not surprised but angry. I've been playing halo since ce day 1 release, I stopped playing infinite because I can't stand another empty game, why on earth should I wait for features that were in h2, h3, reach etc on the worlds most powerful console. I will not be buying anything from 343 again. Seeing the way Microsoft has been going around closing studios and generally mismanaging everything they touch I will remove myself to PlayStation only. Thank you halo for the memories, but ultimately you broke my heart as its the only part of my childhood left, now gone forever.

I was playing halo infinite, first time in months by the way, been a player since the beginning of halo combat evolved. Then listened to this video and immediately logged off. The amount of sadness and frustration that runs through my veins to hear this is just sickening. The heads of 343 and Microsoft really destroyed something that so many held dear to their hearts. Halo was so unique and so incredible that it completely transcended gaming and the online gaming community that followed. To disrespect and not hire members who created such a masterpiece that touched so many peoples lives is just disgusting. They even went as far as to create a television show that tainted the image of our beloved universe by not even following the lore. Halo with the original members of bungie really did create something so special and I'm so blessed to have been able to experience their hard working end product. It's shameful that this has happened to Halo and If any of the heads of 343 or Microsoft read this, (which is rare, i know) - gtfo out of the game industry, you obviously don't care about anything other than money which is sad. RIP Halo.
According to fans, the Bungie games had significantly better stories than the 343 Industries games. So, why would 343 fire Bungie developers if they were the ones who knew how to make a good Halo story campaign?
Hey Mint I know this information would be hard to gather, but we all know that a big reason why video game companies aren't producing quality games anymore and have issues is because of upper management however something that also contributes is the shareholders/investors. I haven't seen anyone talk about 343's shareholders/investors and how much they may influence the game and the bad decisions. Most investors are not gamers, they invest in what makes them money so is this something to look into with Halo?

I hate to be negative but I have been playing infinite for almost 2 years now and I’ve gotten bored it’s a fun game but none of my friends play it and why play halo if not with buddies I still love halo I just wish games did not take so long to come out like you said get lots of company’s working on that would be awesome love your videos keep it up
I thought this update would add forgeable vehicle seats. That would mean controllable odst drop pods, drivable elephant, drivable desert bus, and more custom vehicles.
Existing odst drop pods are laggy as hell.
Also remy there’s a bug with the banshee and wasp, if you press Y or switch weapon fast enough the vehicle weapon switch glitches. That is really annoying when it happens.
The desync is fixed for grenades and rockets but not for equipment.
Third person mode would be pretty sick. But there's still alot that they're neglecting and too much they're putting into the shop.

Honestly I'm not fussed with the current state of halo, I'm really enjoying it, and it's the most I've progressed through any of the halo games because I play it a few times every week now
So the UI stuff is only for the match composer or do we not know for sure what the extent is?

Really sad the "positive" news is a menu change... and some lame modes and again lame cosmetics, careful adding third person going to trigger some 343 knights. I really wish we had actual new content like Helldivers handles it. New weapons,new vehicles, especially with new enemy types shadow dropping into missions. The chaotic battles in Helldivers feel more like a proper Halo spin off game and more Halo than whatever generic ESPORTZ game 343 wants halo to be. Halo NEEDS to be HALO, it's a war not a stuck in simulations playing samurai.
As much as I'm sick of being negative, I can't help but feel we are still missing a lot of previous content other halo games had right off the bat and a lot of this changes are just fixing mistakes that shouldn't have even been there and after years of waiting we should be getting way more than just shop updates, small reworks and fixes.

Good News” in regard to 343 is currently a low bar for me. When they say they’re adding content I expect it to be 3 new and similar looking visors in an $18 bundle.
I do play on PC. The game not loading happens and sometimes I get 10 minute bans for leaving games that haven’t even showed player intros or started.
As someone who hasn’t played infinite for the last few months, I still see nothing big enough to come back and invest my time playing. Although there are some positives I see, the negatives out weigh it overall. These smaller operations kill it for me since majority of “content” is locked behind $40 bundles. I want infinite and halo overall to succeed, but these choice 343 is making is killing the franchise for me and many players.
i'm basically done with halo at this point. it's good that they're making a new user interface, but i'd be astonished if the next game is actually worth playing. especially now that they've fired the man who basically MADE the Halo 2 campaign, which is still my favorite campaign of the Halo Saga. he's one of the many staff members who made halo as amazing as it has been, and they've dumped him as if he was unnecessary for future Halo games.
I have uninstalled the game, I couldn't take the servers it was giving me for fiesta modes. Before it was just people that wanted to play fiesta, but now it almost exclusively puts me on high ping, before it was just occasionally that way.
I may come back if an update releases, but it's just not fun at all.
Murky information will always stir more drama than it's worth. We always knew Joe wasn't staying on permanently but now many people believe he intended to. This whole issue needs more of a deep exporation and explanation. People (especially in this community) are highly prone to just listen to their favourite creators and not do any independent reading, and plenty of people don't have sources to go to for this elusive data, even though keeping sources secret is reasonable in many cases.
I love halo I have like 3 shelves filled with expensive halo collectibles…. But duck halo infinite rn and fuck anything 343 and Microsoft does in the foreseeable future

Nothing will change. Everyone is going to be disappointed again and again and again. They don’t have the calibre to make a great game like Halo CE. They are just a bunch of mediocre people. Mediocrity is the new best!
