+pretorious700 Norm seemed to have a good rapport with her and she was very courteous to a comedy legend. She's not at all an imbecile in the interview.
I think she caught Norm with an amicable hangover. And outside of the scripted intro she seems like a genuine person - Norm's good at spotting that, like kids are
vadagh im glad because he's still writing jokes and touring all year, but i know what ya mean people are stupid hes the funniest cat ever maybe he needs too put out more specials?
+vadagh He may not have the success that he deserves, but he has the success that he wanted. He's a great standup comedian - one of the greatest. That's all he ever really wanted.
Norm is comedy's Bob Dylan. Constantly contradicting himself, never revealing much and when he does it's usually a lie. Nobody is funnier or more interesting.
***** I saw him do stand-up about a month ago. He definitely had jokes about homeless people. Although, when I think about it, I don't think any of the jokes were necessarily at the homeless people's expense. They were more musings. Maybe that's what he means? He'll still joke and talk about anything, but won't TARGET the downtrodden?
He always seem to find any interview inherently absurd and amusing. Like the whole thing's a joke to him. Watch him on B O'Reilly. He's trying not to laugh for no apparent reason. So loveable.
Over the past few months I have been watching.more and more nor,m. I think he may be the most under-rated comic I history and a swell guy and a great Canadian icon! Imho
"Geez, my hat got short shrift." LMAO! When she started talking about Letterman I thought, 'What about the hat? She just said she wants to talk about it.'
Despite creating "fake news", Norm macdonald is anything but fake. He is solid and unwavering in his commitment to better the world of comedy. Having honed the comedic value of honesty with twisting irony, he toys with the fearlessly honest his comedy seems to leave a message in your mind of something Greater than himself or yourself. he makes you smile and think and see life clear and deep. when interviewed he shines genuine, attuned to heartfelt emotion as he recalls his journey through stand up. Norm seems to really care about comedy. And it seems like it really means a lot to him when he talks about being young and seeing or hearing comedians like letterman for the first time and which pushed him into that life and crafting his own stand up comedy. and how he learned along the way became all the wise things he shows in his inestimable wit and how he truly loves comedy, especially stand up, and seems like he truly cares about the future of comedy and helping good comics.
3:00 - '...Letterman and I are not friends, but, you know, we've, uh, um, seen each other socially...' - Norm is the Superman of jokes, and apparently, Letterman is his Kryptonite.
I think that Norm has evolved from being wickedly hilarious and dry to rather amicable and humble. In a way it's sad to see him so timid but there's still a spark of brilliance in everything he says.
"I consider Amy Schumer to be the funniest comedian on the planet" is certainly a funny joke. It's like saying, "I consider Amy Schumer to be the hottest girl on the planet."
I remember coming down from. LSD on an early Sunday morning and seeing this girl much younger on circle square show. I would still be tripping watching these kids singing about god. It was so bizarre.

Amy Schumer.. who is that??
its so funny that he told that joke on the tonight show
This interviewer is extremely skilled, fun, doesn't take herself to serious, and will continue to be extremely successful.
By understanding norms Schumer joke and your comment I feel like I'm part of a small group. It's nice.

A little tip to the ladies
lol
That anchor lady has got to be one of the most pleasant and nice persons I've seen on TV.
canadian.
Warm and personable.
Yeah, it sucks that racial quota policies will make people assume she's a diversity hire. She's great.
we dont get alot of that in canada, were pretty easy going
RE5PUBLICA you have ill intentions

In my opinion, he's one of the greats. Truly a comedian's comedian, not many people talk about his brilliance as much as it should.
Norm has never had the success he deserved. That's the problem with being a comedians comedian.

He's goofing on her and the brain dead Tonight Show audience.
