HDD cooling is bad. Especially if you place an SSD very close to the HDD circuit. The cooling of the power supply is bad. In front of the PSU air intake grill is the HDD and some cables. Cooling of RAM module 1 is bad. It is close to the CPU heatsink where it can get very hot. The processor cooler is probably enough for the i3-6100 (51W TDP), but don't try to replace it with a more powerful one! (65W or above)
I think that board has a LGA1151 socket.I was wondering if I could put there a Xeon E3-1220V5?
Is it possible to install a second 3.5" hdd in the 5.25" bay right below the slim dvd drive?
will need to check again, haven’t taken a look inside of the D756 in a while 😉

yes it’s possible. look for a low profile graphic card. you should find in amazon or ebay. some of the nvidia cards come with the low profile bracket so you can easily install them in an SFF PC

The best low profile card for now is gtx 1650

No, they don't fit and tdp is way too high. If you need a budget gaming pc, look for midi towers like P756/757. If you need any gpu you can use a gt 1030 for example.
