I notice that you never edit your singing or record it separately. It is always done right after a long speech and it is flawless as usual. You are amazing dude.
Is no one gonna talk about how soothing his speaking voice is? I was learning how to sing but I also felt like I was listening to a public service anouncement in an elevator or an intercom.
God bless you guys for putting these up for people that have no idea what they're doing, but REALLY want to learn to "make a joyful noise," like me. :)
Man!!! I'm reaching my high notes way easier with an open throat. My usual higher note is a G#4 and now I've just sang a Bb4 flawlessly! Thanks so much, Mr. Leo.
Please don't give up making like this videos you really helped us You're more than vocal coach You're psy doctor, because you make me stick and believe i can really sing and I don't lost my chance to be a great singer in the future. Thanks Justin for encouraging us ♥️ "If you Belivet you can do it "
I just wonder what leo di Caprio is doing teaching Singing Lessons? Anyway, Your are the best I could found on the internet, keep going Sir Love your content
Hi Justin, I really really need help with wobbly voice. I feel like I've got the vocal power and have tried many approaches on breath support but that non musical unintended vibrato has never ever been gone in my singing. Thank you so much for your videos and you are the biggest mind opening vocal coach in my life! Ever.. so I would really like to listen to your advice regarding this.
Honestly, just from singing correctly for around 7 or 8 months, I've learned I can sing with an open throat naturally with all the other ins and outs of the different aspects you talked about. I don't know what it is, but after singing for a short time I realized these things you demonstrated you could mess up on I would have to mess up with on purpose.
*_this frame looks wonderful it even seems I can sing better seeing the tips in this angle._* _Panoramic sir._ *The photography sounds like open eyes and the throat is angelically open.*
Well, It's been 2 years since I started having interest on singing and trying random vocal exercises that I find on youtube but my voice I hate it. Any help from where should I start and how should I do it on a daily basis? and also every time I try to sing I feel dryness in my mouth and throat...
HI Raj! We hope you keep singing! Here are a few episodes we recommend checking out: Episode 81, and Episodes 98 and 99. Those are great ones to get you started! -NYVC
After months and years on so many videos for learning stuffs, including singing, but not only. This is the first time I am posting a comment. Because this video, your channel, you, are so incredible. I can not say enough thanks you! Perfectly explained, simplified but still true. And demonstrated, also. You're changing my life by helping me (and so many other) to reach a dream! Singing! And yes, with an open mind to learn, understand, experiment, play, express and always, be versatile and agile.
Im downloading this video just in case if it gets deleted. Newbie singers this is pretty much what you need to learn and master when you get into intermediate level at singing. Thank you Justin.
Wow, this is really key. My voice has improved Like night and day. Just wow.. And love that you sang björn and Bennys anthem with tommy körberg as singer. My favorite singer alive.
Hi new york voc academy, i wanna ask , what do u think sing with too many riffs and runs, cause some singer did that, some times i think that's super great cause they're full of technic as a singer, but sometimes so annoying cause i think the singer just "showing off" ..
I'm not from the New York Vocal Coaching but what I can tell you is that riffs and runs are done in a stylistic context, and not to compensate for a lack of creativity and/or ability of a singer. Latter part is all too common, riffs and runs have become sort of one with famous pop singers and people try too hard to imitate it without understanding the context of its usage in a piece and vocal type.
I'm deeply grateful for your message, for your energy, for your face, passion and knowledge. I'm singing just as great and free as Prince :D Thanks a lot. God bless you !
I sing with my head voice because I feel it is the closest to my speaking tone and I feel more comfortable and flexible, is there anything wrong with that or I should rather use my deeper(throat/body) tone more?
This “Justin” character is quite the delight. My goodness, yes. A delight, indeed. Highly amusing, and entertaining. In addition, Justin has an easy-to-follow approach which holds the viewers eyes and ears. Not to mention, the humorous examples, such as the ‘Squidward’ / Edvard Munch portrait, is the height of hilarity.
How do I growl? I have seen and heard sooooo many bass singers and vocal ragne videos, where they say "growl". I want to sing as deep as Avi Kaplan or Tim Foust and I suppose, that this is the only way to reach that goal.
Justin, you always bring so much passion to these videos, I enjoy watching them a lot! And the visuals and effects are great. Thank you for making these informative and super helpful videos! :)
Imagine making videos on all these aweaome topics and in stead of asking doubts in comments everyone is saying how he looks like the guy from titanic 😂😂🤣🤣
Thank you so much. Amazing content. I have had difficulties with loosening the jaw. Have had tension for many years. What could you suggest? I also had muscle tension dysphonia for a long period of time but now it seems that I am back on track. I also started taking vocal lessons and vocal teacher is focusing on developing my powerful voice without singing breathy and using proper diaphragmatic breathing and teaching me to release as much air as possible when I sing because I have difficulties to hit right pitch and I sound little bit breathy. Also working on correct placement because many times I sing from throat but sometimes I hit the right pitch and sound good . I have been using my vocal muscles incorrectly for many years and now we try to reverse it. Is that the proper way have to start to sing again? Maybe any suggestions? Thank you so much !
