1:47:44 - I feel like Chris felt that “we’re buddies” in his core. It completely stopped him mid-sentence and he instinctually went to shake his hand. That’s heartwarming as hell. ❤
that should be an exculsive treat to all the 9 clubbers who buy 9 eps of the 9 club experience! aka EP 10 of the experience… but yeah, i want to hear dr.crobs skate history & i really really really wanna hear rodg go: WWWWEEELLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!
Best intro ever. Rog is gonna be like "we got a very special guest today at the 9 club Chris switch flip Manny Roberts aka the crob" Chris roberts- thanks for having me . big fan of the show.
I've been waiting for this since the show started! Brian is slowly becoming one of my favorites ever. His composure and coolness throughout life makes me so envious. What an amazing role model for the youth of today!
ba still the best 2nd time watching it and still love the guy he is just so true and honest just love him i love any one in the skate board industry that spread love and light
have to get up in a few hours and gonna stay up another one just hear this! love the nine club and BA so much! at 34:55 how many won't get the joke lol
Diving deep, that's why Nine Club is the best. You think you've heard a guy's story, until the Nine Club episode. So many good stories. Love all you guys. Still have an old Savier tee, and Savier keychain bottle opener that came in a box of shoes.
so I've been watching this episode for the last hour. sickest video I've seen from you guys!totally get the feels about a hero of mine coming out. and on top of that he got married on my birthday. such a rad dude.
On my way to catching up with every episode, started a little late. But this stuff is amazing. From old to new. Cracking a Stella everyday watching these episodes. Appreciate everything you guys are doing for skateboarding
Rog did an amazing job with that piece on BA, Such and important msg that needs the spotlight on it so people can be themselves easy to say but not easy for those involved. Amazing job nine club,
Great episode! Met him a few times during Toy Machine and Yeah Right times and he was always super nice. Thanks Brian! Oh and he's right about the Bareback/Generator/Deluxe wood- it is the best.
RE: Deluxe wood - It’s so true. I thought I was delusional or something back when I rode Stereo and Real boards in ‘94-‘96. They had significantly more pop, lasted a long time and felt super solid. Over the many years since then I would hear the same thing via word of mouth and eventually online. It became common knowledge. It sucks that not all board companies have equally as good wood.
Imagine having it all like B.A. does. He's the manly man that most women (and men) want, he's the burly guy that most guys wanna be like, he has skate skills that most skaters wish they had....dude really has it all.
Just imagine if BA ended up on Lakai and had a part in fully flared! This episode is amazing, so stoked to see Brian in a good place. Sickest dude keep killing it BA. Woot Giants fan!
I found his skateboarding as intimidating as it was inspiring. To see that Vice film and this interview to know better the man behind it is a privilege, thank you.
Fantastic episode. BA has been a favorite of mine ever since I started skating in '98. Broke my skatenerd heart a bit that you guys didn't touch on Modus Operandi or Yeah Right though :(
@@andrewolivetreemixing I met him once in a skateshop in Newport Beach, CA when I was 16 once in the middle of the day in like 1996 and no one was really in there.. I was standing there mesmerized by Welcome To Hell playing on the tv which just came out (Thomas' faceplant bail happened behind said skateshop which I saw in person at the demo the previous year) and I hear this deep voice behind me in a british accent say something like "sick ass vid huh mate?" and I turned around and it was Tom fucking Penny and I just said "..Yeah." lol I also once hid around the corner with my friend and watched him and Muska kick flipping and frontside flipping a fire hydrant. 90s socal was surreal times... Hope they get Penny on!
i usually wake up, get my coffee & turn on the 9 club b4 work every monday but my buddy called me SUPER early too see if we not only wanted too skate the parking garage later 2nite cause its raining in philly but told me B.A is on the 9 club. us 9 clubbers couldnt ask 4 a better guest. this 1 is going to be good, here we go! pressing play...
Tom of Finland and skateboarding have also other previous connections: a Finnish skateboard company called Happy Hour did two decks with officially licensed Tom' of Finland art. Nice to hear they've approached BA too. Torilla nähdään! ;)
Absolutely love the show. Appreciate all that you guys do to provide skateboarders with good listening/viewing content. My suggestion for a guest is Randy Colvin. Logistics may possibly prohibit this currently. However, with the extreme level of professionalism showcased weekly by Crob, Rog and Kelly my guess is The Nine Club would make the necessary calls to stoke the audience with this elusive guest. Also, Kelly is rapidly progressing into Ed McMahon-esque status. Thank you all involved with The Show.
THEY FUCKIN DID IT. Thank you 9 Club, thank you Roger, Crob, Kelly, BA. Fucking legends. You've just secured me as a buyer of the nine club experience now. Well deserved, so so rad!!!
I always love watching this beast skate.. it's beautiful! Because I've analyze his style for so long, have you ever seen him do f/s flip tricks? Fs flips, fs shuvs, hardflips, varialheel, fs heel? Not to say he doesn't have them, but you do see b/s variation maneuvers like his legendary 360 flips 🍻Cheers Bri-bri, for being you !!
Good for him. I really dig how honest and self aware he seems. That is a characteristic everyone should strive to encompass within themselves. As a longtime fan of Brian's skating and skating in general, I can sincerely say I am more of a fan of his willingness to be a part of the foundations he's working with and the gnarliness of the beauty to be a badass skater as well as a compassionate human being...regardless of sexuality. Truly inspirational. 👍
His voice burst my subwoofer
Go watch the one with Lil Wayne it sounds like a neverending zipper being pulled.

Chris Roberts looks like every dude who owns an independent skatwshop
5 years later and comment still stands 😂

no offense to crob, but I think BA has the absolute best voice in skateboarding. Crob's close 2nd tho
sounds deeper than johnny depp
The white Barry White?! Lol

Happy Birthday!!
The Nine Club Much love, guys. The show is epic, never a bad episode.
B.A.'s voice should get it's own 4 hour youtube loop, like C-Rob's Switch Flip.

Also have to give credit to Reda. He was the main person behind creating that piece.
I love BA so much, man... he's such an amazing human being and I wish him infinite happiness and blessings.
BA- "Im still gonna skate my ass off" Best thing I"ve heard all year.
30:52 I always wondered what happened in this era of Toy Machine. That was easily my favorite team growing up.
Does Chris Roberts seriously have his courthouse manual playing in the background over and over in every episode lol Classic
+StayEarthly check out MJ’s episode!
Immediately went home and watched Yeah Right after listening to this. Another great episode!
Best dude ever. His video parts changed the way I looked at skating.
I met BA at a girl/chocolate tour in arlington,tx years ago.One of the most genuinely nice dudes I ever met.Cheers!
TheMorbidFlorist yea cause he was attracted to you
The Man nah because he’s cool as fuck

Hocus pocus was my first too
This is amazing! Thanks Brian! 😉
1:28:33 ive always thought the exact same thing. awesome.
When someone yells 'drop the bass!' all BA has to do is start talking.
They had a Jaguar with a blow up doll in the back, I was like, you guys are kinda killin it -BA
“I had a friend name booger”
Yesss! B. Fucking A!!! The best!! I'm so stoked I said last week to get him on and y'all did it! So stoked nine club pullin thru once again!! 🔥

It would be amazing if they could get Tom on. But I don’t know, he’s so elusive I feel he would be reluctant to go on.
@@Xapi3 I read a few years back that he's no longer allowed in the US. 😞😞 He got in some kind of trouble.
Brian Anderson.... TOP 5 OF ALL TIME WITH STYLE!!!
He has been one of my favorite skaters since Welcome to Hell. He has such a smooth style and always has good music for his parts
would watch a part two no doubt! felt like the conversation was gonna keep going
That glorious facial hair tho
Been wating a long time for this one.
Dill in the show would be amazing too.
Love the nine club
Cheers from Peru
also Kelly's table seems a bit wobbly, someone put a sugar packet underneath that thing.
In my hospital bed watching.
Just when I was about to go to bed. Then this video showed up. Well goodbye sleep.
After the steve olson episode this is the best one you guys have done

Great interview
Bring Kareem Campbell to the show baby!
Great start to my morning.
Rog casually dropping the distribution history of Duffs. lmao.
Fantastic episode you guys. BA seems like a really great person and I'm happy that he is finding success.
BA has an incredible radio voice 👌
that was the best welllllll yet
Tom of Finland and skateboarding have also other previous connections: a Finnish skateboard company called Happy Hour did two decks with officially licensed Tom' of Finland art. Nice to hear they've approached BA too.
Torilla nähdään! ;)
67 episodes in 3 weeks and this is the one I wanted to see more than any.
Sick one ! Painting skating all that stuff is so tight.
Get Kevin Bradley on the show
Great episode :) Really enjoyed Brian A.
Another good one! I wish you guys would try to touch base more on video parts. Or mention more about his SOTY

The Biebel comments were hilarious
Legendary how do you snap a board vertically?..
stewietk Powell's boneite (sp?) was notorious for breaking like that
Anybody know what blazers are behind him on the shelf
1:11:30 sounds exactly like Beibel 😂
So great love this
My all-time favorite skater! And I do not say that lightly! He just narrowly edges out Templeton and Reynolds for my top 3.
amazing episode, BA is a legend, I watched the Fourstar SuperChampionFunzone BA section like a milion times
This hit me by surprise! Long Live BA
Good shit lads
THEY FUCKIN DID IT. Thank you 9 Club, thank you Roger, Crob, Kelly, BA. Fucking legends. You've just secured me as a buyer of the nine club experience now. Well deserved, so so rad!!!

He does a hardflip and a frontside flip in Jump off a building.
BA on Anti Hero makes so much sense and he should have been there a long time ago. So great he ended up there.
Now he doesn't have to film parts unless he wants to.
Been skating since I was a kid. Crazy to watch these pros I grew up with getting old. He's 41 now??? Damn
The man, the myth, the legend.
First time I’ve seen Roger a lil’ nervous around a guest. (I love Roger)
