My home town trails!
I dig it. Totally old school trails. Classic Ontario single track. We just don't have the BC terrain here but we still love to ride! Reminds me of ripping around with me mates from high school. Cheers!
yeah it's really not bad other than some of the bridges you have to walk your bike across
At first I didn’t understand why the hate for bridges… I love them… but I get it now. Those bridges suck!
yeah and it's hard to remember which ones are kinda rideable, some of them are, other's aren't!
I used to ride Dalewood into Dan Patterson back in the mid 90s. Had my Klein Rascal with Manitou 2 forks. Crude suspension by today's standards. Dalewood and Fanshawe (back before FCA was legal to ride) were about the only trails around London back then. Thanks for the trip around so many years later. I've just never gotten back out and around since. It's only been 30+ years. HAHA. Maybe I'll scrape up a Saturday/Sunday and give the old trails another rip.
you should check it out again and check out the water tower trails across the road!
As long as you are out and on saddle...it's worth it for sure...
Truth!
Actually looked like a nice trail to just get out. It's always good to ride a variety, because not everything has to be a black diamond or a bike park flow trail.
it's not bad, I can ride my bike to these trails from home and the Water Tower MTB trails are just across the road
Just Manual the bridges. Problem solved. 😆
Just joking.
Nice chill type trail that seems doable with the family.
I appreciate the Trailforks info, as I like to save them to my account, in case I'm in the area.
On that note, do you ever check out 'things to do' when you venture out of town for a ride. It would be cool to know how you can make a day out of it, rather than driving 3 hours just for riding.
🤝👊✌
yeah or just jump over them? lol.
I'd consider this trail easy, but not that easy, lots of punchy rooty climbs that are challenging.
And honestly I don't usually make a day of it, I'm usually trying to minimize my time away from family and other obligations, so it's usually get in and get out! lol
Also, looks like a great place for bank fishing lol, my other sport type hobby
Looked like solid trails! Reminded me of some of the stuff along the Grand River in Brantford!
Wow I drive by here literally everyday for work and had no idea these exist. Nice enough trails it seems if you can stand the bridges
yeah they really aren't that bad, and combined with the Water Tower MTB trails across the road, makes for a good ride!
nice trails
Those bridges seem to only let gravel bikers through 😂 where is the love for mtbers?
maybe, but man with all those roots, it would be hell on a gravel bike!
