    The driver's side high beam light has been been flickering on my 2012 Honda Civic LX sedan. I thought it would be an easy fix to simply replace the bulb but my car's headlight bulbs do not look anything like the factory Honda bulbs. It was after watching your video that I realized that a previous owner aparently installed an LED headlight upgrade to my Civic. It took watching your video for me to realize this. Thank you for your help!

    Not so simple huh! But I’m impressed that you were able to figure out what to remove in order to get to it. And that is exactly how it’s done. Good job!

      Fredrick Giles when running the wires to the fuse box, push the rubber piece in the fire wall out of the way rather than taking it off completely. Dont ground them straight to the battery. And connect power into accessory.

    I have the exact same car so thanks to your video I just bought the same light for my Civic and can’t wait until they come. Did you need to buy warning cancellers for yours?

      You just pull it straight up and it pops out. It’s pops back into place no screws required

      Led's are polar sensitive i.e. + must match + and - must match - cant be + with - try rotating the connector 180⁰

    So its just plug in and go ?

    • @FredrickGiles
      @FredrickGiles  6 лет назад

      jayjremix yeah super simple, some mounting of the fuse box attached to the light if you want to, or find a place and tuck it in. They are bright and work flawlessly.

    Nobody who is installing these bulbs cares about blinding the incoming traffic, there is no beam pattern for this LED bulbs, I tried three types, none of them gives the beam pattern which comes from halogen bulbs, light is all over the place, lot of glare. If you want to do a good job install projectors inside. Also color temperature is around 6000 k which is not so good, you should go 5000 and down to 4300k.

      I must say I agree, I am actively searching for a different solution, because they are bright. I feel bad for others when I drive at night.

      @@FredrickGiles try Hikari, I would try them too, heard is good stuff, still 6000k but good beam pattern

      You need to purchase the thinner ones, which are similar to halogen, throws out a more direct beam, not spread out like these ones, found some on ebay by the brand of Auxito, www.ebay.com.au/itm/2X-AUXITO-H7-LED-Headlight-High-Beam-Globes-6500K-Conversion-Globes-Driving-Lamp/173973909827
