There are many documentaries on youtube about the amazing 50+ year career of Judith Durham and The Seekers. Judith faced many tragedies throughout her life including the early death of her husband, a near fatal car crash and a brain hemorrhage during their final Golden Jubilee Tour. She came back every time and stayed positive throughout her live even completing the Tour one year later. Watch all you can and learn all you can of the Seekers. Your life will be better for it. God Bless

Judith was one of the greatest voices of the 60s and amazingly she lost nothing into her 70's. She could sing them all as if she was 20 when she was 50 years older. I am heartbroken that she left us. She was really special. Really. Listen to A World of Our Own and Georgy Girl.

Besides this beautiful and proud Australian lady Judith Durham of "The Seekers." There is another beautiful Australian woman who died today at 73 years age "Ms. Olivia Newton John." Our prayers go out to both of them to their families and friends. They both will be missed tremendously... For they left an indelible legacy that generations to come will come to enjoy and know. They gave the world so much joy and happiness with their music, songs and grace. God Bless them both...

You kids are having so much fun exploring music that it's contagious and there is no disrespect my using kids as I'm 71. I first saw one of your Roy Orbison videos and I thought you had a lot of appreciation for world class voices. While I was listening to you I was thinking if they like incredible voices I wonder what they would think of the greatest female voice of the 60s - Judith Durham. Didn't wonder long because after Roy I scrolled over about 6 items and there you were doing one of my top 10 favorites ever, I Know I'll Never Find Another You. I liked the lady saying "you guys had the best music" because I couldn't agree more. I became a music fan on February 9, 1964 when the Beatles phenomenon exploded changing literally everything from music to haircuts to thinking. I've heard a lot since the '60s and I feel lucky to have been born when I was because roughly '64 to '75 was the most creative and varied period of music ever and I got to experience it first hand. Keep up the good work. Your reaction to Weird Al's Eat It was hilarious.

Yes, it is sooooo sad Judith Durham passed away last year…. Exactly like you said, a voice like no other’s, gone. It is incredible to know about Judith, though, she had a very serious lung disease for many, MANY years, yet she was able to produce that pitch-perfect singing voice. They continued to sing and give concerts up until a couple of years ago, sounding EXACTLY like they did back in the sixties. Uncanny. Remarkable. I appreciate your “take” or response to music such as the Seeker’s… there is far too much “music” out there today (now I sound like MY parents!) that has NOTHING melodic, curse words, pain and anguish, no happiness or positivity…that seems that disappears from everyone’s memory within a year or so. Don’t get me wrong, there is some music these days def worth listening to, downloading, hearing in concerts, but not nearly enough to warrant being considered a classic. I love that young people like yourself (I’m 71 yrs old and grew-up with The Beatles, Stones, and later my fav, John Denver 😢) hear and then appreciate the beauty of well-written and performed songs! I absolutely LOVED YOUR RESPONSE to hearing “I’ll Never Find Another You”! It literally brought tears to my eyes today! Keep doing what you’re doing by exploring the “oldies” and truly loving them! My Best Wishes, Virginia

We chose this for our beloved mother's service: no song more fitting. My mother was amazing. The following week (this January) I attended the funeral of a dear client in the same venue. It was tough, esp as her children had stood up less than 5 weeks earlier and farewelled their father. But I was not expecting this song to be played during the slideshow. It was SO hard, but another lady worthy of it.
I grew up with this song. And I loved The Seekers.

Recorded (in one take if I'm not mistaken) at the famous Apple studio in London. I think it's part of why a lot of people at the time presumed they were part of the British Invasion. They quickly corrected people by proudly declaring that they were, actually, Australian. I've always loved Judith's voice, especially in a live performance I saw a while back of the Seekers doing "Waltzing Matilda" (my all time favorite) and "I Am Australian" (written in 1987 by Bruce Woodley of The Seekers and Dobe Newton of The Bushwackers)... both songs are worth checking out, although you may have to look up some of the Aussie lingo afterwards ;)

That's what makes you reactions important...We can't let this music die!!! We have about thirty years of great musicians who are starting to die off, but they have left all this great for us ...

Judith Durhams voice sounded like this till the day she died. I rate her right there alongside Aretha Franklin. We can only imagine the concert they are having together in heaven.

Two million Aussie and American soldiers in Vietnam loved Judith. The Seekers played for the guys in combat zones. RIP Judith.

Another part of my growing up in London in the 60s. They were so popular at the time. She seemed a lovely lady too.

RIP Judith. It’s been a sad time with the passing of such legendary Aussie artists. Today I heard that Olivia-Newton John of Grease fame has also passed away. RIP also too Olivia 🕊🕊🇦🇺🇦🇺
