Agree, they are beautiful. I think all pepper plants are beautiful. Especially if you dont prune them and just let them grow and bush out. So beautiful.
@@karenl7786 Nope. Just let them grow. You might need to put a few support sticks in until the wood up at the base, but they will bush out all on their own. Mind you, if you do not prune them, the peppers will be smaller, but there will be more of them, and they will be tasty.
Picked some this morning! (Only 1 plant, yours are stunningly beautiful). Agree, with the backdrop of a sugar maple and Firebush (just starting to turn color) it was poetic, this morning. My grandma just put them in a vinegar cruet and poured vinegar over them. We left the peppers in the cruet and just kept refilling with vinegar until no more flavor. A must have for cooked greens and pinto beans. You are correct, it is a special flavor, all its own. This years harvest is the first I have had in over 20 years. I open the lid and smell mine every few days-perfume to me now- makes me hungry for spinach. 2 gift bottles waiting for Christmas. It is that special.
Going To Get Me Some Of Your Tabasco Seed For Next Year! Can't Hardly Wait Until They Get Ready!!!! Can't Wait To Dive In On The Video And Learn How To Make Pepper Sauce Also!! Mrs.H. You Are A Doll!!! Much Love and Blessings
tabasco hot sauce and chilie pepper comes from a city in mexico called tabasco anda some one brought the seeds from tabasco mexico to grow and well the rest is history as they say
My Cayenne peppers I drew. I grew two different varieties of cayenne peppers. They were amazing so many just a perfect year. It’s funny how God gives you a great harvest to last you a few years the job on the Tabasco girl.
We love your channel... We watch on TV and I don't get a chance to comment. I'll be doing better. Your peppers are amazing. I'd love to have a jar of pickled peppers. I love them in old jars, reminds me of my big Mama's peppers. Thank you so much for your family friendly channel...
Reminds me of my grove peppers. They bush out about 5 ft tall and wide and are already 7 years old but I saved seed from a 20 year old plant that is like a hedge.
We're moving some of our peppers inside to overwinter! Chinese five color, fish peppers... Saved seeds for our poblano, serrano, jalapeno, cubanelle, and bells. 😊
I felt bad harvesting my habanero peppers. They were little balls of sunsets on a big green bush. My serrano peppers were beautiful too. The salsa is plentiful in my home now. Happy hubby is key.
Yes, they are beautiful. I am going to try to over winter protect my Trinidadian scorpion plant. Hot as heck with only a small bit needed to bring the heat. The plant grew so well in a Dollar tree small planter and looks as though it still wants to make peppers even with these cool nights.
i believe the leaves are medicinal as well as the fruit. i’ll have to look that up to be sure but if my memory is right they are good n good for you. ❤
Hi🖐🏾 I am watching you while cleaning and a question hit me… Do you have hard water? I am caught between rain water and tap water. Rain in 7A has been little to none. I do not water my garden with tap water because it is hard and can make roots waterproof which can make roots waterproof & prevent water absorption . My harvest this year has been enough for preserving seeds mostly because of lack of rain. I appreciate your opinion and have added more rain barrels to my garden but I have decided to do an experiment…! Tap water veggies vs rain water veggies and see what the results will be! This issue has been bothering me and I am losing harvest because of indecision. Thank You for listening and sharing all of your blessings and experience 🙏🏽👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Your harvest is wonderful, but I don't envy your task of making tabasco sauce. Such a strong smell, but so worth it. Are you going to pickle any of them??
Are you able to grow garden all year long where you are? it would be nice to be able to do so, I just did up the last of my summer gardening, I have some things for my fall garden but no tomatoes since we've already had our first frost.
I grew some tabascos first time this year. Yes! Very pretty. Peppers are a little small though. Do you ferment them? I usually heat up my fermented pickle brine. Then use them for pepper sauce. Do you over-winter them?

Yes, Mrs. H I will be tuning in because we have so many peppers and we got the seeds from Homestead Heart and they're gorgeous 😍 🎉

You can make a tea with the leaves and cook the leaves like greens. You can look up the medicinal benefits.
I don't think anyone could find beautiful peppers like yours in the grocery store! They look great Mrs. Heart!!
I had some of these last year. Very prolific and beautiful. I had no idea what they were called though. Thank you for the video.
Exactly. I only make dill and bread and butter pickles every other year. 😊
I agree they are absolutely beautiful❤

Looking forward to the pepper sauce!
Pepper sauce has always sat on the table. It's my earliest memories and I won't eat greens without it. I just refill the bottle of vinegar.

Hi there and good morning ☺️I would love to know the results of your experiment! Good day to you.
Those would be so yummy on a sandwich, we do spicy over here lol
Will you keep your plants dormant over winter and let them grow again next year?

What are you planting now.
Anyone out there ever replant a dormant pepper plant???? I just learned about this from an older family friend & going to try it!
What’s the difference between Tabasco sauce and pepper sauce?
