this is an experimental track and is inspired by the fable the tortoise and the hare that talks exactly about respecting your time because in the end the tortoise wins the race hahahaha one of my favorite tracks in all the boys discography definitely! The Tortoise and the Hare is one of the hidden favorites in most stays opinion. They create slow/fast raps and slow/fast beats and the lyrics to be storytelling about the tale The Tortoise and the Hare. Honestly it’s the most creative song I’ve heard in kpop.
This is the kind of song that would grow on you the more you listen to it, until it becomes an addiction. My first reaction to it was just as yours, I couldn't wrap my head around it but it blowed my mind thinking of how they just casually produced a track on a fable with a moral, using all kinds of wordplay ( if you pay more attention there are quite alot ) and how they sang "slow slow slow" in the fastest way possible, then "quick quick" with a slow rythm. Plus the experimental "bizzar" beat is just insane. I can't even call them talented. They are straight out bunch of geniuses. The song is one of the many reasons I had no chance but to stan these guys 🙏
Yes same!! When I listened this song for the first time I was thinking its quite strange but why so many people like it...then I listened to it 2 3 times more and now I randomly just start humming this tune...the more I listen this song it gets better every time

Heungbu is kind and hardworking, but Nolbu is rich and lazy, and spends all his time playing rather than working. Lee Know (in the guise of the tortoise) is saying "I don't want to go fast, I'm just gonna play like Nolbu".
