What we usually want from a radial basis function is for it to be what is called positive definite. Bochner’s theorem tells us that this means that the Fourier transform should be positive. However, polynomials don’t have well defined Fourier transforms, at least not defined as functions. So that rules out your example.
Hello there with due respect , here is my sop for phd admission My Statement of purpose (SOP) I want to get admission in this institute because I am doing my research focusing on science specially in physics to find more on renewable energy . I will work on that field with consistency and continuity with the past for the new idea invented and implemented remaining in the mainstream of research within the security framework and green technology relaying on that in space research. My contribution will be on writing good research paper ,designing simulation to find experiment for practical implementation and also to find the efficient way and reduce errors in system where it will be more appropriate.I will try to make estimate on cost to get fund my marketing the idea while it will in on the way to finalize the research outcome. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also here is my video on the concept I like to do research theses and the abstract. ruclips.net/video/Tr2EDPhlrlk/видео.html Transparent thin film solar cell epitaxial growth induced by using laser beam holographic patterning and monitoring using reflection high energy electron diffraction (RHEED) Abstract: Transparent thin film solar cell can be defined as the solar cell mechanism which will be grown using thin film epitaxial growth on any transparent substrate like glass or tranperent polymer optical fiber and become transparent to transmit solar energy while storing solar photon energy as photo electron like any photo electric cell and which can be used to generate power supply in the portable electronic device such as plds and other peripheral satellite instrument . It’s good that you have a clearly stated goal. However, the English in the SOP is rather poor, and this will reflect badly on you. “Specially” isn’t actually a word, for instance. I would be careful about laying out your anticipated contributions here, because that’s not likely the precise outcomes they are looking for. What would be better is to find someone on the faculty at the university you are applying to who already works on these problems or closely aligned problems. You don’t ever do a PhD alone, you must work with a PhD adviser. It would also help to explain your own background. I.e. “I received my bachelors degree from the University of Albuquerque…” etc.
Thank you.
Very informative and great explanation.
Thank you
Thank you!!! Great help
You’re welcome!
Really helpful. one more thing, is it helpful to approach the professors?
@@raotouqeer9052 yes. It can make a big difference to have someone pulling for you on the other side
Hello dear!
Plz help me.
why f(r)=r^2 is not an rbf?

0:12, hard to believe you were terrible at writing???...
I was terrible. Overly flourishy, repetitive language, and generally inefficient. It wasn’t until my postdoc years where it was beaten out of me.
