I rode the New Texas Giant back when it was just the Texas Giant in... 2001, and it was rickety and rough but that was kind of part of the charm of it. Rode it again recently and it's so smooth I couldn't believe it! Lol. I also rode the Titan, Batman, and Mr. Freeze and it was definitely my favorite although they were all pretty great.
This is my home park! Also here is my list: 13: La Vibora 12: Wilé Coyote’s Grand Canyon Blaster 11: Mini MineTrain 10: Joker 9: Runaway MineTrain 8: Pandemonium 7: Judge Roy Scream 6: Runaway Mountain 5: Batman: The Ride 4: Titan 3: Shockwave 2: New Texas Giant 1: Mr Freeze: The Coolest Coaster on the Planet
That's a good list! Some of the ones I didn't get to ride I wasn't totally sure where to rank, so it's great seeing insight on that! What's La Vibora like? I agree that Mr. Freeze is really cool, I hope to go to Six Flags St. Louis and ride theirs this year! (Its a lot closer than SFOT because my home park is Worlds of Fun)
@@coastercontent Sorry for the later reply, but La Vibora just flat out sucks. It’s very very rough, (probably even rougher than Runaway MineTrain and Judge Roy combined) it’s very janky, whenever you’re in the transition of going into another turn, your legs get slammed into the seat, and it’s just extremely uncomfortable. I would say just get the credit and never ride it again. (Also I called Mr Freeze that because that was its old name when it went forwards, they changed the name when it went backwards, but it got its old name back)
Of all the ones I rode when I was there in 2016, my favorite was New Texas Giant, followed by Titan, Mr. Freeze: Reverse Blast, Shockwave, Batman: The Ride, Judge Roy Scream, and Runaway Mine Train.
That's a good list. I honestly could have switched Titan and Mr. Freeze and still been happy lol! I really liked them all, and that is a respectable list!
I think you made wise choices prioritizing good seats on your fav coasters over riding every coaster. My ranking will be a little different from most because I like old school rides unless they hurt too much (La Vibora) but also don't mark things down for being clones and for whatever reason happen to love the S&S Free Spin model that many look down on 1. Giant 2. Freeze 3. Shockwave 4. Joker 5. Judge Roy Scream 6. Runaway Mountain 7. Runaway Mine Train 8. Pandemonium 9. Titan (pain & nausea) 10. Mini Mine 11. La Vibora (pain) 12. Aquaman (boring & nausea) 13. Batman (head banging, restraints) DNR Wile E Coyotes Grand Canyon Blaster
When I went I rode everything but joker(I have been on an sns free spin) and the kiddie costar. I would agree with almost everything accept for the mine train. It is sad you were not able to go on it. It was so fun. There is this one part where you go inside and it looks like you’re about to go into the station and then there is a surprise drop and it is so fun.
Titan is smooth. I remember it almost stops in the middle there was a mechanic standing there I asked why it almost stops. He said to limit forces on the train and rails
i remember going to six flags back in the 70's with my mom , 2nd brother, my sister, 3rd brother and myself an i remember KC AND THE SUNSHINE BAND PLAYED THERE THAT EVENING WHATEVER YEAR THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN IM GUESSING 1973 OR 1974 DOES ANYONE REMEMBER WHEN THAT WAS
Definitely Shockwave should be above Batman clone and also above Runaway Mountain. B&M inverts are an okay one and done ride but they are so uncomfortable with those restraints and jerkiness.
Last time I was there was 2004 I still think Titan is the best ride I love Texas Giant but I haven’t rode the new Texas Giant so maybe it is better then Titan
I really liked New Texas Giant, but Titan was really good too! If you get a chance, I'd go back and ride it, its good! Definitely the most forceful there, in my opinion!
The very first time I rode NTG was a night ride during Holiday at the Park. It was stunning.

I agree! All the rides there are really smooth, and RMC's always amaze me at how smooth they are, even on wooden supports!

11: Mini MineTrain

8: Pandemonium
7: Judge Roy Scream

4: Titan
3: Shockwave
2: New Texas Giant

Wow! I didn't know it was that rough! I always wanted to ride a bobsled coaster, so now I know to ride defensively! Thanks!
Gotta love freeze

So fun to find this on RUclips!!! Very well done! 👏 👏👏
You have to be a kid to ride Mini mine train?
Love how you rank loads of rides you didn't even ride. 😂
Lmao, I did my best on those, as I didn't have the time that day!
The brake run on Titan was not in the original design. They added that because people were blacking out on the helix that immediately follows.
youre underatted bro good video
Thank you!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

The worst part of Titan is the lift 😅
You cant really say 'I enjoyed this ride' if you never rode it
Titan is smooth. I remember it almost stops in the middle there was a mechanic standing there I asked why it almost stops. He said to limit forces on the train and rails
Shock wave actually has the record for most G force on any coaster in the world (5.9 Gs).
It does, that's a lot! I didn't know that, thanks for letting me know! I rode it super early in the morning, but I still thought it was a great ride!
I gray out every time I ride it. It’s very unexpected if you ride for the first time

Judge was prettier when it had chase lights! There needs to be some flat rides to compliment it.
your lucky you got on joker when i went it was closed and judge roy scream was my first ride when i was younger
I rode Mini Mine Train without being a kid
Last time I was there was 2004 I still think Titan is the best ride I love Texas Giant but I haven’t rode the new Texas Giant so maybe it is better then Titan

I did Texas giant and titan
New texas giant is 7.5 out of 10
there no elements that go upside down
The bobsled is the most boring ride I’ve ever ridden. It’s the worst ride there.
La Vibora so boring. Needs to be replaced with new family coaster
Real
this list is so great. I agree with all of it except I would switch pandemonium and la vibora just because la vibora is really rough
Thank you! I didn't get a chance to ride La Vibora, so that's something I'll have to experience in the future! Thank you!
