We keep freeze dried fruits around always for the kiddos. That's their year round candy, since we only make candy a couple times per year. They love it.

Do they call that Strawberry watermelon because it tastes like strawberry? Are you going to have seeds on your website for the Strawberry watermelon? I plan on freeze drying my Sugar Baby watermelon when it is ready to harvest. Lemon watermelon does not sound good to me, strawberry banana sounds good.
Just to let you know, i've grown both sugar baby and crimson sweet watermelons. They both have the same amount of seeds inside but crimson sweet is a larger melon (25lbs) so actually less seeds compared to sugar baby.
Can the seeds be roasted and eaten? This freeze dry has me thinking about other fruit that would be bomb if freeze dried. Like grapes… I wonder if they would be good. I’m obsessed with peaches right now. I wonder if they would taste good freeze dried.
Go read the reviews on strawberry watermelon at Baker Creek online. People complaining about a ton of seeds in these watermelons.... enough that they won't grow it again because they made eating the melon too difficult.
Hello, the recipe is not step-by-step. Are you saying you freeze them for so long and then I don’t know you said you said something outside and then you freeze I don’t know is not clear to me anyways.

I just took out freeze dried watermelon this morning. Delicious! Tastes like candy!
