- On the Kings Birthday Long Weekend 7th - 10th March 2024 Steamrail Victoria visited the northern Victorian city of Shepparton with steam locomotives K183 & K190 to conduct a series of steam shuttles between Shepparton and Tallygaroopna. After a successful weekend its time for the train to head back home to Melbourne.
In this video we chase K183 & K190 on Monday 10th March 2024 as they double-head back towards Melbourne. We start the video as they depart Shepparton and see them again at Arcadia, Murchison East, Nagambie, and arriving into Seymour. After a water-break at Seymour we see the train again at the Broadford s-curves before ending the chase as it starts to get dark at Heathcote Junction.

Super great video. I filmed this train at Broadford Station
Great video mate! the double header was awesome to see, great shots!
What a long weekend that was.
Great footage mate. I was on that trip. The two K Class put on a fantastic performance.
Amazing to see such a long heritage train operating! Amazing Video!
Awesome video man! 👍👍
It’s great to see trains with multiple locos! A quadruple header with K 153, K 163, K 183 and K 190 would be so cool! Great video mate.
Quintuple header if you put K160 with the other 4. Only thing is K163 is back at Mornington but would be possible to transport it back to Newport by truck and K160 is still being overhauled but yes I do agree, it would be cool.
1:04 da mixed train
It was all 1950s-1960s traction from Melbourne to Shepparton and return hence the T classes at the rear of the train, while the 2 Ks managed the shuttles.
@@Gaminggunzeller thanks, i get it now
