There are many documentaries on youtube about the amazing 50+ year career of Judith Durham and The Seekers. Judith faced many tragedies throughout her life including the early death of her husband, a near fatal car crash and a brain hemorrhage during their final Golden Jubilee Tour. She came back every time and stayed positive throughout her live even completing the Tour one year later. Watch all you can and learn all you can of the Seekers. Your life will be better for it. God Bless
Judith was one of the greatest voices of the 60s and amazingly she lost nothing into her 70's. She could sing them all as if she was 20 when she was 50 years older. I am heartbroken that she left us. She was really special. Really. Listen to A World of Our Own and Georgy Girl.

Hi Guys, Love your reactions. You should really give a reaction to the farewell performance of "I am Australian" by the Seekers. It is so heartwarming and emotional. Their voices are incredible in the song! Best wishes to you both, Dave from England.
I remember when this came out in 1964, there were quite a few couples I knew who said this was their special song. Probably still is all these years later.
Fell in love with Judith's voice when I was a kid-- still brings tears to my eyes! (I believe that was shot and. recorded in Abbey Road studios in London.
You kids are having so much fun exploring music that it's contagious and there is no disrespect my using kids as I'm 71. I first saw one of your Roy Orbison videos and I thought you had a lot of appreciation for world class voices. While I was listening to you I was thinking if they like incredible voices I wonder what they would think of the greatest female voice of the 60s - Judith Durham. Didn't wonder long because after Roy I scrolled over about 6 items and there you were doing one of my top 10 favorites ever, I Know I'll Never Find Another You. I liked the lady saying "you guys had the best music" because I couldn't agree more. I became a music fan on February 9, 1964 when the Beatles phenomenon exploded changing literally everything from music to haircuts to thinking. I've heard a lot since the '60s and I feel lucky to have been born when I was because roughly '64 to '75 was the most creative and varied period of music ever and I got to experience it first hand. Yes, it is sooooo sad Judith Durham passed away last year…. Exactly like you said, a voice like no other’s, gone. It is incredible to know about Judith, though, she had a very serious lung disease for many, MANY years, yet she was able to produce that pitch-perfect singing voice. They continued to sing and give concerts up until a couple of years ago, sounding EXACTLY like they did back in the sixties. Uncanny. Remarkable. I appreciate your “take” or response to music such as the Seeker’s… there is far too much “music” out there today (now I sound like MY parents!) that has NOTHING melodic, curse words, pain and anguish, no happiness or positivity…that seems that disappears from everyone’s memory within a year or so. Don’t get me wrong, there is some music these days def worth listening to, downloading, hearing in concerts, but not nearly enough to warrant being considered a classic. I love that young people like yourself (I’m 71 yrs old and grew-up with The Beatles, Stones, and later my fav, John Denver 😢) hear and then appreciate the beauty of well-written and performed songs! I absolutely LOVED YOUR RESPONSE to hearing “I’ll Never Find Another You”! It literally brought tears to my eyes today! Keep doing what you’re doing by exploring the “oldies” and truly loving them!
