    Toss a shop rag in the chock before you roll the bike in and it comes out much easier.

    I’ve been looking for this video for a long time, unfortunately it came to me a bit late because I decided to buy another vehicle, but I’ve been wanting to get myself into motorcycle track days and also, buy the Maverick. Time will tell if this setup is still the one for me as well. Great video!

      Dang a little late, what did you end up getting?

      2017 Forester. Kind of in the same vibe as a Mav but SUV. It has a tow hitch which is good for the bike towing shenanigans and somewhat off-road capability once you put a lift kit and A/T tires to it. I might trade it in for the Maverick in the future because I like that truck a lot, checks all the marks I need in a vehicle at the moment. I’ll keep an eye on your channel to see any updates on that little truck, and on the bike racing side also

    Thanks for sharing. I'll never need rear seating in a truck. Such a shame the Maverick isn't offered in a small cab 6' bed option. F150, 3 bed lengths offered. Ranger, I believe, 2 bed lengths offered. Love the mpg's, lower price tag and don't need a full or mid sized truck for my needs. Do it Ford. People would buy this platform/option too.

      Yea it would be nice to have the longer bed. I’m really liking the storage in the back, it would almost be better to just take out the rear seat though.

    Noice Scout!
    Just don't do the usual "After a few beers we don't need the ramp I'll just dump the clutch to get the front wheel up..." trick. It always results in a dented tail gate! Hahaha...
    Swet mini-camp set-up as well buddy!

      😂 so true, who needs nice tailgates 🤷🏻‍♂️ just giter done!

    You would be surprised all the uses you can find for a small 4x8 or 5x8 trailer and you can pick on up at most farm stores for around $1200. Makes loading much easier and safer and they are still small enough to go through mcd's drive through. :^)

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  Месяц назад

      Yea I have a few small trailers and I agree you can really get a lot in them. My thoughts are better fuel mileage and driving at normal speeds on the freeway without a trailer

    I just wish they made the 4k tow package for the hybrid maverick. It's limited to 2k, and I find the truck is butt ugly. I'm willing to sacrifice looks for utility... but at 2k tow I might as well buy a hybrid car and get a trailer.

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  25 дней назад

      Yea a 4k would make a huge difference, I’d like to tow a small travel trailer but 2k ain’t cutting it

    Have you tried 2 sport bikes? Wondering if my Ninja 300 and R6 would fit.

      @ScoutsOut  Месяц назад

      I think if you didn’t use the big stands I’m using you could fit them in it would just be tight

    • @ScoutsOut
      @ScoutsOut  Месяц назад +1

      Haha yup, 1500 in the bed is all I get lol

      @1000750 Месяц назад +1

      @@ScoutsOut actually 1500 is pretty good you’re not going to max out with 2 bikes and extras.
