And then these Kids fell on me... And I was able to breathe again without reminding myself that it was necessary. Now, in anticipation of the New Year, I can even rejoice.
Fun fact: Chan was taking recommendation on what skz song to play in his live on vlive. Someone proposed "The tortoise and the hare" and another comment said "It is a bad song". Chan explained that since it was experimental song ofc some people didn't like it, since it was quite different. Then Chan played the whole song vibing to it and at the end he said "To the ones who didn't like it, you mad? You mad,bro?"

The Tortoise and the Hare is an amazing song, really surprising. It was experimental and it keeps on getting hate. I love it. Time Out it's like a hug to me. I'm quitting my job, just finished part of my studies and I'm moving to other country. I needed someone to tell me I can take a breath and relax for a while. Since I know them, every time they drop songs, somehow it's when I needed them.

This song is a trip. I love it. Hyunjin is technically the third fastest 4th gen rapper (tied with Mingi) and 8th fastest kpop rapper, and this isn’t even any of their fastest, it’s just packs a punch from the get go. This one and Side Effects had us fighting for our lives on every platform when they were released. people still bash them, but the word play here is phenomenal and I wish it was better received bc it’s actually amazing.

According to their contents, Han & Changbin have very different personalities. Han is really quick and very colorful. Even during their predebut, Han finished writing his lyrics with several different versions in a short amount of time while Changbin just wrote one lyric. So, Han thought Changbin is too slow and can't understand...and then he eventually learned that Changbin is not that slow but Han is way faster than common people. (Naturally Han is good at free-style rapping) Han did home-schooling since his elementary school years, so he didn't have much social experience and have to learn how to mingle well. Han is also a type of guy not in the box, so he can keep adopting new styles(His rap and vocal styles are versatile and keep changing his styles like a chameleon. Han is born to be creative and intelligent. He didn't get that from some regular training curriculum, he keeps listening and searching by himself to become better) and Changbin said he has learned a lot from Han and he is good at it now or even better than Han(haha). In the other hand, Changbin is a deep thinker. He just stops walking when a sudden inspiration hits him. And he is also really good at bring up unique idea, and Han admires it a lot. So both of them give good influence to the other as a musician, a composer and a human being. Han is a quick guy but he went through deep depressions. (Early 3racha rap music, they expressed the frustration these 3 went through. And, in Han's Slump showed Han's hard time. He was the one who got noticed by JYP, YG and another famous composer during the predebut show, but he felt he didn't improve as much as others and feeling left-behind. Then Chan helped him out to encourage him to make it as a song and Slump was born. According to Seungmin, Han is very fast and good, yet once he collapses, he collapses hard and goes back to zero starting point and feel suffering. For Chan he is a perfectionist. Keep-pushing-himself type of guy. So this song's message is very generally acceptable and works for anybody, but l think this is a song also about that these three accept and comfort each other and themselves. l don't think faster means in bad quality. Fast or slow, both are fine as long as it is their own paces. For Han, he is very quick, but when he feels exhausted and too much drained, he will just go to sleep(everywhere and anytime as soon as he can do this without disturbing others or the group schedule) When Chan and Changbin's thoughts are different and can't find the middle, they will go to their own zones, and during that time, Han would make two different versions that one fits Chan's idea and the other Changbin's and then he will go to these two and say let's listen and see how they are. So, important things are accepting, respecting and understanding others and their ways. So everybody can do their best in their own best zone as much as possible. Yeah, one hundred percent agreed! Faster doesn't always mean bad, I was generalizing as far as everyone wanting things done as soon as possible or bragging about quantity while quality could be lacking, but some just operate at a different level and do things at crazy speeds, so there are definitely levels to this. I have been binged watching all your Stray kids reaction from the start and I just want to say you are my fave when it comes to reacting to their music, I am a new Stay just over 2 months and I like that I feel welcomed in the community. I have been following stray kids since late 2019 and they are my first love of k-pop so they are special to me, so I can understand how they helped you and many many other stay fans during dark days. Took me about 1 year before I ventured out to other k-pop groups but so glad I did. But Stray Kids especial this year have been my light when my world was full of darkness . I am sorry you had some dark times as well but so glad that you were able to endure and hopefully your days are brighter. I was really looking forward to their concert even have floor seating but unfortunately as luck was not on my side they have postponed my concert. I was worried for the boys being sick more but also sad at the same time I wont get to see them live this year. I fear it will be next year before they reschedule since they are so busy. They say everything happens for a reason so i try to remind myself of this and be happy. Hopefully i will eventually get to see them live.

The Tortoise and the Hare is such a gem and its such experimental and I loveeee when that happens. The sound goes very mayeb late 90's early 2000s experimental tecno and I get why people, specially younger, dont like it. But my god is sooo good, and the lyrics, the rapping, the voices. IN and Seungmin voice going very low, specially IN with his Busan accent when he says ppallie like a tortoise will say ppallie is a little satisfaction to my ears tbh. Omg yesss thank u for the Dexter reference I get you. And I think the lyrics is like maybe a critic to the the modern times and even to their own generation (gen Z) that u don't have to rush everything cos lets be honest Gen Z attention spam is of 5 or 10 seconds

I just watched all your skz reactions and i really loved them. You don't just watch the music videos but you really think about what you see and hear and share your thoughts with us. Interpreting lyrics/videos is always hard for me because i absolutely can't read between the lines, like i only understand what is literally said/shown to me, which i hate because i feel like i can't appreciate the song appropriately. So i'm kind of dependent on other peoples interpretations and your thoughts about the songs amaze me so much. Whether they are "correct" or not doesn't really matter -besides there's no really right or wrong in interpreting- but it just makes me realize how much thoughts are behind the lyrics/visuals on screen and what they could mean or represent. Skz is honestly incredible! Time Out was a gift to us to celebrate our birthday (the birthday of the fandom name). It was a complete surprise! Brand new song and MV with the meaning it has... Skz never stops showing how much they love and appreciate us. We have also been begging for a rock concept and they gifted us this amazing song WITH Felix singing (which we always want more of) !!! It's just a warm hug lol. They even filmed this MV in America (looks like California) during their tour.
I love how simple Time Out is, it just makes me feel happy for no reason. It's cute how they got inspiration to write it on a mini vacation they took before Maniac promotion started, I guess they had a really good time. Also all the sounds like laughter and beach waves were extracted from the videos they took on that trip.

I have been following stray kids since late 2019 and they are my first love of k-pop so they are special to me, so I can understand how they helped you and many many other stay fans during dark days. Took me about 1 year before I ventured out to other k-pop groups but so glad I did. But Stray Kids especial this year have been my light when my world was full of darkness . I am sorry you had some dark times as well but so glad that you were able to endure and hopefully your days are brighter. I was really looking forward to their concert even have floor seating but unfortunately as luck was not on my side they have postponed my concert. I was worried for the boys being sick more but also sad at the same time I wont get to see them live this year. I fear it will be next year before they reschedule since they are so busy. They say everything happens for a reason so i try to remind myself of this and be happy. Hopefully i will eventually get to see them live.

The Tortoise and the Hare is such a gem and its such experimental and I loveeee when that happens. The sound goes very mayeb late 90's early 2000s experimental tecno and I get why people, specially younger, dont like it. But my god is sooo good, and the lyrics, the rapping, the voices. IN and Seungmin voice going very low, specially IN with his Busan accent when he says ppallie like a tortoise will say ppallie is a little satisfaction to my ears tbh.

I love Time Out! It's such a fun song with a great message to just take a break and have fun

2. The Tortoise and the Hare is definitely one of my favourite songs, I clicked right away when I saw you reacted to it. The music, the singing, the lyrics and message, everything is just PERFECT to me. I'm suffering a lot in this "fast" world, even tho I'm a very dynamic person ^^'' so I feel this lyrics in my bones xD
I'm a bit sad the song is not that popular 'cause it would feel so good if a non conventional song like that (in the Kpop world, I mean) popped regularly in their albums. I'm still satisfied with what they do generally speaking, tho.

4. Time Out is more a "Californian Rock" sound, I commented somewhere else that it wasn't my type and would not listen to it on my own, but still, it's not bad at all... Right after The Tortoise and the Hare it's just too soft for me xD But like you said, the celebration here is what that matters, and it's touching.

I just watched all your skz reactions and i really loved them. You don't just watch the music videos but you really think about what you see and hear and share your thoughts with us. Interpreting lyrics/videos is always hard for me because i absolutely can't read between the lines, like i only understand what is literally said/shown to me, which i hate because i feel like i can't appreciate the song appropriately. So i'm kind of dependent on other peoples interpretations and your thoughts about the songs amaze me so much. Whether they are "correct" or not doesn't really matter -besides there's no really right or wrong in interpreting- but it just makes me realize how much thoughts are behind the lyrics/visuals on screen and what they could mean or represent. So yeah, thanks for sharing your opinions and for reacting to my favourite boys ♡
If you haven't seen them before, i recommend All In, Scars, Levanter or the "trilogy" Mixtape: On Track, B Me and Mixtape: 애. The music videos are just so good and of course the songs are amazing too (though all of their song are haha)

Skz is honestly incredible! Time Out was a gift to us to celebrate our birthday (the birthday of the fandom name). It was a complete surprise! Brand new song and MV with the meaning it has... Skz never stops showing how much they love and appreciate us. We have also been begging for a rock concept and they gifted us this amazing song WITH Felix singing (which we always want more of) !!! It's just a warm hug lol.
They even filmed this MV in America (looks like California) during their tour.
I love how simple Time Out is, it just makes me feel happy for no reason.
It's cute how they got inspiration to write it on a mini vacation they took before Maniac promotion started, I guess they had a really good time.
Also all the sounds like laughter and beach waves were extracted from the videos they took on that trip.
