Definitely gunna have to try this out this weekend. Put my Trek Marlin 8 G3 to the test. Wish these trails were around when I used to live in ST Thomas, just a few minutes from Dalewood even.
Thanks for the tour Toogy. The footage looks crystal! 👌 you'll have to share your settings sometime; if you haven't already. I gotta bring my gopro with me more often so I can show the kids the deer that I come across. It never happens when I don't have it with me. 😆 By the way, I notice the progress in your riding. You were flying through them trails. 👏👌💪
Thanks man! I use a GoPro 12 set for 5K at 24FPS, I think the biggest factor with how the footage looks is when I render the video in Adobe Premiere I use the highest render settings and a really high bitrate. The file size is HUGE, but I find it holds up to the RUclips compression the best.
Hit those trails yesterday. Really fun and some of those climbs are no joke (note to self, don’t do legs day workout the day before a MTB ride 😂). And oddly enough, I saw no deer yesterday. Definitely gunna go back. Glad to see a MTB trail network in Middlesex county. And I wouldn’t oppose if the trail team implemented a trail use fee like The Pines or Hydrocut if it’ll help improve, expand and keep the trails well maintained.
Looks decent but we used to ride Dalewood up to Dan Paterson and it was really good but some areas are no trespassing now and no one uses them so the trails are gone. The had some crazy hill climbs, very technical riding back in the day. You can still do the Dalewood loop, its pretty rooty and you learn quick how to pick a line, will have to check out the trails. Thanks for the video.
yeah I ride around Dalewood a few times a year, it's right across the road from these trails, it's not very maintained and you have to walk your bike across most of the narrow bridges due to the railings, it's alright, but not great.
That tunnel effect with the trees on Boundary was super cool

Thanks for this! Looks like a good route to take. May be worth the drive in to spend an hour doing a few laps.
I think it's worth it if you are relatively close by

@@ToogyHowser True, I rode Dalewood way back in the mids 90's as well , no bridges or walkways back then you just rode it all.
