It’s a lot of work, but being confident enough to remove the engine early whereas someone else might try and do the job without doing that and then have to take it out later!

I think I already said in the Morris Commercial video that I would love to see more please Chris. Back to this car and it is quite amazing the amount of work you have done in just two videos. At least the car runs and drives so that is great news, no nasty surprises although it did sound a bit rough at first that seems to have now gone quiet. It is much easier to work on with the engine out as there is not a lot of space so that was a good move and it was quite simple to remove anyway. BTW I like the engine hoist as it is, it shows that it is well used. Thanks for another interesting video Rob and Chris very well done. 👍👍

There’s 170 mile in the tank, I used to have a 23 plate Fiesta st line x, was the same digital dash
I would like to see another video on the Morris commercial I find the classic vehicles very interesting lads.
You have ¼ of a tank 😊.. This is a mild hybrid.. it never runs just on electric.. the hybrid just assists the petrol engine by giving power to the flywheel.. helps reduce turbo lag and slight increase in mpg..

The fuel isn’t zero, the solid line shows how much fuel is in there between 0 to full.
It has about - third of a tank or 170 miles of fuel

1987, same engine lift as that, borrowed it in a luton van from work, for my weekend "fiddle"
the company went bankrupt next monday, no van to take it back, so it was in his my mate's back yard till he moved, bloody ton weight that thing... keep it up chaps

That 0 next to the fuel gauge just shows where on the bar graph empty is. It's got over a quarter of a tank. The mild-hybrid thing is just 48V that regen's and boosts using the starter/alternator that's belt driven on the engine. It doesn't do much and it can't work without the engine running. In a puma the 48v battery is under the drivers seat. The 12V battery charges from the 48V using a DC-DC convertor in the O/S front corner which might need checking for damage.
Thats what I was thinking too
I should have said it has a normal 12V starter as well. The hybrid/stop/start/regen/boost thing only works if 48V is available. If not it uses normal 12V starter on flywheel. And it's definitely running on 3 cylinders :-) At least it doesn't have a wet belt.
And regarding the Morris Commercial video - I'd certainly like to see more on it, as I would the HA Viva.

Lads!! Your not looking at those gauges properly..its a Focus, so not that clever..lol. fuel on the right is 0 (nothing) at the bottom and 1(full) at the top, and your fuel gauge is the line between the 2 showing nearly half full!! Same with the temperature gauge on the left.. 😂
And that arrow pointing left next to the petrol pump symbol lets you know the petrol caps on the left
I much prefer proper old gauges, even an idiot like me understands them😂

Changed from wet belt to chain at 2020 i believe, imbeciles still kept the rubber belt to drive the oil pump though ..

Hi, are you looking at the fuel gauge correctly ? 0 next to the fuel pump symbol is when its empty the 1 at the top when full the digital part of the fuel gauge is showing about a 1/4 of a tank of fuel ?
