Quite a few comments now saying you can take off the cat s marker lol we know we showed everyone else we took the caterham and more recently the bmw m4 to inspection at autolign 👌👍
Rob , being dyslexic doesn't hold you back at all. Your skills in problem-solving and entrepreneurship shine through brilliantly. Keep up the great work! I personally work in a different field all together but having it blows my colleagues minds. I’m totally inspired by the work you do, you and Chris certainly have some kit and knowledge between you both plus the contacts. Keep up the good work!
Spot on mate true words 🇮🇪👍
I totally agree. A dyslexic has so so much to offer. LinkedIn now lists dyslexia as a plus factor, a bonus, a special skill. It is a different way of thinking and my son, a dyslexic in his 30s wouldn't have the amazing job he has, if he was not dyslexic. In a previous role he was recruited BECAUSE he was dyslexic and therefore brought a superior skill set to the company. Be proud not apologetic! 👍🏽
Statically People with Dyslexia have a higher than average IQ👌.
Rob, we all make basic English errors or get tongue tied sometimes.
Don't worry about it, you don't need to apologise.
If people point little errors out, they miss the point of the channel.
This is real life.
Keep up the great work.
Rob I am dyslexic I run a business with a multi million pound turnover and employ 40 people, hard work and graft helps overcome everything Too often people use a disability as an excuse or other people stygmatise you for having a disability ignore it and crack on you are doing a great job
Rob you have no need to explain yourself If someone picks up on what you say it's shame on them.. you and Chris do a great job your honesty and integrity are plain to see keep up the great work.
John your friend from Glasgow
Rob, no need for you to apologise for being dyslexic, it’s a gift once you realise you can do things others can’t do
I was waiting for that picture to pop up 😂😂
Me too,he got us good 😆
@kevoc3268 🤣 we still waiting for it
Rob your skills are an example to anyone who feels they may identify as dyslexic. The videos that you and Chris produce are fantastic.
Thank you Gentlemen.
👍👍
Rob being dyslexic isn't a problem with the awesome camera work and video's. You both graft and love what you do ao well.
This has always been the most realistic salvage channel out there.
You & Chris make a great team & good luck to you both 👍🏻
Well, Rob, with regards to the dyslexia, I'm a paramedic with dyslexia and I have the same attitude to you. It is what it is, its not the end of the world we just have to work harder, and I tell my students I have dyslexia, so me checking academic work is a none starter, lol. Now I know Chris is good, but right from the first video, he wasn't going to fix the doors.
What a fantastic looking car, yet again, great work from boys.
Thanks for the work you do as a paramedic, retired police officer here, always had a good laugh with the LAS guys and girls. Ged
I used to be dyslexic, but I'm alright won!! Keep up the great work. Enjoying your channel and watching it grow.
Great video lads good job Rob fitting those doors rather you than me and turned out a lovely car and at a great price 👌
Love it when Rob uses Shakespearean phrases..”there is method in my madness”.. Maybe try and work in “tender is the night”, “to be or not to be?” or “the darling buds of May” into some future videos?
That cracked me up. Brilliant.
Rob's best quote though was when he had just hung the rear door and muttered, 'Let the doors be shut upon him, that he may play the fool no where but in's own house.'
I’ll show you that now…… Rob stares at the camera, nothing happens….😅top job again lads I hate taking door trims off!
Don’t worry with
Don’t worry about your grammar, your reports are first rate, a total education watching your description how to strip down the a door. I had a speaker blow in my drivers door. The main agent wanted £180.00 just to look at it. I followed your instructions how to remove the door card and I replaced the defective speaker at a fraction of the main agents quote. Good on you, thank you.
I have bought an X3 as a result of this video. Great car so far, averaging 53 MPG. Sound system is excellent 😊
Hay Rob, I’m dyslexia too you make perfect sense to me and your drive and enthusiasm and skills makes up for any shortcomings you may feel you have, you are one of my personal heroes
Rob being able to strip and rebuild interiors like you can is a art in itself i always praze Chris but I can't not mention you well done mate another great video keep up the good work
Rob, you don’t suffer from dyslexia, you have malapropism which is just getting words the wrong way round or sometimes using the wrong word. Most people do this to some extent, don’t let this worry you because it’s what is said not how it is said that is important and the viewing figures are good so that says it all👍
Mmmmm... Rob like Yoda is, mean you?
1:27 Nice picture mate, made laugh😂
Not surprised a family member snapped that up! Very nice work as always boys.
Love it as always but Rob why don't you and Chris put up a little wooden shelter/car port along that side of the yard that way anything that's not water tight can go under there also handy on a overcast day with a little drizzle, does not need to cost a lot a few posts and some roofing make a nice job of it and be real handy 👍 love what you guys do as all ways
Hi rob and Chris great job on the BMW when you set the door on the wee stand i nearly died i thought about the bumper that fell off the last time. From marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
Embrace your Neurodiversity. Life is too short to worry about our differences. Most who have dyslexia or have irlen maybe have other difference also, maybe this is what helps you achieve stuff in life others struggle with. There's 1000s of us watching that would love to do what guys do daily and just enjoy watching what you guy's are getting up to on builds an a bit of life!
I'm a guy who's been diagnosed firstly with dyslexia & now other conditions. Now I know what's what, and getting treatment, life is getting easier every day.
Onwards and upwards guy's, keep up the good work!
BMW s are just very well designed for taking apart and putting back together.
Ask my local timing chain specialist who advertise on Facebook
It was good to see that Chris didn't have to break a ball this time, excellent result as always
Chris and rob
You don everything to a very high standard
And everyone can see this
You are tops in this game
I even now use the same car wash
Fantastic
☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪
Great car! Well done guys & great to hear that it has gone to a family member, smiles all round!
Hi Rob. You did a fantastic job doing those fours on your own leaving Chris to get on with something else 🤣 Glad a family member is getting a cracking motor 🤩
You are both absolute legends, genuinely honest gentlemen. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy a car from you both. You are both extremely talented & professional and are truly amazing ambassadors for your industry. I can’t praise you both enough, nothing but the utmost of respect & admiration for you both. Best wishes to you both & your families 😊👍
When you were dismantling the drivers door, why not use a nibbler to remove the outer skin to get to the parts you needed? Another great vid lads, keep up the great work.
Rob, from one Dyslexic to another.
Don't worry about getting your
'Mixed-facts up!' 😁👍
Fair play to you Rob as those doors look a right nightmare, but you just crack on and get it done.
Good evening Rob and Chris, car looks great. Lots of nice comments this evening, great review of the trim clips- ‘they are crap, I wont be recommending them’. 😅😅😅 Good profit guys and I’m glad a family member got it, excellent news. Thank you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
Happy 5th Birthday on the channel lads. Its you two that make this channel enjoyable to watch every week. Thank you and keep it up guys
Don’t apologise for being dyslexic mate. Great video as usual but them prices for the doors and air bag work that was pricey. Also surprised to see Rob doing abit 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Rob, you need to teach us all about how you keep white trainers so clean, I can put a white T-shirt on and it’s dirty in seconds, you’re fixing a car and they look box fresh.
Rob, You where saying about the rain? I've purchased myself a decent Gazebo and its the best thing I've done.. Obviously not recommended in the wind but it's a good idea for outside work!.. Regards Paul.. Keep up the good work guys 👍
Oh no everybody sighs we can’t buy it 😂,lovely car for one of your family Rob 👍
The only trouble with doing it for family, is that you automatically issue a free, unlimited warranty, parts and labour :)
Dyslexia is such a difficult word to spell especially when you’re dyslexic. Rob, its a superpower mate. more people should recognise it as such.
yes i get pulled up many a time
In my experience, if a car has had a whack that covers more than be particular panel, then the assessor usually calls it a Cat S even though the damage is purely cosmetic. The only thing I can think here is that the crossbar inside the door has been damaged.
Either way I agree that the structure of the car has not been damaged and should be a Cat N instead.
I've been in the field for the last few weeks, you're videos have kept me going, thanks ❤ a billion Rob and Chris ❤❤❤ 🇮🇪🍀🇮🇪❤️💪🍀🇮🇪
Another quality repair , nice profit as well , good job guys 👍👍👍
you can tell you love your work, really skilled men its not as easy as you make it look, would have taken years to learn what you two do ,best on youtube..
Pop up gazebo ! smashing car and end result ...
Lovely car that, I had I feeling it wouldn’t be going up for sale! Keep the videos coming lads 👍
Rob, you need a car port or gazebo in the yard for if the weather catches you out mate. I’m sure Dan or Chris can throw something together 👍
Hopefully you still charge the same money . After all the're still getting a bargain and your still making a profit . Well done guys .
The paint shop always does a great job. Rob you did well with the doors and at the same time keeping one eye on the weather. The seat is as new and the interior is so nice no one would know it was damaged. I think if you were selling it at that price it would have been good for a subscriber but family should come first without a doubt. Thank you Rob and Chris for the videos on this one it turned out very nice. 👍👍
I go to the bin in my slippers and they get dirty.... Rob strips cars and walks around scrap yards and not a scuff .... Whats the secret? ... 200 pairs of trainers !!!😂
Beautiful finish nice job guys😊
Absolutely brilliant job! 😊 looks superb. Very sensible to keep “in the family” such a nice motor.
Rob, there’s a damaged 2021 Subaru Forester, on EBay, it’s on for £7750, 12k miles, could be a decent margin in it and it looks fairly close to you
Top quality repair as always, Been watching this channel for years 🥳👌
Another good video Rob. All the best to you and Chris
You could do with one of those car ports from Machine Mart or a Gazebo for doing stuff outside 😊
Watched your content for about 3 days now and think it’s great.
Would loved to have had a punt on the M4 you did late last year.
This X3 should never have seen a Cat S status but the fix was relatively simple and your family is getting a sorted car that will last many years to come.
Off to watch your older stuff now until the next release 👍👍
Nice one Rob, great job.
bojo trim tools are the ones you want.
I strip interiors daily and there the tool of the trade.
Rob you could do with an extra portable canopy out there in Chris’s yard, it could be useful when you need a bit of an extra dry place if the weathers looking dodgy..
Cracking job guys, good luck to the family member Rob. Cor didn't Chris look laid back that old chair of his....hmmm! Cheers guys...
always good videos i like the way that you say the whole process and tell us the profit/losses keep up the good work cant wait for the next one
When i had to do a door lock and handle removal on a badly damaged car i just cut the door skin off round were the handle was. Five minutes instead of half an hour and no blood on my hands .
What a nice bit of kit now it’s finished 👌🏼
Nice job, looks brilliant now. Lovely motor.
Rob. Really like the real time running commentary during the front door strip. Don’t recall you doing this so well before.
Good afternoon from Australia boys , I’m from the Uk originally and work here for myself as a trader , always watch the videos nice job on that little BM keep up the good work 👍
Whereabouts are ya bud? I m in Melbs. Good to see some Ex UK Aussie crew like myself 😂 I watch every week, I ain't even in the trade! Thinking about it though!
@@networkzero0 hello matey I’m in Perth W.A 👍
Love it when family have stuff you've fixed and what a beautiful motor to 👌👌👌
Thanks guys. Another excellent video. Those X3 BMW's do look good. I might just treat myself to one.
Lovely job again guys, always great viewing! 👌
Why not get yourselves an ‘emergency’ weather popup gazebo for the odd occasion you have to work outside YT get caught out by rain etc. For all they cost and can be left up for ages and tied and weighted down. Get your advertising on it as well! Great videos as usual guys!
Nice BMW. I can't wait to see another one of your new videos.
Remarkably honest guys. Really appreciate it. Well done.
Don't know what it is but I do like it when they got to your family and friends. Your repairs go above and beyond 🎉
Awesome work guys,it looks a really nice car with the doors and paint done.the doors seem very light to replace.quick turnaround in 3 days.
Great job and a nice looking motor
Premier league repair as usual fellas looks good 👍 rob you need to buy a gazebo for out side work just for the off chance it rains 🌧 when you are trying to get graft done stay lucky and healthy 👍 nice little drink 🍸 out of this one looking forward to Sundays video 📹 already 😊
Rob and Chris what a fantastic job on the BMW X car I don’t care if you wear green trainers You got the job done that’s all DOWN to you.😊
I think yous should make some sort of cover for out side when your doing a car out there so car and you don't get wet doesn't after be an expensive one
Lovely bit of salvage great job guys
That was a sweet repair Rob as you were able to 90% of that whole car on your own. Big respect to you bud! 👍
Love watching you, Rob. You are so skilled at what you do. You have fantastic knowledge of cars, and how to fix them.👍
just superb,thanking you both
Another beautiful car done right 👍
You just cant beat a nice black bmw.
Top job boys 👍👍
Looks great chaps onwards and upwards.
Great video Rob well done guys excellent work as always ❤
Rob, Chris, she turned out a beauty. If only they were all that easy to turn around.
Fantastic outcome guys what a beautiful car, well done Rob &Chris nice little project
100% with you on having a heavier lorry as it`s headaches all round! Yes, I run a 7.5 tonner for carrying my own vintage tractors and it`s brilliant. But because I am only carrying my own property and it`s not for hire or reward I can get away with lots! This would consist of having an operator`s licence, driver`s qualification for a start! I `m not sure if you step aside those by using trade plates now as rules have changed so much! Simply not worth it for something you use so little. The only way you can justify it would be to be running a full time recovery business.
Great job 👍 another one turned around.
Great job you did on the M3 Rob 🤔but is there any chance I can become a Family member🤭🤣😂 keep up with the outstanding car rebuilds👏🏻👍🏻👏🏻
Nice one Rob, lighter days longer nights looking really good with this one plus teamwork with Chris of course
What a very nice looking car Rob
I think people saying about a truck have no idea how expensive a big truck is to run
Insurance and rego plus you need a truck license 👍👍🇦🇺
Those orange trim tools work fine on Italian cars😁😁
Family member calling 'dibs' on the X3, proves the old saying 'It's not what you know, it's who you know'.
Hey Rob just done one of those dna test /ancestry things and found out we are related 😜😜😜keep me in mind for the next bargain 👍👍👍👍🇮🇲you two are class.😅
Result that makes it all worthwhile. Chinese proverb - _"If you find a job you love doing then you never need to work ever again in your life."_
Thanks lads, another great video turned out very well in the end 👍
